I have never seen in all my life
A heart as beautiful as the heart of God.
Who forgives all my sins
And cancels thousands of my trangressions
And keeps no record of them.
He washes me as white as snow
And gives me a new beginning
And restores my hope to live a better life.
His mercy for me endures forever
His mercy for me is always fresh
Every birth of a new day.
In His hands, I am safe and secure
He never takes off His eyes away from me
He upholds me by His righteous hands.
Though I had been His great enemy before
A great transgressor of His law
He never treated me as my sins deserve
Instead He reserves His wonderful plan for me.
Though my life had been so ugly and despicable
The moment He took over
He turned my life into beauty
And made it a channel of blessings.
My once ugly life
Was transformed into beauty
By His righteous hands.
Once an instrument of wickedness
Now a channel of His grace.
If God’s mercy had not arrived in my life,
How miserable my life could have been
Living in the world had always been so despicable.
But now I am rejoicing
Because of God’s great love
I could look forward to a great future with Him.
For He bestowed on me
The marvelous gift of eternal life.
Living a life apart from God
This is the most miserable life
For life will be beautiful only
When it is lived for God’s glory.
This once despicable life,
Has now become so glorious
Because there existed one marvelous person
The great and awesome God.
