A great prayer to make before you start your day.

Good morning Holy Spirit;
For it’s a good morning indeed;
Am so thankful to have seen it;
And that’s greater than any need.

Wow! What a sunshine!
Upon my countenance you have released;
Flowing on my face like wine;
Leaving my soul appeased.

How lovely are the birds;
As they sing thanks to you;
Even the ruminant with its curds;
Chews in gratitude to you.

What the heck is that sound?
Could those be stones praising?
No way! I will turn around;
My place they can’t take to sing.

Good morning Lord;
And thank you for a bright morning;
I know I couldn’t afford;
But now I am praising and jumping;
For you have said to me aloud;
Take the day, make it worth living.

Thank you Lord.

This is a wonderful, quick pick me up to remind us to be always grateful, no matter what. For nothing is more honorable than a grateful heart and as Meister Eckhart said: "If the only prayer you ever said in your life was thank you, that would suffice."

Voted up and sharing!
