We would like to take the time to mention about a word that we feel is wrong to use, as the bible tells us not to use the names of pagan gods.

Exodus 23:13 And in all that I have said unto you be circumspect: and make no mention of the name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.

When the scriptures were translated, first into Greek, then into Latin, and from there into English, the translators have changed the name of the Almighty Yehowah, to the name LORD, and changed the name of the Messiah, his son, from Yehowshuwa, to the incorrect name of Jesus Christ. For more information on this, click the following link: Yehowah and Yehowshuwa, the True Bible Names in Hebrew They also added the name Amen, so that people unknowingly end up worshiping a false God.

Here is how Yehowshuwa the Messiah told us how to pray to his Father Yehowah.

Luke 11:2 And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. Give us day by day our daily bread. And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.

Matthew 6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. [ his name is Yehowah] Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. (Amen?)

In Matthew, they added the word Amen to the end. The word Amen in my opinion should not be added to the end of any prayer, because this is a name of an Egyptian god, meaning 'the hidden'.

This deity of Egypt is mentioned in Nahum 3:8 as populous of No. And in Jeremiah 46:25 as mutitude of No. In the Strong's Concordance in Hebrew #527 as amown populous and multitude. And #528 Amown an Egyptian god, originally the local god of Thebes, later head of the Egyptian pantheon.

In the Torah, which is the first five books of the Old Testament or Tanakh, the word Amen appears 14 times each at the end of curses nowhere else. Numbers 5:22, Deuteronomy 27:15-26)

It was never used at an end of a prayer, this tradition is brought about in the Rabbinical Jewish Talmud, which also prohibits the people from using the true name of the Almighty Yehowah YHWH, and told to substitute it with the word adonay instead and then the people are told to use the word Amen at the end of a prayer. Which is what most Christian churches also do, and the Muslims and most of the secret societies.

According to the Encyclopedia of Judaism, Amen was never used in the First Temple era. It was during and after the Second Temple era that it became part of their Liturgy.
By adding this word to the end of a prayer it would sound like you are praying to and invoking the Egyptian deity Amen. Also known as Amen-Ra. Which means Amen the sun god.

Remember we are to use the true names, and no other, Yehowah the Father, and Yehowshuwa for his son.

The three Obelisks

Obelisk in Vatican City

Obelisk in Washington D.C.

Obelisk in London City

Another thing I would like to mention is the Obelisk, which is where the sun god Amen-Ra is claimed to reside. He was worshiped as the creator god in Egypt. They claimed that he actually resides in the Obelisk so therefore the places that have an obelisk are worshiping the sun god Amen.
There are three city states in the world that are like a sovereign city within Country, or State. And each of these three cities have an Obelisk.

1. Vatican, 2. Washington DC., 3. City Center of London.

Here we have the Roman Catholic, the Protestant, and the Anglican, all three appear to be worshiping the god Amen. Why else would they have these Obelisks. The one in London coming all the way from Egypt.

All these religions end there prayers with Amen. Also Secret Societies, when saying their ritual prayers, they too end it with Amen.
This appears to me to be the reason for omitting the true name of the Almighty Yehowah and adding to the bible the false name Amen, and you may notice that it is always with a capitol A in the KJV, thus making this word a proper noun, like a name. Also notice that this is one of the few words that has not been translated, but has been transliterated. It is also the most known word in the World.
Also worthy of note is that the Jews, the Christians, and the Muslims end their prayers, with the word Amen.

They are all worshiping a false God, the highest angel, the Devil.

Satan, the master deceiver, has been out to deceive all people. Satan was also the highest angel, so he is very clever. He would deceive the very elect if it were possible.

I, YEHOWAH thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness that in heaven above, or that in the earth beneath, or that in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I, YEHOWAH, thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth of them that hate me; And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. (Exodus 20:2)

Joshua (Yehowshuwa) 24:14 KJV Now therefore fear YEHOWAH, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye YEHOWAH.

The Cult of Amen

In Egypt there was a major cult that worshiped the Sun god Amen, also called Amen-ra. The largest cult of Amen was the city of Thebes now called Luxor, Amen was also identified with the Ram.
The cult of Amen consisted of three Egyptian gods, Amen, Mut and their son Khonsu. Also known as the Theban Triad. This cult of Thebes was mentioned in the bible in Jeremiah.

YEHOWAH of hosts, the God of Israel, saith ; Behold, I will punish the multitude of No, and Pharaoh, and Egypt, with their gods, and their kings; even Pharaoh, and all them that trust in him: (Jeremiah 46:25)

The "multitude of No" means the "cult of Amen of Thebes".

Ezekiel 30:14 And I will make Pathros desolate , and will set fire in Zoan, and will execute judgments in No. And I will pour my fury upon Sin, the strength of Egypt; and I will cut off the multitude of No. And I will set fire in Egypt: Sin shall have great pain , and No shall be rent asunder , and Noph shall have distresses daily. The young men of Aven and of Pibeseth shall fall by the sword: and these cities shall go into captivity. At Tehaphnehes also the day shall be darkened , when I shall break there the yokes of Egypt: and the pomp of her strength shall cease in her: as for her, a cloud shall cover her, and her daughters shall go into captivity. Thus will I execute judgments in Egypt: and they shall know that I am YEHOWAH.

The second largest cult of Amen was in Heliopolis, a Greek word which means "City of the Sun". Heliopolis was the center for sunworship. It was located northwest of the city now called Cairo. This place was called "Aven and On" in the King James bible in the following verses:

And Pharaoh called Joseph's name Zaphnathpaaneah; and he gave him to wife Asenath the daughter of Potipherah priest of On. And Joseph went out over all the land of Egypt. (Genesis 41:45)

The young men of Aven and of Pibeseth shall fall by the sword: and these cities shall go into captivity.. (Ezekiel 30:17)

The high places also of Aven, the sin of Israel, shall be destroyed : the thorn and the thistle shall come up on their altars; and they shall say to the mountains, Cover us; and to the hills, Fall on us.(Hosea 10:8)

I will break also the bar of Damascus, and cut off the inhabitant from the plain of Aven, and him that holdeth the sceptre from the house of Eden * : and the people of Syria shall go into captivity unto Kir, saith YEHOWAH. (Amos 1:5)

And mentioned as "Bethshemesh" hebrew for "House of the Sun"

He shall break also the images of Bethshemesh, that is in the land of Egypt; and the houses of the gods of the Egyptians shall he burn with fire. (Jeremiah 43:13)

Heliopolis is where the obelisk at St. Peter's square originally came from. It was built by the Pharaoh Mencares in 1835 BC in honor of the sun, it was brought to Rome in 37 BC by the Emperor Caligula and erected in the circus he built. And in 1586 Sixtus V had it moved to the center of St. Peter's Square. The obelisk is a sun worship idol were their god Amen resides, coming from the "city of the Sun"
The Catholic religion is the same as the religion of the Cult of Amen. Sun worship.

The true name of the messiah is Yehowshuwa, (יְהוֹשׁוּע) before the Messiah returned to his Father Yehowah in heaven, he warned his disiples that they would be persecuted for his name's sake.

And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved . (Matthew 10:22)

And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake : but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved . (Mark 13:13)

But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake. (Luke 21:12)

And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake (Luke 21:17)

But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me. (John 15:21)

So many of the true followers of Yehowshuwa were persecuted and killed, and by the time Constantine came into power, (who himself worshipped the Sun, Sol Invictus), the true name of the Messiah Yehowshuwa, was replaced with the false name Iesous Christos, also known as Amen. This is why prayers end with the word Amen, it is a continuation of the cult of Amen. Constantine continued the sun worship religion of the cult of Amen, that in 321 AD he put into law that all shops and businesses close on the venerable day of the sun, Sunday. And in 325 AD they incorporated the falseTrinity doctrine to facilitate the Amen's cult need of the three Egyptian gods in one. Amen, Khonsu and Mut . Father and Son and Mary (holy ghost), that is why the Catholic church worship and venerate Mary and even call her Queen of Heaven a pagan title mentioned in the bible. Pope Francis himself calls Mary his Mother. 'Mut' means 'Mother'. That would make Pope Francis the high priest of the cult of Amen.

The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger (Jeremiah 7:18 )

The Greeks compared Amen with Zeus and was named Ammon-Zeus. Alexander the Great later wanted to be known as son of Ammon-Zeus. Heliopolis is now modern day Cairo/Chi-Rho. Constantine also employed the Chi-Rho along with the cross as his sign or banner, claiming that Christ told him use it. The Chi-Rho was also a symbol on coins with the head of Ammon-Zeus by Ptolemy III Euergetes (r. 246–222 BC).
The Catholic religion is built on the Egyptian doctrine of Amen and the Mystery of the Trinty. The very name Christian comes from the false name Jesus Christ, therefore all Christian Churches are false. They have incorporated the trinity doctrine, which is not scriptual, and made Jesus Christ God. The first commandment states:

And God spake all these words, saying , I am YEHOWAH thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before me. (Exodus 20:1-3)

And I heard another voice from heaven, saying , Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.(Revelation 18:4)

The Gnostic Church

It is said that Gnosticism is a term given to a philosophical movement that flourished between 2nd century BCE to the 4th century CE. It is the Gnostic that tried to incorporate Greek philosphy into the gospels, changing and pulling away the gospel from its Judaism roots.
The Gnostic church has its roots in Egypt, they claim that the initiate has to learn the sacrements which they call the sacred Amens.
I would like to point out that the Gnostic's who also call themselves Christian, believe and invoke the Egyptian god Amen-ra. They claim that the three Hebrew letters א Aleph, מ Mem, and נ Nun represent Father (Aleph), Mother or Holy spirit (Mem), and Son (nun)

They call this the Trinity or the Cosmic Christ, the Gnostic Church themselves claim that "Amen-Ra or Osiris-Ra is precisely what we invoke when we want to bring down that cosmic force, when we perform the Sacred-Amens, the Sacr-Aments, the Sacraments.... That is why in ancient Egypt when somebody was assimilating these cosmic forces of Amen-Ra, of Osiris-Ra, they will call him or her an Osirified one. In this day and age we call them a Christified one, utilizing the Greek word Christ"
The Gnostic Christian knows full well that they worship Amen-Ra the Egyptian god.

The word Amen has been intentionally added to the bible by the Greek philosophers and they also changed the Greek word Messias to Christ. It is an intentional corruption of the gospels.
That is why when the orthodox church baptizes someone they also add the word Amen after each person of the trinity, as Father Amen and Son Amen and Holy Spirit Amen. It is the same as Gnosticism. Christianity is that old Egyptian religion of Amen-ra.

In the Catholic Catechism it states:
1064 - Thus the Creed's final "Amen" repeats and confirms its first words: "I believe." To believe is to say "Amen" to God's words, promises and commandments; to entrust oneself completely to him who is the "Amen" of infinite love and perfect faithfulness. The Christian's everyday life will then be the "Amen" to the "I believe" of our baptismal profession of faith:

So here again the use of Amen is understood by the initiates of the mysteries, but the true meaning is hidden to the ordinary person, but if one reads carefully it states that a person is "to entrust oneself completely to him who is the Amen" They want you to worship Amen the Pagan Egyptian God.

The fact is that there were many coptic Christians who had their monasteries in Luxor both on the East side of the River Nile and at Thebes on the West Bank which had a very large population of Coptic Christians in antiquity. They even had a Holy See established at Thebes before the Council of Nicaea in 325 AD. They inhabited and rebuilt temples dedicated to Amen-Ra.

The scriptures says repeatedly that we are to worship Yehowah, YHWH our Creator. And the Messiah Yehowshuwa said the greatest commandment is to love Yehowah with all our heart mind and soul. The bible also states that we are not to have the name of false gods coming out of our mouths.

This is why we have to seek the truth on our own because Satan has set a snare of lies. He is a liar and murderer from the beginning.

We've been lied to.

One thing to understand is that we have been lied to. We know that the bible states that Satan the Devil is the father of lies. So a prudent bible believer should be on the lookout for the lies that Satan will have us believe.

It is folly to believe everything we are told. You will not find the truth from any preacher or pastor in any Christian church because they can't tell you the truth. They have to speak according to the Nicene Creed, they cannot speak differently, if they do they will be replaced.

Continue or Stop.

Knowing that Amen is a name of an Egyptian god, will you continue or stop saying it .

Seek the Truth

There are many people who did not know some of this information and have used this word unknowingly as to what it really means. But that is what mind control and brainwashing is, it is to have people saying and doing things without realizing what they are saying or doing. That is why a person has to seek for the truth themselves. Acts 17:30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at ; but now commandeth all men every where to repent.

The truth does not come from any Christian Church, because they have to follow a set of false doctrines. The main one being the false name Jesus Christ. The bible tells us repeatedly that there are many false prophets, false prophets are those who lead you to worship a false god. Satan is in control of this world, he tempted Yehowshuwa the Messiah with all the riches and kingdoms of this world, claiming it was his and that he can give it to whomever he wants (Luke 4:6). In return he wanted Yehowshuwa to bow down and worship him. Yehowshuwa's answer to the Devil was this.

Luke 4:8 And Yehowshuwa answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written , Thou shalt worship YEHOWAH, thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

Revelation 12:9
And the great dragon was cast out , that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

It is quite clear that Satan, the Devil is out to deceive everyone and those who love not the truth will believe a delusion and a lie (2 Thessalonians 2:11).

The Egyptian god of creation is Amun (not Amen)-- meaning crowned with feathers. But maybe I shouldn't mention it.

I appreciate your comment. But I believe we don't know the vowels used. Some say it is Amon, some say Amen, some say Amun . The Strongs concordance says, Amown. I have a bible dictionary that states Amon or Amen, the hidden, so to me it is too close to the Egyptian deity to use at the end of a prayer. dedicated to the Almighty Yehowah.

I thank you very much

"Amen" is an ancient Hebrew word. The English equivelent is Verily" or "So be it."

Amen is in the OT 22 times, Hebrew #543 amen. Before the vowels were added, it would be written in Hebrew as MN. The Hebrews came out of Egypt, and they would have known that the Egyptian creator was MN, could there be a link? For some reason this is one of the few words that has been transliterated through Greek, then Latin, and finally English. Yet the true name of the Almighty, has been hidden. Leaving me to believe that this is Satan's way to have people worshiping him, so I refrain from it's use.

Your retarted. The god you refer to IS in Amun Ra, who was actually a pheroh. Go learn some history, and don't rely on one book. Expand your horizons, and think for yourself for all the god's sakes!!

It's kinda niether here or there the spelling or pronounciation. The truth is, the reson for the similaritys and the obelisks is that Christianity IS a spon of Egypt and it's important no matter your faith, to know the Origen.

I can appreciate your thought and clarity on this particular subject. I to struggle from time to time with scripture and the usage of this word, which is precisely why I am on your page, searching for answers. But God the creator of all has gone by many names "I AM" "Jehovah" etc. every name given in scripture should not be scrutinized by the faithful. This I found myself doing after reading something online. It bothered,me tested my faith, but in the end God reminded me of this simple truth " My word will never die". Man is clever crafty and sinister, so is satan, but not so clever to cause God to make a promise to you he cannot keep. I don't read all versions of the scripture just kjv, but every word contained in it I believe, sometimes grudgingly but the truth always comes and my faith grows because of it. No man or angel has the power to supersede the word of God if you believe that, it would seem that "you have a form of Godliness but deny the power thereof". Thank You and God Bless You Amen.

I have been studying theology for a very long time. Perhaps I can help to clear this up.

The Hebrews AND Egyptian priests had common social and cultural roots via the Semetic (as in descendents of Shem) tribes, although others might argue it was Hametic (as in descendents of Ham), irregardless, BOTH were sons of Noah & therefore still had identical roots. The same was true of the Sumerians and the Chaldeans (Who eventually became the Babylonians). The Hebrew & Egyptian languages also had the same roots. If you look beyond the Egyptian's ancient hieroglyphs, to the day-to-day writings, BOTH wrote using consonates and vowels were interchangable. There are numerous places where NSR meant the same for Hebrew or Egyptians irregardless of which vowel they were spoken with. The "Amun" & Amen" argument is moot as they are the same root word.

As for a all-encompassing ancestry of Egypt as a country, there was no such thing, as rulership of Egypt went back and forth, between, Nubian, Hyksos, Semetic and other dynasties depending upon the current conquering/controlling nation. Sometimes the Hebrews were allied with Egypt, sometimes they were not. What added more problems to the hindsight concerning the Egyptian religious heritage is that conquering kings often established themselves as Gods to be worship by their subjects.

Yes Amen, and you can write the name Amun, Amon, Ammon, Hamon, etceteras, regardless it WAS the name of an Egyptian God, however what many laypersons do not know is that the Egypt religion was not solely based in pantheon worship of a variety of fetish & pharonic gods. There was also a monothesiastic element that recognized a single greator, universal creator god. Pharoah Amenhotep IV made a decree outlawing the worship of all other gods during his rule other than that universal creator god. In the Egyptian religion, that was who Amen was. By the way, the 18th Dynasty; the Thutmoses (AKA Thoth-Moses="born of Thoth") & Amenhoteps were Semetic kings. Hollywood has painted the Exodus as occuring in the 19th Dynasty of Seti & Ramsesses II. This may be, although the scriptures do not say who was king, Ramsesses I was an Egyptian general and friend of the last 18th Dynasty king Horemheb and very old when he took power. His heritage is unclear, but his mother was born in the former Hyksos capital, which could easily make his line and Dynasty non-Semetic.

I should point out that there was no such thing as Hebrews as a race of people prior to Jacob, who fathered the twelve tribes (which later became the Jewish nation). Jacob, who was, by pharoah, placed in one of the highest political positions one could hold without being a member of the royal family.

Maybe you recall the story of Moses (Egyptian word for Heir), who is credited with writing the first five books of the Torah, recognized in the Christian Bible as the first five books of the Old Testament. He was an infant when he was placed in his reed ark & soon after adopted by an Egyptian princess. As a member of the Royal family, his education fell under the responsibility of the EGYPTIAN priests, not Hebrew Rabbis (remember "Rabbi" means teacher), because Rabbi's did not exist until AFTER the Exodus, and the establishment of the Aaronide & Levite Priests. Who taught their doctrine, from the five books THAT MOSES WROTE WHILE THEY WANDERED IN THE WILDERNESS.

Why have some people throughout the centuries felt it necessary to retranslate and omit or change words, passages, or books parts of the scriptures because it raises questions that make them uncomfortable? The Holy Inquisition had the phrase "Thou shalt not suffer a poisoner to live." changed to "Thou shalt not suffer a WITCH to live." and then used that as a basis for their massive "Witch-hunts". Yet they weren't just going after people that worshipped Satan. Oh no, witch was a vague term that they could interpret as they please. Included in those murdered and their properties seized were the Templar Knights, an order who had individually declared vows of poverty to maintained the pilgrimage route to the holy land. Their crime was in that so many nobels donated so much money to the cause that it was nearly as wealthy as the Catholic Church.

How about if I drop another fly in the ointment? It concerns the Cherubium, which is rooted in the Hebrew word for "sword", as in the firey sword/cherubium God placed to prevent man's return to Eden. Cherubs are not the winged babies depicted in medievil, an accurate description appears in Ezekiel & the construction of both the Tabernacle & Solomon's Temple. Cherubium were God's Royal Guard. They had the face of a man, the face of an ox, the face of an eagle, and the face of a lion. Does that mean they looked like a totem pole? No. Face is a translated word with the same roots as facet as in a gem. One could also say "side" or "part". When you look at the description that way it clearly fits something a creature found in statues the ancients placed as gaurdians before temples & holy places. In Egypt, In Sumeria, In Chaldea, and embroidered on the viel (curtains) in the tabernacle and on either side and in miniture on the mercy seat of the Ark of the Covenant. A mythological, symbolic eagle-winged creature with a human head, the forebody of a lion and a bovine aft body. That is the answer to the riddle of the Sphynx.

Quick Correction, The Amenhotep who banished worship of all gods except Amen I was referring to was Amenhotep II, His grandson Amenhotep III supported this position. Amenhotep IV broke from this, had most references to Amen removed from edifaces, replaced Amen with a the sun-disk god Aten, & changed his name to Ahkenaten (He who is in service to Aten).

The worship of the god Amen goes back at least to the 5th dynasty. Perhaps as far back as prior to the 4rth dynasty's construction of the pyramids. This would place use of that particular God's name to within 400-500 years following the traditional time of the Antediluvian/Noachin Flood. As noted, Even in the Hebrew text, the Judea-Christian God was known by many names; Elohim (Which like the word Adamah AKA Adam is oddly plural), El, Yahweh (YHWH or YHVH, which became Jehovah with the old English soft "j" pronunciation of YHVH as "Yehovah"), Adonai (which usually replaces the unspeakable name for God, which the Greeks adopted into their divine pantheon as Adonis), Hashim, and at least 3 others that do not appear in the KJV. Could Amen be an ancient name for God lost to Jewish historical memory? It is certainly possibly, otherwise how else could it be accepted by Hebrews whose families suffered under a Pharonic King for the last 3 centuries. They had more just cause to be outraged to see an Egyptian God's name included in their holy writings in such a way as to seem an acknowledgement to whom they praying than Christians might.

What were the people doing, after they were brought out of Egypt, while Moses was up on the mountain?

Turning to other gods. So I see no problem for them to continue worshiping (amen-ra). I believe this is the reason all 3 religions use amen at the end of of their prayers.

Ah yes, you are refering to "The Golden Calf" story (Exod 32 & 33). This brings up the matter of the "True" authorship of passages in the Bible. Traditionally the Torah was said to have been written solely by Moses. However, after centuries of examination by theologians the actual authorship is generally accepted as broken down into 5 major sources:

- P=The Aaronide Priests-The High Priests, the only priests allowed to enter the Holy of the Holies to attend to God's "presence" on Earth via the Mercy Seat of the Ark of the Covenant & whom transported the Ark when needed.

- J=The Judean (Davidic) Royal Court-Primarily covering The Geneaological History & info from the king's scribes.-(i.e. "The Begats")

- E=The Levite Priests-Of the Tribe of Levi whom attended to the general duties for the Tabernacle & Temple

- D=The Primary Author of Deuteronomy-Attributed to Jeremiah or Baruch, son of Neriyah, Jeremiah's personal scribe.

- R=The Redactor-The Editor, said to be Ezra, an Aaronide Priest who creatively combined these various (& sometimes conflicting) writings into a single text, providing transitional passages to connect them (as needed).

The Golden Calf story came from the Levite priests, as did the story of Moses' brass serpent-headed staff, & every criticism of a king who allowed "high place" worship, although previously that was where all altars were built. This was understandable as the very survival of their families depended on their "cut" of the sacrifices, yet it was a big nation & not all families could afford to travel all the way to Jerusalem. It was for that reason the Shiloh priests order was formed to serve outlying communities.

The problem with the story is the question; "So why wasn't Aaron punished for making the icon?" Well, if you look at the preceding Aaronide Priest chapters (Exod 25-31), Aaron was directed to oversee the collection of the spoils of Egypt & the raw materials needed to start construction of the Tabernacle. Since the Levite Priests were not authorized to enter the Sanctum Sanctorum, they may have had no idea it was the sculpture of something with partially bovine features might be 1-of-2 Cherubium to be placed beside the Ark within.

Other notes which might have added to the confusion:

1) At the time, Apis, a fertility Bull God, was a minor competing God in that region.

2) Besides being connected to the sun, by combining Amen with the sun god Ra. Amen was also sometimes depicted as having a Bull's head or as a bull god. The god Min from Egypt's fourth dynasty, was also depicted as a white bull. (Following the "MN" consonant writing style discussed above; Min & Amen would be synonomous).

3) The letter "A" or "Aleph" originally appeared in merchant/trade symbology (possibly with the Phoeniceans) as a cow's head; written upside-down with the crossing middle line sticking beyond the sides.

4) The cow was an animal highly revered by most ancient peoples as a renewable source of various raw materials; milk, leather, meat, bone, remnants could be reduced to make soap, etc... In fact, very little was wasted, aside from blood which was considered to contain the holy essence of the animal's soul. This made blood a suitable item for sacrifice to most dieties.

5) The Greek phrase "I am the Alpha and the Omega", is philosophically accepted as meaning "God is in Everything", because these letters begin & end the Greek alphabet. The concept being that everything that can be given a name proceeds from the grace God. What may not help matters is that in Greek; Alph means "Ox" & Omega means "Great". Also problematic is that the last letter in the Hebrew alphabet is "Tau" or "T", which refers to the universe being divided into "4 directions".

Kevin M. suggests: “God the creator of all has gone by many names "I AM" "Jehovah" etc. every name given in scripture should not be scrutinized by the faithful"

WOW! So scripture should not be scrutinized. I see just swallow everything. Yes Kevin, Don't Think—it just might wake us up to the fact that all religions are just comforting myths that attempt to define the Creator; a Creator that is beyond our ability to comprehend.

God is unknowable. What all the Egyptian discussion means to me is that for all of time Man has a need to develop a definitive construct of 'The All That IS" so he can ease his tiny mind.

What saddens me is that throughout history we have killed each other over the particulars of these various myths--how very sad.

As it is written in The Tao Te Ching:

The tao that can be told

Is not the eternal tao

The name that can be named

Is not the eternal name

The unnamable is the eternal real

Naming is the origin

Of all particular things

Amen is a Semitic word (Aramaic)...the Egyptian God (Amun-Ra) is quite different. Ancient Egyptian was an Afro-Asiatic language, and the God Amun, I believe, originated out of the Berber pantheon.

So there's really no connection. Also, keep in mind when you say we shouldn't use the names of 'pagan' Gods that the story of Jesus likely originated from the Zoroastrian legend of Ahura Mazda. So it's kind of a moot point.

Dear Bro. & Sis. In Christ. Greetings in the name of our Lord & Savior Yeshua (Jesus Christ). I am not on here to hack, cut, or judge anyone, but only to present a few Bible truths. First of all God did not call any of us to argue or fight over His Word. But He did say in (Prov. 30:6): Add not unto His Words,(Plural)lest He reprove thee, and thou be found a Liar. KJV. Now to speak of the word Amen. It was and still is ordained of God by Him and in His Word also. Here are a few scriptures to confirm that. (Deut.27:15-26; 1Chr. 16:36; and Neh.5:13; 8:6) I wish you all a great and glorious day in the Lord. Sincerely Rev. Freddie Stuck

Egyptian religion was actually monotheistic, Amen was much like God, he was the universe and the creator. The other gods were simply manifestations of him. Could it be possible that Amen and God are the same god, just as Jews, Muslims, and Christians all have the same god? Amen could be Yehowah worshiped differently.

God cannot change, but people's perception of him can. Amen could be an Egyptian misconception of God, or their interpretation of God. If god cannot change that does not necessarily mean people will not view God in a different manner, give God a new name, and add their own mythology.

>Amen could be an Egyptian misconception of God

Or it could be your judeo-christian misconception of Amen-Ra. If you think you have it right, you're sadly mistaken.

Could you reword that? I didn't understand what you said.

I'm actually not Jewish or Christian by the way.

This is also not my opinion, but a plausible explanation.

God also said to Moses, "Say this to the Israelites: Yahweh, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name forever; this is how I am to be remembered in every generation. (Exodus 3:15)

Although I do see corruption/addition/subtraction in the Bible, I am in agreement with 'ro-jo-yo'. We never told by Yahweh/(IEUE/YHWH when said phonetically) (or anyone speaking for Him), that He is ALSO called 'Amen/Amun' - but I do see these words historically originating from the Egyptians.

The Egyptians were the people that our Almighty Creator had to rescue the Israelites FROM!

Moses was with the Egyptians during the 18th Dynasty - during this period their were many Pharaohs with names that had 'amen' included in them - so if it's right, why did our Father rescue/take us (Israelites) out of them?

The 18th dynasty was at the start of a period known as 'The New Kingdom', it continued through to the 20th. Through military dominance abroad, the New Kingdom gained the most teritory. It expanded far into Nubia in the south, and held wide territories in the Near East. Egyptian armies fought with Hittite armies for control of modern-day Syria.

Akhenaten, who was first known as AMENhotep IV, later worshipped the Aten. Aten was recognised as the overall creator and is often interpreted as the first instance of monotheism. The famous TutenkAMEN (his son), was first called TutenkATEN, however - after his fathers death either he or (as he was young)changed it to Tutenkamen.

Akhenaten was possibly the one who Moses interacted with, possibly accounting for the reason he changed his name from AMENhotep(IV). Below are given the names of the previous Pharaohs - please note the AMEN (capitalised) in their names.

Nebpehtire AhMose I.

AhMosis I (Successor to KAMose).

Djeserkare AMENhotep I 1541-1520

Aakheperkare Thutmose I 1520-1492

Aakheperenre Thutmose II 1492-1479

(a)MENkheperre Thutmose III 1479-1425

Maatkare Hatshepsut 1473-1458

Aakheperrure AMENhotep II 1425-1400

(a)MENkheperure Thutmose IV 1400-1390

Nebmaatre AMENhotep III 1390-1352

Neferkheperure-waenre AMENhotep IV 1352-1334

Later changed to Akhenaten. He was a Monotheist. His original name means "Amun is pleased."

Ankhkheperure Smenkhkare 1334-1333 Co-regent and successor of Akhenaten.

Nebkheperure Tutankhaten/Tutankhamun 1324-1320 Commonly believed to be the son of Akhenaten, probably reinstated the polytheistic religion and the name change reflects the change in primary deity from Aten to Amun.

We should study and verify the absolute truth - and not rely on information and advice from other third parties, my final words- LET IT BE SO (I understand that).

It has been a while since someone commented here but the link is still active on Google.....

CLEARLY STATED IN THE at least 2 places in the New Test-amen-t for all you born agains who don’t believe in the old Test-amen-t…..

All Christians, Jews, & Muslims worship Amen Ra (who is God from KMT not Egypt) as their true God and emphatically call his name when in or ending a prayer.

Amen Ra (Amen the hidden aspects of God Ra the visible aspects of God or the sun at night & the sun during the day) has existed for ions before there was ever an Egyptian or a Hebrew. Hmmm

In case you never noticed you are reading the

TEST-AMEN-T go figure.... from the The Halls of AMENT? Well maybe you missed that history class too.

OK here goes:

2 Corintians 1:20 For no matter how many promises God has made they are "yes" in Christ And so through him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God.

If I may, here the Amen is a being not describing an expression or Jewish/Hebrew/Christian/Muslim word, (Again) The Amen is spoken by us to glorify our God.

# 2 in case your still a little fuzzy...

Revalation 3:14 To the angel of the church in Laodicea write:

These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of Gods creation.

Ahhh probably just a typo;

Hey what came first the dinosaur or the ark!!!! Just kidding relaaaaaax...

There really is nothing wrong with being a sun worshipper if you know what sun your worshipping……hmmmm

While we are the topic of worshipping enough with all the Jesus worship hype already…..Please try to read the bible before you thump it…..

In the words of Jesus Christ himself:

I do not accept praise from men, but I know you.

I have read all comments. And there's more than enough evidence that proves where Christianity, Judaism and Islam originated from. So my question is, why are we still fighting?

My idea of God is not the idea of these impious religions nowadays.

To quote Thomas Paine, "Were man impressed as fully and as strongly as he ought to be with the belief of a God, his moral life would be regulated by the force of that belief; he would stand in awe of God and of himself, and would not do the thing that could not be concealed from either. To give this belief the full opportunity of force, it is necessary that it acts alone. This is Deism. But when, according to the Christian Trinitarian scheme, one part of God is represented by a dying man, and another part, called the Holy Ghost, by a flying pigeon, it is impossible that belief can attach itself to such wild conceits. . . .

"The study of theology, as it stands in the Christian churches, is the study of nothing; it is founded on nothing; it rests on no principles; it proceeds by no authorities; it has no data; it can demonstrate nothing; and it admits of no conclusion. Not anything can be studied as a science, without our being in possession of the principles upon which it is founded; and as this is not the case with Christian theology, it is therefore the study of nothing.

"Instead then of studying theology, as is now done out of the Bible and Testament, the meanings of which books are always controverted and the authenticity of which is disproved, it is necessary that we refer to the Bible of the Creation. The principles we discover there are eternal and of divine origin; they are the foundation of all the science that exists in the world, and must be the foundation of theology.

"We can know God only through His works. We cannot have a conception of any one attribute but by following some principle that leads to it. We have only a confused idea of His power, if we have not the means of comprehending something of its immensity. We can have no idea of His wisdom, but by knowing the order and manner in which it acts. The principles of science lead to this knowledge; for the Creator of man is the Creator of science, and it is through that medium that man can see God, as it were, face to face."

On May 12, 1797 while living in Paris, France Tom Paine wrote the following letter to a Christian friend who was trying to convert Paine to Christianity. Paine's response fits perfectly with this page regarding the origins of the Bible.

"In your letter of the twentieth of March, you give me several quotations from the Bible, which you call the Word of God, to show me that my opinions on religion are wrong, and I could give you as many, from the same book to show that yours are not right; consequently, then, the Bible decides nothing, because it decides any way, and every way, one chooses to make it.

"But by what authority do you call the Bible the Word of God? for this is the first point to be settled. It is not your calling it so that makes it so, any more than the Mahometans calling the Koran the Word of God makes the Koran to be so. The Popish Councils of Nice and Laodicea, about 350 years after the time the person called Jesus Christ is said to have lived, voted the books that now compose what is called the New Testament to be the Word of God. This was done by yeas and nays, as we now vote a law.

"The Pharisees of the second temple, after the Jews returned from captivity in Babylon, did the same by the books that now compose the Old Testament, and this is all the authority there is, which to me is no authority at all. I am as capable of judging for myself as they were, and I think more so, because, as they made a living by their religion, they had a self-interest in the vote they gave.

"You may have an opinion that a man is inspired, but you cannot prove it, nor can you have any proof of it yourself, because you cannot see into his mind in order to know how he comes by his thoughts; and the same is the case with the word revelation. There can be no evidence of such a thing, for you can no more prove revelation than you can prove what another man dreams of, neither can he prove it himself.

"It is often said in the Bible that God spake unto Moses, but how do you know that God spake unto Moses? Because, you will say, the Bible says so. The Koran says, that God spake unto Mahomet, do you believe that too? No.

"Why not? Because, you will say, you do not believe it; and so because you do, and because you don't is all the reason you can give for believing or disbelieving except that you will say that Mahomet was an impostor. And how do you know Moses was not an impostor?

"For my own part, I believe that all are impostors who pretend to hold verbal communication with the Deity. It is the way by which the world has been imposed upon; but if you think otherwise you have the same right to your opinion that I have to mine, and must answer for it in the same manner. But all this does not settle the point, whether the Bible be the Word of God, or not. It is therefore necessary to go a step further. The case then is: -

"You form your opinion of God from the account given of Him in the Bible; and I form my opinion of the Bible from the wisdom and goodness of God manifested in the structure of the universe, and in all works of creation. The result in these two cases will be, that you, by taking the Bible for your standard, will have a bad opinion of God; and I, by taking God for my standard, shall have a bad opinion of the Bible.

"The Bible represents God to be a changeable, passionate, vindictive being; making a world and then drowning it, afterwards repenting of what he had done, and promising not to do so again. Setting one nation to cut the throats of another, and stopping the course of the sun till the butchery should be done. But the works of God in the creation preach to us another doctrine. In that vast volume we see nothing to give us the idea of a changeable, passionate, vindictive God; everything we there behold impresses us with a contrary idea - that of unchangeableness and of eternal order, harmony, and goodness.

"The sun and the seasons return at their appointed time, and everything in the creation claims that God is unchangeable. Now, which am I to believe, a book that any impostor might make and call the Word of God, or the creation itself which none but an Almighty Power could make? For the Bible says one thing, and the creation says the contrary. The Bible represents God with all the passions of a mortal, and the creation proclaims him with all the attributes of a God.

"It is from the Bible that man has learned cruelty, rapine, and murder; for the belief of a cruel God makes a cruel man. That bloodthirsty man, called the prophet Samuel, makes God to say, (I Sam. xv. 3) `Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not, but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass.'

"That Samuel or some other impostor might say this, is what, at this distance of time, can neither be proved nor disproved, but in my opinion it is blasphemy to say, or to believe, that God said it. All our ideas of the justice and goodness of God revolt at the impious cruelty of the Bible. It is not a God, just and good, but a devil, under the name of God, that the Bible describes.

"What makes this pretended order to destroy the Amalekites appear the worse, is the reason given for it. The Amalekites, four hundred years before, according to the account in Exodus xvii. (but which has the appearance of fable from the magical account it gives of Moses holding up his hands), had opposed the Israelites coming into their country, and this the Amalekites had a right to do, because the Israelites were the invaders, as the Spaniards were the invaders of Mexico. This opposition by the Amalekites, at that time, is given as a reason, that the men, women, infants and sucklings, sheep and oxen, camels and asses, that were born four hundred years afterward, should be put to death; and to complete the horror, Samuel hew

Been away from This topic for a while & just re-stumbled upon it. To address some posts since:

"The Rev" was correct. Again we are faced with linguistic pride & stubborness. Under primary discussion was what's in a name & once again those who do not want to hear the truth take the infantile approach of covering their ears, and repeating their doctrinal mantra. It's the old mindset; "What I accept to believe, is the only acceptable belief." Thoughout history war has reigned happily, innocents slaughtered, & entire cultures irrevocably erased over such trivial pig-headed ignorances. And to the victor goes the spoils and the right to rewrite history.

The man known as Jesus was first & foremost, a Jew. When a culture is dislocated from their homelands it is tradition for families to maintain their culture while adopting to their new communities. The Jews were particularly insistant in this and educated their children in speading, reading, & writing the Hebrew language. Without which, they would have been unable to understand their own religious text. Which is why it still survives some 2050 years after the final fall of Jerusalem to the Romans. His Hebrew birth name was "Yeshua", in the Aramaic community this became "Ieshua", in the Latin it is translated as "Jeshua or Joshua", in the Greek transliteration of the Jewish & Aramaic writings his name become "Jesus".

Yes, technically "Amen" was identified as a translation for one of the KMT hieroglyphs, But that is only based on linking that hierogylphic symbol to the common Egyptian language used to refer to it at a later date via linguistical "reverse engineering" provided by the Rossetta Stone. We have no idea how that particular symbol would have been written in long-form or how it would have been pronounced at the time of it's first use. Which is why I referred to it's common usage dating to circa the 4rth dynasty. As noted above it could have been any of the following consonent-vowel combinations; "Amen", "Amon", "Amun", "Amin", "Amown", "Mn", "Man", Men", "Min", "Mon", or something altogether different.

"Daemon" is a Chaldean word which can best be translated as; "Those who descended from above" and reads much like 20th century science fiction. As i stated previously, the Chaldeans were a Semetic race closely related by their cultural roots to what would become the Hebrews, and others of that region. The word Daemon existed in their priestly writings in reference to heavenly emmissaries (angels?) that came to earth to teach their ancesters the secrets of fire, agriculture, writing, mathematics, a monothesiastic religion, ceremonial burial, & law-making. The very basics of civilization.

Yet it seems other forces did not approve of such tampering with a primative society (to coach it in "Star Trek" terms; it violated the "Prime Directive"). Great battles could be seen from the Earth's surface as war was waged in the heavens. Daemon visitations waned.

In comparative theology; we find similar narrative in "The Watchers" stories from the "Book of Enoch", which is referenced repeatedly in the Torah, yet which was unexplainably heavily edited out and appears in only a few passages concerning "The Nephilim", which Christianity & some Jewish sects mistakenly transliterated as "Giants of Old". In Christian doctrine, this associated the Nephilim on one hand; with Satan & the fallen angels & on the other hand; with the likes of Golliath & his breed whom fought alongside the Philistines.

So how did "Daemons" become "Demons"?

In ancient times, where every community had their own Gods, fetishes, and/or rites, when one culture defeated another there were a few ways of achieving harmonious co-existance:

1) To eliminate rebellion & nurture a more powerful nation that could continue conquests:

- a) The gods and belief systems were homogenized into an even more powerful hybrid god & rituals.

- b) The "new" god(s) were absorbed into a pantheon.

2) If the conquering force was vastly superior, the God(s)and rituals of the defeated were outlawed and eliminated through crossbreeding.

3) As for those enemies who were unconquerable due to near equality of the capability of waging war, the long-standing tradition of "The God(s) of my enemies is/are a(n) anti-God(s) of my people." kicks in:

- a) The enemy's God(s) is declared a Devil

- b) The God(s)' angels are declared evil minions set on corrupting our people.

- c) Anyone caught (or accused of) practicing religious rites or invocations of the enemy's diety or it's minions is guilty of the capital crime of heresey, punishable by death.

- d) Anyone caught (or accused of) fraternizing with the enemy, to include engaging in merchantile business ventures is guilty of the capital crime of treason, also punishable by death.

- e) Any enemy citizens caught within our territories, regardless of age or sex, is guilty of the capital crime of spying, also punishable by death.

Due to separate evolution, the Hebrew religion & dogma developed along different lines from that of the Chaldeans. Irreconceivable differences developed & the Chaldeans began to be viewed as enemies. This is very similar to the vaste rift between Catholicism & Protestants. When the Greeks, became enamoured with Jewish legends & mythologies, "Daemons" became "Demons".

Many are ignorant of the roots of the traditions, doctrine, & dogma of their religions. I noticed the word Messiah used. Do you even know what that word means? It is generally accepted to translate out to "The Anointed One". In other words "a king" as it was traditional that all kings were ritually annointed under the rites of their god. The name comes from the Egyptian word "Messah" & was the name for an oil reduced from the fat of crocodiles which symbolically, when applied to a man, would presumably transfer to them the croc's strength & sexual prowess. So the concept of a Messiah is that of a virilent warrior king who would overcome all adversaries. This may help to explain in part to Christians why Jews universally accept that Jesus was indeed a very holy man & rabbi, yet failed to meet the criteria contained within the texts of THEIR prophecies. Muslims have a simular opinion of Jesus. Don't get me wrong, it is indeed possible that the entity so named Jesus might return and fulfill ALL prophecies. Yet having studied them myself I must admit that they were certainly not fulfilled during the first coming. Despite Saul of Tarsus' attribution & incorporation of Isaiah's prophecies in his writings, he failed to include a great many others. And yes I've seen the Christian claims of all the prophecies Jesus was said to have fulfilled, yet one needs to understand that list bears little resemblance to those written prior to Jesus' birth. In fact, it was composed by the Christian church around the 5th century to refute Jewish claims.

Sorry but the use of the word "Amen" predates Arimathea by centuries. It's not uncommon for later cultures to adopt & incorporate words not found in their language, much like the brand name for Coca-cola in French is "un Coca-cola".

Similar mythologies in other cultures of that time include; 1) The Egyptian stories about Thoth, 2) The Greek story of Prometheus & his punishment for teaching the secret of fire to mankind, 3) & the legends of the Titans (amongst others). The notion of Heavenly visitation contimued through the ages. Today in the "New Age", we still find reports of otherworldly paranormal activities in UFO sightings, crop circles & first person "contactee" reports. Most of these are not viewed as miracles or visions as they would have been in ancient times. Instead it is suggested that these people are either lying or "mentally-challenged" & a policy of ridicule is initiated.

To my knowledge, the only modern recent event to be given any serious world-wide attention & accepted as a miracle was that of "Our Lady of Fatima", which was initially suppressed by the fascist local government. As it's message was highly supportive of Catholicism, it was accepted by the Vatican.

hyksos  6 years ago

The reason we use the word Amen at the end of our prayers is because the Jews were the "Hyksos" aka the Shepard Kings of the 13th dynasty in Egypt they were Caucasian foreign rulers who rulled Egypt from the 13th dynasty until they were driven out by the black natural born egyptians in the 15th dynasty. The number 13 in numerology stands for rebellion. 13 colonies rebelled against the King of England being led by the early masonic leaders of the US. The forefathers.

If you believe the bible stories you will be believing a lie a billions do that was perpetrated by the Jews Hyksos to rule the world. Which they have done quite well by controlling all the world on 3 planes. religion , finance , miliraty . the jews are 3 people they have they're own nation, Israel. they're own religion judiasim , & they have they're own ethnicity. Not all jews are religious but all work toward the same goal of controlling the world. Thus they are not one group but many 333 x 2 = 666 They have created all the worlds religions including Christianity, Judiasim, Islam, Mormons & Jehovas witness . The latter two through the Masons.the masons were created by the Jews.aka the Hyksos. The hyksos were the worlds first terrorists. They burned egypt from within & while the egyptians slept killed the 1st born of all the household of egypt. Which would be eask to do considering they were living in the same household as servants.

They re wrote the bible several times & translated it into different languages then destroying the original text as to refine prophetic events & make them look more real. The last time was by the Masorites in 800 AD.

They worshiped the sun god in egypt & still worship him today. As can be seen by the pyramids & all the refrences to the numbers 3, 13, 33,

consider this

solomon rulled Israel for 33 years

his temple stood for 33 years

Jesus was 33 at crucifixtion

the bible is 66 books 33 x 2= 66

Interesting comments and article which I have included in my article on my blob. I wanted to add that the name Amen is not in Genesis or Exodus of the OT in KJV.

If you do a search on line bible of the word seems to be associated with a curse quite often! In Numbers 5:11-31 (King James Version) if a woman was suspected of sleeping with someone and causing jealousy. But of course it doesn't include a man going through the same ordeal which they use the name of the LORD , as if he said it. Why in the world would this curse be only for a woman and not a man if it were God that inspired this solution. This was inspired by Priests and not my opinion.

Then Deuteronomy has many of the curses that end with Amen

15Cursed be the man that maketh any graven or molten image, an abomination unto the LORD, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and putteth it in a secret place. And all the people shall answer and say, Amen.

16Cursed be he that setteth light by his father or his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen.

17Cursed be he that removeth his neighbour's landmark. And all the people shall say, Amen.

18Cursed be he that maketh the blind to wander out of the way. And all the people shall say, Amen.

19Cursed be he that perverteth the judgment of the stranger, fatherless, and widow. And all the people shall say, Amen.

20Cursed be he that lieth with his father's wife; because he uncovereth his father's skirt. And all the people shall say, Amen.

21Cursed be he that lieth with any manner of beast. And all the people shall say, Amen.

22Cursed be he that lieth with his sister, the daughter of his father, or the daughter of his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen.

23Cursed be he that lieth with his mother in law. And all the people shall say, Amen.

24Cursed be he that smiteth his neighbour secretly. And all the people shall say, Amen.

25Cursed be he that taketh reward to slay an innocent person. And all the people shall say, Amen.

26Cursed be he that confirmeth not all the words of this law to do them. And all the people shall say, Amen.

I think this stuff was added by someone not in their right mind. That is my opinion!

Umm, most aspects of Christianity have been evolved from much earlier religions.

it's an evolution thats been going on for thousands of years.

you want to remove amen? u be wanting to remove most of the holidays, most of the churches in england because half of them were built on 'pagan sacred ground'.

it's the of the roman catholic church to absorb culture.

this is why the bible is full of errors and is only good for children.

I have to say that those who are educating the rest with HISTORICAL info. REALLY have it. I am actually reading about the Egyptian pharaoh Akhenaten and he was the son of AMENhotep III. His father was deified during his reign and Akhenaten, during his reign, declared a religion based on a MORE monotheistic religion- but it was NOT truly monotheisitc. Amenhotep III was identified with the sun's disk, Aten, that gave all life. The story of creation is as follows: The creator god, Atum, "gave birth to" or seperated from his son, Shu, who seperated from his twin sister, Tefnut. Amenhotep's ruling was known as the Amen (the hidden one) age, Amen-Ra being as his father and him being the sun's rays(Atem)- when Akhenaten ruled, he changed the religion to the Aten, based on their sun gods and his father being the sun gods rays... if you want to know more, read HISTORY books, NOT religious books. We all know that MAN wrote the bible and so it is fallable. If we today were to begin to write a book based on our dreams, legends, and stories of old, we would be told we were liars, dreamers, and wrong. Our work would be questioned and denied...and if we tried to write it over THOUSANDS of years and with many generations, and with mainly men writing it, there would be more laughter and denial= and rightly so. ESPECIALLY if the future writers swore it to be truth. Of course, if we wrote that it was wrong to question- wrong to deny, to ask certain questions, maybe we would be able to fool people too.The history of the bible is diluted at best, and only full of MORAL stories. One thing is for matter what religion one wants to believe in or hold on to- god does NOT need wood nor metal, walls nor roofs to teach to us what is truly good. god is in us, around us, because of us, and we are god. The energy we share is proof enough. When looking back through history one will find that most of what is believed to be god's doings and what is based on a christian belief (ex: Christmas, Sunday), was put in play by the church or a king to undermine, destroy, deny, and hide things. If more religious people Really looked at what is obvious and based on HISTORIC FACT, they could see how much of what is force-fed to them is a lie or misconstrued

Amen is both an English and Greek transliteration from the Hebrew 'amen'. The meaning is "so be it,","truth" or "surely." The Hebrew root word from which it is drawn ('aman') means "be faithful; be trustworthy."

So when someone says amen at the end of a prayer what they are saying is so be it, as in I agree with what was said in the prayer.

All I was looking for was a correlation between the meaning of the word and the Egyptian god. Why there is one word with two meanings that contradict themselves. For those of you who stayed on track with the subject at hand, you didn't even point out the Hebrew meaning; instead any germane comments focused on where the sun god amun derived from and how to spell its name. Please I would like some intellectual enlightenment.

There is no word needed at the end of your prayers to validate them before the father, son or holy spirit. Your heart is already known. Truth and Love are all that need be given with your words, Faith will deliver them for you....sacrifice yourself and be rewarded with what you walk away with. We must never give up we must die trying. If you want to get closer to god put your heart there and as the saying goes if your heart is in the right will get there will you not, maybe faster than you think.

In your name i pray 5 years ago

We must bear ourselves as Jesus bore the cross. We must do this to honour Gods sacrifice to us. Be true to what you are. You are a being of love and truth above all else this is what you are. You know this to be true within your heart. No matter how long you fight this it shall remain. When you are kind, loving and truthfull toward all things you swell up inside with a feeling of greatness and when you do the opposite you not only know it is wrong because you feel it is you feel a plethora of harmfull things like guilt, regret, doubt, even pain to name a few. These feelings are destructive to yourself and all else. However when you are kind, loving and truthfull you feel a constuctive force that starts to build you up higher and higher affecting all else. If we were to be kind, loving and truthfull we would find a happiness our reality cannot comprehend as we currently exist. It is our nature to be kind loving and truthfull it is the key to the locked doors the end of pain and suffering for an entire planet and it is simple the truth always is right in front of you, under your nose, within you is the light in which we were created and in which we must stand in to be seen by god

Like the Hebrews, the ancient Egyptians didn't use vowels to spell except at the beginning or end of a word. Amun Amen or Amon are all accepted spellings.

By the way. The word God comes from early germanic and was neuter so refers to both male and female deities. It's best not to get hung up on words. It's the intention in our hearts that matters. Didn't St Paul say " The letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

hi .. I'm Egyptian .. nice discussion but i wanted to ask something .. can anyone speak the old Egyptian language ? may be Amun sounded differently

John Suarez 5 years ago

As a priest of "Amen," the word itself has never had anything to do with "evil." History, "actual" history, not Hebrew mumbo-jumbo teaches us that within the ancient Egyptian language, the name of the Lord of Creation could have been pronounced in many different ways depending on the "dynasty" to which it is attached. To say that it is "Amun" and not "Amen" is like saying Adonai is not Jehovah or Yahweh of which in retrospect, the God of the Hebrews had many names depending on the era to which you refer to. Evil attributed to the Gods of ancient Egypt comes from "prejudice" by peoples subject to their rule over them and has no bearing upon actual "fact." Egyptians were well known to accept foreigners into their country and loved to share what they had. In the end, it lead to their demise by those who were "truly" evil. As for the Lord's prayer to which Jesus or "Yeshua bin Amen" referred to, he did end it with the name of the Lord of Egyptian faith, to wit only an intelligent person would recognize it. A wise person would also recognize that much of what Jesus taught comes out of the compiliation Ani wrote around 1240 b.c. now called the "Book of the Dead." If you SEEK as Jesus stated, you will find his wisdom within this book and not the books of the Israelites. If there is evil to be recognized study your history to SEE who the ancient Hebrews were before being held as slaves to Egypt for alittle over 250 years (not 430 as written in Hebrew script) THEY were the conquered who ruled Egypt for 108 years. A peoples ancient history refers to as the "Hyksos." A mean and ruthless peoples who would kill not just their enemies but the old, and children as well. History records the very same behaviors of the ancient "HEBREWS." To date most of us who are not Jewish are referred to as "gentiles" or NOT the peoples of their GOD. From it's own ruthlessness, who would want to be, ANYWAY?

the god amen is the the king of the gods and he is the father of RA the Egyptian god but the Egyptian used to say the father name first then the son name, "Amen RA"

at the end of evrey pryr the egyption use to say "O'Amen" O'Amen which makes it clear whay we say amen in a high long soud at the start of the word A^men, due to the hebrow acssent. and ferther more the word have been taken from the egyption first and the Jews started using it then the Christians then the muslims whithout qustioning it at all, like priests they first started by the Egyptians then the Christians took that from them, and that way u are not allowed to quastion any thing pepole just take things without looking at it and ask why is it there.

all religions have effecting each other one way or the other.. so if u believe in god I say don't used it, and another thing why u need to say amen if u it is not the name of god, explain that

My friends Our God can't be named, We here name ourselves, and the animals. Amen has been sungod in Egipt, and the Egyptian pharaohs

worshiped that sungod. The Holy Roman Empire worshiped that sungod, and in today days the Royalty - the Holy Roman Church, - and the American billionaires are worshiping that sungod. Ask yourselves why in the jewish torah the 7 day of the week is "saturday" - the day for worshiping GOD, --- and in our society (SUN)DAY is the 7th day of the week, and the catholics, royalty, and the world leaders are worshiping God on (SUN)DAY.???????

Truth vs Faith & Belief 5 years ago

Amun was worshipped in the 4th nome of Upper Egipt called Karnak or Waset which is Nubia or Sudan today. At this time he was a fertility deity. In time he replaced Montu the deity of war. Amun was represented as a human with a rams head or a ram wearing a triple crown. The europeans started the Ram Cult using a Ram or Goat, from the masonic order they started using Baphomet, which is french for Mohemed (Muhammad) "one who is worthy of praise". They worship the Ram or Goat head as the 5 pointed star which is the Pentagram, Egiptian star, Pentagon which is the Seat of War. Matt 2:2 refers to Jesus as the Star coming out of the East (Eastern Star).

In time Amun became a deity of agriculture. He became popular with the Pharoahs and as a result of their influence he became a sun deity. As his power spread the priests proclaimed him Creator of the Universe, Master of Time. He became a more powerful manifestation of the sun deity RA or RE and became Amun RA.

Amun who is called Amen, Amon Nui, Ameen, Al Mumin is still worshipped today by jews, christians and muslims alike. All their prayers end with his name which means "faith" or "faithful one". Rev 3:14 'These things saith The Amen, THE FAITHFUL and true witness, the beginning of the creation of deity'. The root of the name is AMN from this you get Amun, Amen as the supreme being. He was considered an abstract entity over all the Egiptian deities even RA himself, all being different manifestations of Amun. He was the deity "who resides in all things"

Judaism, Christianity and Islaam are all rooted from the Egiptian "mystery" system. This is why all the major prophets lived and studied in Egipt. They teach you not to study Egipt because you will see the true roots of these religions.

People are posting that Gods name is this or that, Why would God have a name? WHO would have named him? For what purpose? If God had a name then he would be at your command ie if your name is Jack and i call out "Jack" then i am commanding your attention. God is not at our commands but rather it should or would be us at his command. Believe what you will but the reality is that you exist, the planet exists, the sun exists and they are created by the nature of nature which is existence. Prove that there is a man who is EVERYWHERE but lives IN (inside, confined) heaven?? and tests you even though he knows the result BEFORE he tests you....what would be the purpose???? who said that this god is not the god of the jews god never sid he was not pagan and the word pagan means farmer it is not a religious statement. No one can go to the father except through the sun. the pagan god was the sun god.jesus also says not to pray like the hethen and to say that pray now the bible got jesus words worng when he said to pray that way. It seems to me that all religious people try to use the bible to back up wrongs and if you have to check then you propableknow that you our wrongso is the bible true are is it not the truth is nobody knows.who is to say that the god of iseral was not a pagan god and since the god of iserila came out of egypt then it only make since that he would be an egyption god. He only named himself the god of jerusluim after they created jeruslum not before. do you not think that the bible say that gods sons found the women of earth to be fair and came down and mated with, how can there not be more then one god if he had sons and that is in the old testiment during the creation of the world. It also says god created the heavens and the earth and everyhting in them thy lord thy god does not come in until the garden of eden which after he cast adam out were did his son get there wifes did they marry there sister oh god must have made more people and forgot to mention it in the bible. sounds like to me brothers and sisters were just fighting like they often d god clear states there is more then one in the bible and they were called his sons and this was long before jesus. so ,does that not make more then one god. It would have to be god and his sons unless of course the bible is completely wrong and how would god make his sons i guess he would have to have a mother.Like mother marrty. I was told a story omnce about two gods that were marrioed one god cheated on the other god and thiscreated a war in, maybe all the other gods were gods sons. and you can read the story of creation and it sould back up this belief as all people try to back up all beliefs with the bible. so, if you don't say Amen according to the bible you are hipocrite.Verliy verliy I say unto you do not pray like the hipocrates in the synogoes who think the will be heard for there vain speech ,but prey you fathers who art in heavens pray. so, are you calling god a liar if so that kinda makes the bible void. It can not be truth if some of it is a lie. the only thing god said in that bible was the ten commandments and that is the only thing that came straight from the horse mouth and how can you have other gods before him if there is no other gods. What gods i thought there was none!!!

Yes, fully support about we must not use this pagan word. Before we open our mouth to pray, the Creator, Father in heavens, already knows what we wish and need. So, we don't need to end our prayer with this pagan word. This pagan word widely use in several religions including Christianity, Islam and Judaism.

Ah, Exodus 23:13, love that scripture. Since most of us here know that our Father's real name is Yahuwah and His Son's name is Yahushua, we should also know the "god" is actually the name of a babylonian deity of fortune, hence why it's on the U.S dollar bill. And "lord" means Ba'al.

If people really wanted to say "so be it" and regard it as some kind of act of faith, they could say "so be it"in whatever language they speak. Saying the name of the Egyptian god does seem strange. How is the prayer of a pagan Egyptian to Amen any different than the same words said by someone claiming to be a Christian? Did Moses end his prayers with the name of the Egyptian god Amen? Did Moses pray to Amen? Maybe this situation is adding to the Crisis in faith in the Catholic Church?

ra a pagan sun god was added to amen the hidden god the creator as a second deity. so ra is the light of the world the solar sun that the egyptians saw in nature through the sun rays and the life it brings. so they worshipped the creation and they fell into paganism and polytheism.

The fact of the matter is that, the name Amen also know as Jesus Christ, are false names.

The true name of the Almighty is Yehowah, and the true name of the Messiah is Yehowshuwa.

This is why all churches are false, they are indoctrinating everyone into worshiping Satan, the highest angel who is out to deceive everyone.

ro-jo-yo- i have been researching on this subject for quite some time and i have to agree with you. Wh at is funny about this is people continue to hold on to their beliefs irregardless of the evidence or facts to the contrary. 5 minutes of research will point you in the right direction, just search for amen on wikipedia in the 7th paragraph it clearly states the belief that amen is in reverence to the egyptian god amun. Opposers to this belief will claim that the egyptian god's name is amun NOT amen, but another 5 minutes of research will disprove that. search wikipedia for amenhotep it definition clearly states: Amenhotep (?mn-?tp; “Amun is pleased”) was an ancient Egyptian name so if amen-hotep means amun is pleased it is obvious that amen is associated with the pagan god of the egyptions. What 99% of christian people do not understand is the meaning of transliteration, and the FACT that the ancient greek scribes changed the name of Yehowshuwa to Iesus or jesus in the bible. So if we know for a FACT that the bible has been tampered with is it not possible other name wer omitted, changed or added hence the "Amen". One other FACT is amen is a name that is why in the bible it is capitalized because it is a proper noun, if it truly meant: "So be it; truly" it would not be capitalized. ALL followers of the 1 true creator i ask to to look into this matter it is of utmost importance. Are we all giving power to a false god when we pray? If amen means truly then lets stop saying amen and at the end of our prayer simply say true. or truly. People all know and understand lucifer can and will decive the world, the problem with today's christians is they think we are somehow winning the war against evil, but if we open our eyes we start to realize that we are actually getting out butts handed to us. Knowledge is power and once we open our eyes we can make the changes necessary to free ourselves from the bonds of our slave masters.

If people would just do research, You would see that the Letter J only been around for a little over 500years. That means the letter J? did not exist in Biblical times. So that mean there? were no Jews or Jewish or Judaism or Jesus or Jehovah. These words were not translated from Hebrew. The Hebrew language don't have the Letter J at all. The letter J was created by the Pagan Greeks in the mid 1400's and Added to the Spanish and English language around the 1600's. Jesus? is a? miss translation. Jesus was derived from the Pagan God Zeus, and pronounced Hey Zeus in Greek. The same way Spanish people say Jesus but the J is silent making it sound? just like Hey-zeus. The true son of God is Yeshua and he had no translations in any language at all. All other names claiming to be that of the Messiah is a? fraud.

Exodus 20:2

I, Yehowah, thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

Playajay 4 years ago

Exodus didn't happen according to Dr Ben and Dr John Henrik Clarke.(Pan-Africanist American writer, historian, professor, and a pioneer in the creation of Africana studies and professional institutions in academia starting in the late 1960s) All Belief systems started in Kemet/Egypt without labels. The Torah, the Qur'an, And the Christian Bible are all just carbon copys of what's on the pyramid walls. They also Believe that the Black woman is God. In other words, They believe in a God and Goddess. It's funny how every story the bible speaks of is on the wall in Hieroglyphs. Even the story of Adam and Eve are on the wall. Religion was put in place to enslave and control and Divide the world and to degrade women. African people had Spirituality and was very tight with the most high. Outsiders came in took what we had, changed it around to fit them and sold it back to us just before the European slave trade. Before then, the Arabs did the same thing with Islam. European and Arab Imperialism. The pope funded slavery with the money they got from Christianity and gave us a Jesus which don't exist. The letter J didn't exist before the 1400's and the name Jesus was created by the Greeks in 1565. Before then, the called the virgin Mary the Black Madonna and change them white so we could look at the white Jesus as a savor in turn, we would look at the white man as a savor figure. Also, the ship that brought us to America was called the good ship Jesus. So to those who call on the name of Jesus is calling on the name of a slave ship which belong to King James who wrote his own bible with the help of William Shakespeare (they were lovers) and he wrote a book on Demonology. Just reading the post above, you all have a lot of reading to do. Quit believing everything someone tell you and do your own research and you will be shocked at what you find out. White people of the past have been tricking us dearly. There are 1500 different denominations of Christianity and so many different Christian bibles. Why so many?

Your not implying the difference between a finite language like English, and a metaphoric language. English is based on Focus and Attention, the latter is based on Emotions and Feelings, the basic difference between languages that come from melanin and non-melanin people.

For example your trying to explain Amun as something finite, when its true purpose is to express a feeling. Like for example if I were to say "when they put Jesus on the cross" for some of us it brings up finite information, why, when, where, how - for others it brings up an emotion/feeling as courage, hope, etc.

If your geeky, a really good example is star trek generations- Darmok

Picard and Dathon at El-Adrel!! myth and legend, placed in modern day lore.

Just something to think about, but isn't it said praise be to our Lord "AND" Savior Jesus Christ, implying that its two not one. Its often said that El- Shaddai (Shaddai" is translated as "the God of heaven.") is one of the LORDS. What's the difference between a pagan god and a lord?

Usually the lords follow lawful good directed or redirected from the Most High, The All, The Creator, "That What Was, That Is, and Will Be". While pagan gods are Chaotic, or through chaos and conflict they exist, and some would say ultimately grow.

As the Swiss psychologist Carl Jung pointed out.. there is no clear evidence the God the Father of the New Testament is in any way related to Jehova of the Old Testament... Jehova, however you wish to spell it, was one of many gods of desert people in the middle east 2 to 3 thousand years ago. The New Testament was intended to replace/cancel the Old Testament... people make up so many things and then get overly emotional about what they make up...

Mark 12 ...Which is the first commandment of all? 29 And Yehowshuwa answered him, The first of all the commandments is, (Hear , O Israel; YEHOWAH our God is one YEHOWAH: 30 And thou shalt love YEHOWAH thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength): this is the first commandment. 31 And the second is like, namely this , Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. 32 And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he: 33 And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices. 34 And when YEHOWSHUWA saw that he answered discreetly, he said unto him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God.

In the above verse, in the first commandment the Messiah quoted the Old Testament. Deuteronomy 6:4 where it has his father's name written in the Hebrew scripts, the Torah, replaced by the word LORD in most translations.

Deuteronomy 4 (Hear , O Israel: YEHOWAH our God is one YEHOWAH: 5 And thou shalt love YEHOWAH thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might). 6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: 7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down , and when thou risest up

The name Jehovah in a corrupt German translation of the true Hebrew name YEHOWAH.

Y'all need to pick up this book: The Moses Mystery: The Egyptian Origins of the Jewish People

Where is the historical evidence for ancient Israel's Exodus from Egypt?

Sure to cause controversy in both academic and religious circles, The Moses Mystery examines the troubling question of why ancient Israel has no archaeological or documentary presence prior to and just after the Exodus from Egypt and challenges the conventional wisdom on the origins of the pre-Exodus Bible stories.

Although the bible says that Israel’s formative history took place in ancient Egypt, biblical scholars and Egyptologists have steadfastly refused to explore the role of Egyptian history and literature on the origins of Jewish religion. Greenberg attempts to set the record straight. Marshaling an astounding amount of research in the fields of biblical archaeology and Egyptian history, literature, and mythology, Greenberg shows that the first Israelites were native Egyptians and that the history of Israel before the Exodus is based almost entirely on Egyptian mythology.

Some of the many intriguing revelations in The Moses Mystery include

● The Twelve Tribes of Israel never existed.

● Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob were characters from Egyptian mythology. The biblical story of Jacob and Esau, for example, draws together several myths about the Egyptian gods Horus and Set (the feuding twin brothers who fought even in their mother's womb) and weaves them into a story about biblical patriarchs.

● The first Israelites were Egyptians, followers of Pharaoh Akhenaten, whose attempts to introduce monotheism into Egypt engendered rage among the religious establishment.

● Moses served as chief priest in Akhenaten's cult and, after Akhenaten's death, had to flee Egypt to avoid execution.

● Pharaoh Horemheb waged a bitter campaign to eradicate all vestiges of Akhenaten's heresy, eliminating the evidence stone by stone and word by word. As a result, Akhenaten remained lost to history until nineteenth-century Egyptologists discovered the ruins of his capital city.

● When Horemheb died, Moses returned to Egypt, united his followers with other enemies of Egypt, and attempted to seize the throne from Ramesses I. The coup failed, but to avoid a civil war Moses and his allies were allowed sale passage out of Egypt. This was the real Exodus.

● After entering Canaan, the Egyptian followers of Moses formed military alliances with local Canaanite kings and with some of the recently arrived Greek invaders known as the Sea Peoples. This nontribal alliance of small kingdoms and city-states became biblical Israel.

Deep Sh*t here. I must get this book pronto. I found out about this book from Bobby Hemmitt.

It's funny how black people try to separate themselves from Egypt/Kemet even Africa. We have alot to learn.

It states in the bible that the Hebrew people were slaves in Egypt. The Almighty brought the Hebrew people out from Egypt and gave them his name YEHOWAH to be remembered for all generations.

All Acadamic and religious circles are run by Satan, the Devil. To get any truth one must seek the Almighty Yehowah first.

The book that you suggest people to read, is not bringing people to the truth, it is another form of misinformation and indoctrination. All throughout history it is known that the Hebrew people worshiped one Almighty whose name had the Hebrew letters YHWH.

Joshua(Yehowshuwa) 24:14 Now therefore fear Yehowah, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye Yehowah.

The vowels were interchangeable in the ancient hebrew. It could be spelled "amen" "omun" "amun" "ohmun" "omen" and any other such vowel combination.

amen means "yes I agree" or "agreement" that I recall from my religious teachings over the years. Amun is the Egyptian God. Jrod is correct in the Hebrew language vowels are interchangeable both Rebekah and Rebecca are correct Hebrew spellings as well like with any language there are multiple ways of spelling several words and names.

If a person wants to say 'yes I agree' then that is what a person should say. They do not need to say the word amen, which sounds like the name of the Egyptian God, it is a transliteration not a translation. That is why it always starts with a capital A. It is purposely put there so that everyone who ends their prayer with it, is automatically dedicating it to Amen the Egyptian God without realizing this. We were given the true name of our Creator, our Father's name is Yehowah

Myrashines 4 years ago

The word AMEN is an ancient African word, meaning the hidden spirit among other names. It is not a semetic word nor did it derive from hebrews, because the hebrew alphabet is based off the constellation of the stars in which the Africans charted over thousands of years. And AMEN is a further south god, in the Ethiopia area. And the people of Nubia and Ethiopia migrated into the land of Egypt when the waters subsided so there no question of ethnicity of Egyptians... Even with the 10 commandments, Africans had the laws of Ma'at 42 laws before, there's the temple of Isis in France, and paris is named after Isis ( par- house, is or Isis ) paris - house of Isis , the creation story in genesis is taken from the creation story from the gods NUT, GEB and SHU... there are a whole host of works taken from Egypt... it shouldn't be too surprising when Africa has the oldest spiritual works, of course others used them as the years passed on.

Revelation 3:14 is another example where the word 'Amen' is used as a name. We are not to make mention the name of other gods.

Exodus 23:13

And in all things that I have said unto you be circumspect : and make no mention of the 'name of other gods', neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.

Joshua (Yehowshuwa) 23:7

That ye come not among these nations, these that remain among you; neither make mention of the 'name of their gods', nor cause to swear by them, neither serve them, nor bow yourselves unto them:

The true name of 'the only begotten son', the 'Messiah' is Yehowshuwa, he is the true and faithful witness, who witnessed his Father Yehowah create everything. See Proverbs 8:21

Satan was cast down here on Earth, out to deceive everyone,

.... Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish ; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved . 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

They have taken out the true name of the Almighty Yehowah and replaced it with the word LORD, they have also changed the true name of the Messiah Yehowshuwa and replaced it with Jesus. They have also added the name Amen so people end up dedicating their prayers to the Egyptian god Amen. They have also changed the word Messiah to Christ.

We are to discern what is right.

2 Timothy 2:15

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth

Romans 12:2

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

1 Thessalonians 5:21

Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

What does Paganism has to do with Satanism? If it is for Paganism embedded in Christianity there is much more to look for! December 25th, the "Christmas" tree (and Christmas altogether). What day is today Saturday or SATURN DAY, tomorrow is named after the Sun God or SUNDAY... same goes for the rest of the week and many months of the year. Does anybody here has a CHRONOMETER because if one doesn't want to use pagan names, well, chronometer is named after the god Cronus, better known as Father Time.

You can also forget about more than 60% of scientific terms, like arachnids, named after another crafty goddess. Why are "rivers" called such? Because of Goddess Rhea, which we also conjure up in things like gonorrhea... Geography comes from great Mother Gaia, or Mother Earth, which I'm sure you have the pleasure of meeting.

Lost souls? I wonder.

Paganism is Satanism because it leads people away from our true and only Creator Yehowah.

The bible clearly states that we are to worship our heavenly Father Yehowah only.

Deut 6:4...Hear , O Israel: YEHOWAH our God is one YEHOWAH: 5 And thou shalt love YEHOWAH thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. 6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: 7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down , and when thou risest up . 8 And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes. 9 And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.

And when the Messiah Yehowshuwa came, he stated that the greatest commanment is to love his Father Yehowah.

Mark 12:29 ...And YEHOWSHUWA answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear , O Israel; YEHOWAH our God is one YEHOWAH: 30 And thou shalt love YEHOWAH thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

Christianity and Paganism are the same, they both worship false gods, Christians worship a trinity and Jesus Christ (the true name of the Messiah is Yehowshuwa). And like pagans, they celebrate Christmas, which is a mass for 'the Christ', the Sun God, Satan. All Pagan rituals are from Satan.

There is only one true Creator, and his name is YEHOWAH.

1 Samuel 12: 24

Only fear YEHOWAH, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you.

Everything else is a lie, and Satan the devil is a liar, he is the father of lies. He is also a murderer.

Mark 12:43...Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot * hear my word. 44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do . He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. 45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

We are to seek the truth, because those who do not seek the truth, will end up believing a delusion and a lie.

See 2 Thessalonians 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

Unfounded and untrue. Anyone that takes the time to study WORLD RELIGIONS knows that Satanism is one thing and Paganism is another. It is not my wish, pleasure or purpose to discuss this topic with dead ended fanatics nor fundamentalists that take their perspective, view or beloved religion as THE ONE and only ALMIGHTY truth disregarding the humanity of the rest of the 5 billion human beings in this planet.

Before British settlers invaded and raided United States, way before the colonies were settled, indigenous tribes, the ORIGINAL AMERICANS that were in place from Canada all the way to the Patagonia, were Pagans, they adored many gods and had a high respect towards Nature. Are you saying they were worshiping the Devil? So how come they didn't burn the settlers at stake?

Self referenced Bible is a copycat for those that really care for a glimpse of truth. Search the Ebla tablets, from which Hebrews copied Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Genesis, Revelations and some other books. Plagiarism means stealing.

Search Ie Sous, the given name for which you properly refer to as "YEHOWSHUWA". Why was his ORIGINAL name stricken from the Bible and had HAIL ZEUS (the Greek meaning for Ie Sous or JESUS), because that was the only way they found to "sell" the Jews concept unto the Greek and consequently the Roman Empire. As implied or commented by another post above.

And finally, since you are citing Paul, why don't you go further unto Romans 14. Paul the most convenient gospel of all the Bible. The one that went to the Pagans and told them that that God that they cannot see was GOD... Truth? Please...

Your responses here lack love and mercy in any event, they are unwelcoming and reminds of the same spirit of those that nailed the same Christ you claim to worship with all your might to the Cross.

They lack empathy. Empathy has no religion, neither does Love nor Understanding, nor Morals, nor Values... which the Greeks and the Egyptians spoke off way before the Christians. To say that everything outside Christianity belongs to Satan is a lie. "Thou shall not lie" and do you know what Satanism is about? Seems like you also ignore the teachings of this religion, Satanism has nothing to do with evil.

Some words can kill worse than the devil you preach. Satanists preach both individualism and humility, more like an Illuminati. Of course, for you, all of these is thrashed as EVIL, so never mind. Last post, signing off. Romans 14 and be happy. Know that you can preach all you want but your interpersonal relations and your private lifestyle are going to show you the real fruits of your labor. Be Merry.

There is only one Creator and his name is Yehowah, we are to worship our Creator Yehowah with all our heart, mind and soul. This is also the message that the Messiah Yehowshuwa came to say, and all those who believe this message will have eternal life.

Everything else is a lie, including Christianity. Just like Pagans, Christians worship false gods, a trinity and Jesus Christ who is a false god. And Satanists worship Satan, the Devil, that Old Serpent, a false god. Pagans worship the Sun, a false god, and which the Aztecs sacrificed human beings to.

The bible states that Satan is a liar and a murderer from the beginning, so all these lies and false gods come from Satan the Devil. And all those who believe any of Satan's lies, because they LOVE NOT the truth, will perish, because they believed Satan, who is not only a liar but also a MURDERER.

I believe also that the Name Jesus Christ was a diversion in order to Mislead. Some women that I have seen within the Pentecostal Church their eyes are Glazed over It is good that we Know now YEHOWAH is the Creator and that YEHOWSHUWAH is the Son Of the Most Hi? I t is good to know that the protestant and the Catholic Churches are an abomination Now Explain to me Where can we Find Salvation. It says First seek ye the Kingdom of Heaven and all that ........ How can we Seek his Holy presence? Roman Catholic Church before it was called that Name Massacred Thousands of God Fearing Jews then put impostors in their. These so called Crusaders From England Did you Know that Jewish Maidens were Raped by these Sons Of Satan Where they were Placed under lock and Key after being Brought over from the Holy lands Are you aware that those Bastard Babies were to be taken from their Mothers where they were to be Brainwashed to become catholic Priests? Did you Know Devout Jews Came over to York England where They were to Bring Those Jews Back to the Living Almighty everlasting Father Those Jews were because they were having an influence over the Gentile population and also to Roman Catholic Jews Roman Catholic Fathers were to order their massacre. I tells you that a few hundred were Massacred. There were near on a thousand that were Massacred And you say all Jews say Amen? Those that were in the grasp of Pharisee and the Sadducee Occult were outcasts of The True living Majesty. John The baptist That's if that was His true Name Was in conflict with these Babylonian Priests?

Did you Know that These Priests of Babylon would Have their followers Drink from One Cup and that they were to drink the Blood of a lamb. If ever there was The drinking of wine and the Breaking of Bread It was only Those Eleven Men that should have got together in remembrance of the Messiah and not Congregations and when you hear some Priest say drink this the Blood of the Lamb The Lamb was not the Messiah. I suppose You will delete this also of what I have wrote Now Let me say to you That what we Know in part Is of no use to You or I Half a truth is of No Value to Anyone That King James Bible distorted not only the Name of the Mighty everlasting Father but was to Corrupt our Minds regarding the Virgin Miri not Mary Was Married to Joseph There was no Angel Gabriel The seed of David was passed through generations until Joseph It was he whom was the Seed of David where his seed was to be Given to Miri Yehoshuah was born he was not a supernatural being but of flesh and blood read Semiramis and see. She was a whore that would give birth to Nimrod where it was made out that Semiramis had had Gods seed implanted in her Nimrod was also called the Sun God Yehoshuah was the son of Man manifested to be the son of god

The reason your first comment was deleted is it was too lengthy and incomplete.

As for this comment, I again am not sure just what you are trying to say.

You ask where can we Find Salvation, the answer is in,

Deuteronomy 6: 4 and Mark 12: 29

Here, O Israel; Yehowah our God is one Yehowah: And thou shalt love Yehoway thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with thy mind and all thy strength.

This is Salvation

Now I see you have a hub account, maybe you should write your thoughts and findings in your own hub, as you seem to have much to say.

Never the less thank you for your comment.

You tell us that Jesus is an imposter I totally agree there are others that tell us that all Protestant and Catholic Churches are in no wise connected to the True Church of The Creator I agree! Therefore no one can find Salvation through these Churches? They Are facts of which Cannot can not deny II have seen miracles Within the church A O G and Elim Churches that were attributed to some supernatural power it tells us in the K J V that Many shall be able to use his name in order to Heal the sick, cast out demons and preach the Gospel but they are like ravenous wolves that will tear you apart? Not all who say Lord Lord shall enter into the Kingdom of heaven but those that do the will of my father and Keep his Commandments and he that breaks the least of those commandments Shall be called the Least within the Kingdom Of Heaven. Those that teach them to break those commandments for they too shall not enter. The Baptism of water that John did Was for the Jews They that believed were Forgiven of their Sin? The Greatest of those sins was to Worship false Gods? The Pharisee & Sadducee Priests were the Ones that The Messiah and John had Came to warn the Jews that by following Those Wolves in Sheep's Clothing that they were Heading for Hell Fire. I resent the fact that The dictionary would Make out that these fore mentioned priests was another Name for a Jew Hog wash? They were from the whore Of Babylon The Messiah was a Jew. And if you are Prepared to believe That the Messiah was Placed into the womb of Mary (Not her true name) By the creator Then You are Totally misled I know that The K J V is Corrupted I do not Need the internet to tell me that. But nevertheless There are hidden truths of which can be brought out The Messiah was From the seed of David. Bathsheba was to start of the genealogy where it was through her David passed on his seed Joseph was the seed of David which was thus to pass the seed through Mary What I think I think that Whatever I say to you on your hub is because You yourself Have had your Eyes misted over? Your Knowledge Me somewhat supercede over mine But you overlook facts of which when pointed out to you you chose to either ignore or your understanding is limited. This Messiah He said to his disciples. It is inevitable That false Priests May come among you and Take some of your Congregation from you! Therefore Do NOT Go and Try to bring them back for God did not want them in the first Place? What does that statement tell you? I as a Gentile am unworthy of God. I am like that woman who who asked The messiah to heal Her child? Is it fitting that dogs Should eat from off the Masters Table? I am not a Jew I wish I was for if I was I might Find Glory 144000 thousand 12000 out of every tribe of the 12 tribes of Israel. and only a remnant of Gentiles. Soon there will be a Great tribulation where all the world will be Covered in fire? The Messiah was not mincing words He spoke of the atrocities that will befall us. And before that day those that have received the Mark of that Holy Spirit The angels of God will take them into his Kingdom (those that were dead) The Messiah also said that on that day Pray ye that it is not on the Sabbath or in the winter? In another verse He said on that day when the time comes Many of the Disciples will be burning up: He tells them that on that day they must Bare the pain of after that they will be with him within Heaven. He mentions that the pains are like that of a woman giving birth to her Baby where she will squeal but after the child is born the woman will be full of Joy. But he also mentions that some who cannot endure the pain will curse the very name of god and for this their reward will be Hell fire? As for those False Churches and all those devout people within them. There will be no Salvation? people have been Programmed to accept a total Lie Satan Has manipulated all our Minds. We are all Fire Fodder. We are the Trees that do not bare good fruit we are the Chaff blowing in the wind? Look its quite Simple If you Belong to the wrong Church you Go to Hell? If you commit and Break any of those Commandments You go to Hell? there are not just Ten Commandments but there are many more than that. I am the Lord your god that rescued you from the land of Bondage and of slavery (the Jews) thou shalt have no other gods before me .................. Visiting the iniquity of the Fathers up onto the children of them that Hate me but showing Mercy unto Thousands of them that love me and Keep my commandments (Thousands Not Millions) The creator Knew what he was doing He knew what He was saying Those of us who have been exposed by the Whore of Babylon and all her Harlots Satan wants to build a Mighty army against The Divine Holy angels of god He wants to use us in the Front line to battle against all that is Good? evil may prevail upon earth But Satan no matter on how Bigger army he has to fight against god there will be no contest? I think that I have wrote enough for you to comment and then for you to delete from off your hub You can throw as much in your defense trying to get people to come from out of the Whore of Babylon People all believe that when Jesus was crucified that he died for all their sins and that he did away with the Commandments. Confess your sin to god in secret (do not confess your sin before man) I have not come in the world to destroy the law or the Prophecies I have not come to destroy but to fulfill) I know you will delete this hub because Its too long and also it would show you up among your followers Yehowah Truly is the God of the Jews and not of the World I wish he was mine but He is not I would have Given Anything to have been one that was called into his Kingdom But I know that he is Not He knows me Not I was not the Clay in his hand when he was to create Man in his own Image I was a creation of the Angels I am evil and perverse and therefore I shall die Yes Yehowah is the true God and if he wants me he can have me I have had no one to tell me that Amen was an Egyptian God No one told me that the Whore of Babylon had many harlots/ What did the Messiah say Before you take the Mote out from your Brothers Eye Take out the Plank that is in your own eye first then you will be able to see More clearly? I have taken the Plank out of My Eye And I can now see Clearly . You Breed of vipers you Compass the whole ocean to gain one prossilite and once you have converted his soul you make his soul twice as worse for entering the kingdom of heaven for you yourselves shall not enter. There are many roads that lead to death and destruction but only one way into the Kingdom of Heaven Here possibly is the first and the last lesson

The word Amen is in the New Testament 152 times. It is translated as 'verily' for 101 times and 51 times as 'Amen'. In Revelation 3:14 they inserted the word Amen as a name for the Messiah Yehowshuwa.

Yehowshuwa is the true and faithful witness, not 'Amen'.

The word Amen is a deliberate addition by the translators, a form of subtle brainwashing to get people to think nothing of saying the Egyptian false god's name. This is done so that people will believe a delsusion and a lie and end up worshiping Satan instead of our true Creator Yehowah.

Dave 3 years ago

JUST LOVE ONE ANOTHER, why is it so hard? JUST love!! Why argue about what the translations might say, when we could be just loving each other better!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!! Thats it. I say unto you, Love one another, for the kingdom of God is with-in you! nuff said.

The Messiah Yehowshuwa said that the greatest commandment is:

Hear , O Israel; YEHOWAH our God is one YEHOWAH: And thou shalt love YEHOWAH thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

So we must love our Father Yehowah first. Then we must love one another.

AMN is Aleph Mem Nun. It is the word True in Hebrew and the same word we use when we say AMEN.

In Greek, AMN is Lamb.

Amni is River of life

Amnio is Bowl or Lamb

Amnion is the Bowl that catches the sacrifice of the Lamb. Also, it is the sac covering the baby in the womb.

Amniotic Fluid is the water (Amni) of the baby.

Amnesia is the condition of forgetting. This is when we forget our sin.

Amnesty is when God forgets the transgression of the lamb.

dAMNation is when God does not forget.

Aleph is Strength

Mem is Water

Nun is Seed

Father is Hebrew is Aleph Bet (Alphabet / Letters of DNA)

Mother is Aleph Mem (Waters of our involution / baptism)

Son is Bet Nun (House of Seed). Again, DNA is key to knowing the truth behind the letters and the Word (Christ).

AMN is our True Lamb

The Church of Rome formally The church of Babylon of which had the tradition of its congregations Line up before the Alter and drink or sip from one vessel Lambs blood where the Blood of the lamb would curdle within the Cup and would stink the congregation would find it revolting One young Priests wanted to wash out the cup before fresher blood was poured into the cup It would be that on asking to stop the ceremony for a brief moment the higher of the two priests said no and get on with the job an argument sprung up where the high priest suggested to Separate from the church of Babylon and create their own churches They Kept the same traditions as the Church of Babylon but went under the title of Pharisee and Sadducee a corrupt and Evil Church Like it like it not the Pharisee and Sadducee Church's are of the same today as what they were a few thousand years ago they have changed their names to Catholic and Protestant churches but in stead of sipping Blood they now use wine or some red coloured Drink I know protestants will get their backs up about this but they that is both of them celebrate Christmas Easter and all the other garbage that goes with it I Too do not believe Amen should be used in a prayer or anything whatsoever if you pay lip service to Pagan Gods then you reap the same reward as the rest of us and it is not a pretty Picture Nuclear wars and total destruction and once we are dead or once our bodies are dead we will not know salvation

Lisa 3 years ago

Dave, thank you for your comment, I love you. To everyone, I love you too, I hope that you will all experience (know) Gods grace. If you haven't already, close your eyes, relax your body, empty your mind, and focus on nothing, when you do this, with all your heart, ask for God (by whatever name you think is right for you) to help you, God will come to you as God came to me . God is pure love, God is everywhere and within everything, God is within you, within the 'good' people and also within the 'bad' people. Our skin colour is a gift from God, to help us live in the hot and cold climate of this wonderful planet we live on. Language is a gift from God to help us connect with each other. We are not separate people, we are all one people. I pray that you all connect, with God and with each other, for everything in this universe is God, love God and love your neighbour, and your neighbours neighbour, and love all creation and truly know that God is within us all, and within everything. I love you all, and pray that one day we can all let go of our ego, and be one with each other and therefore one with God.

If one loves the Creator with all their heart, then I would presume that they would like to use his correct name. If one does not know the correct name I think one should try to find out what it is.

James 2:20 But wilt thou know , O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

In the end all will know his great name.

Ezekiel 36:23 And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am YEHOWAH, saith the Lord YEHOWAH, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.

Your comment is strange, its sounds like you have been heavily indoctrinated by the Cult of Amen. The bible states that YEHOWAH will punish the cult of Amen and the Pharaohs and kings of Egypt/Mitsrayim. Jeremiah 46:25

ceth 3 years ago from Newcastle upon Tyne

I Since before the Internet telling me that Amen was a Pagan god or an Egyptian Pharaoh I would have some sixth sense telling me that Amen was an inappropriate word to say after prayer: I Never told anyone of my beliefs until I found that many many more people were coming up with the same theory: was I going out of mind where I was constantly told not to say Amen: I think not? There are other conclusions that have come about regarding the Bible: I truly do believe that there are things of which are spoken of within the Bible are True: But Knowing that the Scriptures have had different Translations and also that they differ from one thing to another: Now there is one thing that strikes home to me and that John the Baptist was first of all chosen by G-d to bring back the Lost sheep of Israel and I must emphasis on the word Israel (and not the Gentiles) Now what got my attention was the fact that Me being a Gentile and also an assembly of God Pentecostal I found that there seemed to be a some slight confusion about the Baptism of water unto the Repentance of sin? Now within the Protestant circle both in the Elem Pentecostal and A O G! A newcomer to the Pentecostal faith: the Pastor would notice this strange Face within the congregation and would often concentrate on speaking about the love of Jesus: where one thing leads to another where finally the call to the repentant sinner to go to the front of the Church: and on supposedly giving his self to Jesus he is told that he is now saved and is saved By grace alone: Now My findings are not so complex as what one might think But many things are overlooked within the Pentecostal Churches? For instance I as a Pentecostal being naïve at first accepted this church to be of the living Saviour: but as years went by I was less sure to whether the church was truly of the Messiah: The Pentecostal Churches were giving a different meaning to that of the True Church Here are my findings John the Baptist was to Baptize the People of Israel unto the Baptism of water unto the Repentance of Sin: Now although It may be not made Clear within the Bible I strongly and truly believe that among those Jews that were being Baptized were twelve Men that would soon Know the Messiah where they'd be Baptized in water unto the repentance of their sin: Some people would believe that the Baptism of water was purely symbolic and that one could do away with such formalities: but I Myself am convinced that it was a necessity of which G-d demanded of his Creation: that they were obligated to carry out ! Did not the Messiah say "Not a dot or an Iota shall be added or taken away from the word of G-d ? Then this being the case Jew and Gentile alike should carry out what god ordained and should we try and skip out or opt out from the word of G-d then we are Guilty of Putting out own life's at peril and if we are Pastors of that Church we are likewise doing the Same thing with the converts: There is a correct order that things should be done and if you skip things out then there is a risk of things Collapsing: If you Mix sand and cement and add no Water and then lay the Trowel with the Mixture of just sand and Cement onto a brick and then try to build a wall the wall is sure to Fall because there is a vital ingredient missing: Unless we follow the that of which is desired of us by G-d then we are depriving ourselves of Salvation? Therefore the Baptism of water unto the Repentance of our sin should therefore be foremost in everything we do: Symbolic in one sense it may be! But to leave it out is to bring condemnation to our soul ? Washing away our sins is for us to be cleansed of our sin: And thereafter should G-d favor you: He will then pour out his divine holy spirit upon you: But be warned for if you were to be Baptized unto the repentance of your sin: Take heed to this warning? The Messiah said that if anyone should be cleansed of there sin; and that they go back into the world and sin again that they are like a swine that was washed clean: But because the swine Knew no difference it Turned back round and went into the Mire of which it had first come from thus Making its self twice the worse as what it was in the beginning: Do not think like the Catholic thinks that he/ she / they can go and confess their sin before a priest and get away with just saying a few our Fathers and Hail Mary's that their sins be forgiven? The Baptism of water is a cleansing of the soul where then the divine Holy Spirit can dwell? Now some of you might say to me that you have never been Baptized in water and that you have the divine Holy Spirit within you and that you speak in tongues: Can you be sure that the spirit you have within you is the True divine Holy Spirit ?????? Now let's take a look at the Messiah? Ask yourself this question? Are you yourself more Purer than the Messiah are you favored more than He that was to Spread the Gospel where he was to humble himself to G-d that he should carry out the ministries unto his own People: if you think that you are more worthy than he that was to sacrifice his life upon two pieces of Timber with nails Hammered through his Hands and feet: then I bow down in reverence to you? The Messiah before he was to receive the Holy Spirit he too had to be Baptized of John:? What would this Statement conjure up in your Mind ? Well Let me first tell you of my thoughts: and I believe them to be True? I Believe that the Messiah was the seed of David and that there was no immaculate conception: I believe that Yosef (Joseph) was the seed of David and there was no Angel Gabriel that spoke to Joseph telling him not to have intercourse with Miri (Mary ) I believe that Miri (Mary) was to give birth to the Messiah through Natural Means where Yosef was the Natural Father: and therefore the Messiah was born also the seed of David: Say for instance if the Messiah were to get Married and that is wife were to present him with a son then too that child would become the Seed of David? Now with this hypothesis in mind The messiah would be Totally Human which would Conclude that he was the son of Man; of which became the son of G-d not by an immaculate Conception but by the Manifest of G-d: The Idea of the Only begotten son of g-d Tells me that you were somewhat influenced to believe that g-d put his seed in Mary? Wrong: Truly he was the Only Begotten son of G-d: but not the way you are made to believe? It was as you know it was in the prophecy that the Seed of David through Bathsheba would one day bare a son: But in the New testament of the Bible you are told of something of which adds contradiction? you either believe that the Messiah was born of the immaculate Conception or you believe that he was the son of man made manifest to be the Son of G-d? G-d Forgive me? But if I were G-d and that I favored a mere Mortal and that I loved him as my own I would therefore Manifest it to be made Know that although he was a Son of Man: I'd make it Known to the World that I had made it in my will that he was my adopted son who was once of Man? The Messiah was Flesh and blood: he was the son of a Carpenter a child who was brought up in a manner where he was devoted to reading the scriptures But he was none the less a child of which had Human weakness and this is why he had to go through the waters of Baptism unto the repentance of sin: It was after and only after he had been cleansed of his sin that he became Sinless: I Would make it clear to you that the Messiah's Name is not Jesus and that he is not called the Christ and that I want him to live within me: For without him I will perish for he is my refuge and Strength without him I am no one I praise his name and embrace him as My rescuer One day the world will come to an end but those that have found G-d through the Man that gave himself to be whipped and scourged and to be spat upon and humiliated and then crucified shall be saved? If you are a Jew and that you are within the Roman Catholic Church Come out of her for she is an whore a deceiver she is a bottomless pit where intense heat shall devour your Soul come out of her and be counted with those that Love G-d treat yourself to eternity

Blessed be the name of YEHOWA Almighty. For I know the truth will prevail one way or an other, brother thank you for all the good works. Also for the women who said the Jews were hurting by the Satanist people, I don't thin she knows what she's talking about. Because the jews are the Satanist one according to the book of revelation chapter 2:9 the are the sinagog of satan. They are the author of all lies. And they are not the childrens of Israel, but childrens of the Satan or Devil.

My brother Daniel Bodi ( google him) teaches Hebrew, Aramaic and Akkadian at the University of Paris 8. He has three PhD s and is also an expert on the Old Testament. He is absolutely positive that " amen" is correct...

Now , Jesus Christ in French and English don't have the same pronunciation, in Serbian for instance it would be " Isus Hristos" and in Greek Ιησους (Iēsoûs); in Italian it's Gesù Cristo... To insist on a fantasy pronunciation will not make us MORE spiritual...

About Yahweh or Jehovah... Be careful, insisting on this may make us closer to the Jehovah's witnesses' cult... and of course, we don't know the original vowels, so this discussion is not on an academic level, but more on a sectarian level !?

Having listened to your brother speak on a video and using the incorrect name Yahve. Makes me think of this verse:

Luke 11:52

"Woe unto you, lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered ."

And as he said these things unto them, the scribes and the Pharisees began to urge him vehemently, and to provoke him to speak of many things: Laying wait for him, and seeking to catch something out of his mouth, that they might accuse him.

I have read the two stories of creation in the bible. We have to know that created in everything in six days then rested. It was said be fruitfull and multiply and you know the rest of it then rested. Then man tryed to be like god. We are doing what god said but we were not told at our creation to be like god or copy or seek or understand god or how we were made. God gave us everything we needed

Antichrist trys to be like god great signs and wounders he does what he see god do. Taught by man and is the son of man and uses man teachings to fafill his phrocey then makes him or herself like god.

God only told us be fruitfull and so on then leaves the sceen then the lord god comes and copies it but somrthing went wrong prayer worship sacrifice books right and wrong the first story was the only story you need.

Look at science cloning space travel so on one day we will make humans land on planets die slower and may be watching but it is up to us to survive till god wants us to know him this why bad happen to good people and good happens to bad god may not be involved in our personal affairs cant you see that by know be fruitfull and multiply comon sence will help you if it rain will not find something to stand under if your cut will you not try to stop the pain we shouldnt try to see what we cant see read what we cant read but we will try to why this is part of what created us in us. Truth is no one knows not even you. But have fun adventure and enjoy the earth the warmth from the sun the beauty of the moon the the relief of warter when your thristy. Do good and whats right becouse you know that it is right the is gods gift to us our life the earth the universe is the gift given what we do with it is up to us we are in this sall togather. Pray if it makes you happy your heart will be known.

Thanks for this hub all, came across it looking for a relationship (if any) between Armen and Amen, as Armen is named a fallen angel along with Baraqal curiously, but lets not go there for the moment!). Any thoughts would be appreciated.

From the Book of Enoch - 69 HANOCH - ENOCH 69

Names and Misdeeds of the Fallen angels

69:1 After this judgment, they shall frighten them and make them scream because they have shown this knowledge of secret things to those who dwell on the earth.

69:2 Now behold, I am naming the names of those angels! These are their names: The first of them is Semyaz, the second Aristaqis, the third Armen, the fourth Kokba'el, the fifth Tur'el, the sixth Rumyal, the seventh Danyul, the eighth Neqa'el, the ninth Baraqel, the tenth Azaz'el, the eleventh Armaros, the twelfth Betryal, the thirteenth Basas'el, the fourteenth Hanan'el, the fifteenth Tur'el, the sixteenth SipWese'el, the seventeenth Yeter'el, the eighteenth Tuma'el, the nineteenth Tur'el, the twentieth Rum'el, and the twenty -first Azaz'el.

Great work brother.. the Most High revealed this to me almost a year ago! I had never heard anyone else talk about it to be influenced. So it was a direct and personal blessing for him to show me this because I seeked the truth. I try and tell and warn ppl but only get the same comments you receive. I feel the Most High revealed to me we are to use the word selah to lift our prayers up to him just as David did. After all David was, biblically, the first real true Jew. And we know we are to learn our lessons of salvation by example of the Jews ( John4:22) great work again brother! Love ya!

Egyptian god Amen-ra?

The word “Amen” probably goes back a long way. Some imagine it is of pagan origin, there being an Egyptian god called Amen-Ra. They say that Moses introduced this name into the worship and religious language of the people he led out of Egypt. If Moses had done such a stupid thing, God would have been so angry! Instead, in the Bible, we first found the word “Amen” commanded by the Lord (Num 5:22). It is not credible that God would invoke the name of a false pagan god.

2 Why do we say “Amen”?

The word is almost always used to end a solemn statement, as in the example cited earlier. We find the word “Amen” as the last word in several instances in the Bible.

The word is found in the last verses of the Bible (Rev 22:20-21).

The first three books of Psalms end with Amen (Psa 41:13, Psa 72:19, Psa 89:52).

Most books of the New Testament end with it (KJV).

In the land of Israel, when a prayer or prophecy was made, or a law of God was read, "All the people said, “Amen”" (Neh 5:13, 8:6).

The Lord’s example prayer ends with “Amen” (Mtt 6:13).

Paul uses the word seven times in his letter to the Romans at the end of doxologies or benedictions Annotation on Doxology and Benediction with a link back to here (Rom 1:25, Rom 9:5, Rom 11:36, Rom 15:33, Rom 16:20,24,27)

Paul implies that people should say “Amen” at the end of a prayer in church (1Co 14:16).

The word “Amen” appears therefore to be the fitting last word for solemn utterances made before God.

3 What Does “Amen” Mean?

Oddly, to get a scriptural answer to what “Amen” means, we go to a place where it is used not as the last word but the first word. Jesus would often start a solemn statement by saying "Verily" or "Truly". In John's gospel (eg John 3:3) Jesus is recorded as using the word twice in succession, "Verily, verily, I say to you...". This is actually the word “Amen”.

When we compare an instance of this in Mark, with the same statement in Luke, we find Mark has left the word untranslated (just as αμην “Amen”), but Luke has translated it using the word αληθος "Truly". (Mark 9:1, Luke 9:27). This shows us that the underlying meaning of the word “Amen” is truth and verity. It is a solemn affirmation. When we say, “Amen” we are saying, "Yes before God I agree with that, I believe that to be true, I want that to be so".

Quick definition of Amen

Definition: Amen is an exclamation expressing agreement with a statement. At the end of a prayer it expresses the genuineness or truth of the petition or praise. Amen means "truly", or "fair dinkum".

Greek References: αμην ameen translated by Luke as αληθος aleethos, truly (Mark 9:1, Luke 9:27).

Bible quotes for Amen

Other interesting and helpful passages also show us that the word “Amen” is a solemn affirmation of truth, a special word that we can use whenever we have said (or heard) something that is true before God.

Instead of saying, "Amen, Amen" Jeremiah paraphrased the second Amen in his statement, "Amen, the Lord do so" (Jer 28:6).

One of God’s names or titles is "The God of Truth". If we left the last word untranslated, the title would read, "The God of Amen" (Isa 65:16).

Paul uses the word as an affirmation when he says of Christ, "For as many as may be the promises of God, in him they are 'yes' and in him 'Amen' " (2Co 1:20).

One of the names of Jesus is "The Amen, the Faithful and True Witness" (Rev 3:14).

When the exiles returned from Babylon, "Ezra praised the LORD, the great God; and all the people lifted their hands and responded, 'Amen, Amen!' " (Neh 8:6).

Some Psalms use the word twice together. For example, "Praise be to the LORD forever! Amen and Amen." (Psalm 89:52).

If this topic wasn't so serious, I would laugh, you sound like an educated joke.

You are one of those people who hinder people.

Luke 11:52 KJV

Woe unto you, lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered

First of all the "Faithful and True witness" is Yehowshuwa not Jesus or Amen. And the name of our Creator is YEHOWAH not LORD. And his Son is the Messiah not the Christ. Why would anyone cling and defend a Pagan name and yet not know the true name of the Father and his Son.

There are actual hymns written to the Pagan Egyptian god Amen, here is a translation of one line.

1. Praise to Amen-Ra: the bull in An (Heliopolis) chief of all gods: the good god beloved: giving life to all animated things: to all fair cattle: Hail to thee Amen-Ra lord of the thrones of the earth: chief in Aptu (Thebes): the bull of his mother in his field: turning his feet towards the land of the south: lord of the heathen, prince of Punt (Arabia): the ancient of heaven, the oldest of the earth: lord of all existences, the support of things, the support of all things.

So to start or end any prayer with this pagan name, you are praising the Egyptian god. 2 years ago

"These are the words of the Amen, the faithful an true witness the ruler of gods creation I know your deeds that you are neither cold nor hot because you are lukewarm i about to spit you out of my mouth" 2 years ago

" they fell down on their faces before the throne an worshiped god saying: Amen praise an glory an wisdom an thanks an honor and power an strength to be our god forever and ever Amen"

Revelation 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall ADD unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall TAKE AWAY from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

They took out the name Yehowah, the true name of our Creator and added the word Amen, a name of an Egyptian Sun God. They also changed the name of the messiah Yehowshuwa to the false name Jesus.

This has been a plan of Satan to deceive the whole world. Only those who sincerely seek the truth will not be fooled.

Revelation 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out , that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which DECEIVETH the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him

Revelation 12:12 Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

Psalm 83:16 Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek thy name, O Yehowah.

Deuteronomy 4:29 But if from thence thou shalt seek YEHOWAH thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.

2014 and simple minds still argue over their primitive beliefs based on myths derived from numerous ancient legends. To primitive man The Sun was proof of God. People have been ritually brainwashed by greedy men seeking power over the uneducated for too long. Nature is God. Spinoza was correct.

Your comment has no value, seeing that you yourself have been "ritually brainwashed" by Spinoza's philosophy.

Deuteronomy 8:19 And it shall be, if thou do at all forget YEHOWAH thy God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that ye shall surely perish.

Lol at your arrogance to deny others their truths you little man. No brainwashing involved fool. I think for myself and it is plain for all to see that you babble your 'truth' in the vain hope that others will follow you and support your delusions of grandeur. Spinoza was a philosopher not a religious zealot like yourself. Your cult of religion is sad. I feel sorry for you and your closed simple mind. The one truth is that we are ALL part of The Universe (meaning ONE) which is visible as Nature (Read Spinoza's ideas instead of persecuting him like you do everything). That is the TRUE face of God. Not some mythical bearded superMAN that you worship like a simpering slave sold on the promise of an afterlife. Have some respect if you know what that is and LOVE the Universe and all the organisms that are part of it. I wish you all the best in your long quest for understanding with your other blind followers that follow the heresay of the uneducated blind.

Good luck. :-) xxx

I think that you are arrogant and that you are playing the fool. Both of your comments show lack of respect to everyone who reads it. Both should have been deleted. Any more uncivil comments made by you in the future will be deleted.

We do not profit in writing our articles and we do not have a following. These are our findings in our own search for the truth, and to help and tell others that they too must seek the truth for themselves.

There are many false prophets:

Romans 1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator

Maybe you should think for yourself and not let Spinoza speak for you, but by the way you write clearly shows Spinoza thinks for you.

Please do not ever say we are worshipping satan! God forbid!! We worship the Almighty God Jehovah Jireh, God has many names. You can twist and turn the bible how you like, you can believe it's false but remember that , that word of God is the only thing that will never pass away! When we say amen! My God knows we mean and so shall it be, & we are in agreement with what we have just prayed. I couldn't care less what other meanings you have. You cannot addd or take away from Gods word. This is a very silly topic, the devil has the world focusing on such frivolous & irrelevant topics when Jesus Christ of Nazareth the messiah has called us to be Saved & focus on that!. If Gods word is all made up by man & certain things are lies, all the history u read & researched who wrote them then ? Cause I'm pretty sure you were not there. Thank You... We are children of the Most High I Am that I Am, do not ever classify us with that wicked devil ever again, I reject it!! In Jesus Mighty Name Amen! ... Believe God or not, Jesus or not, his word or not... He is not moved by it but only hurt & passionate for you. Accept Jesus as your Lord & saviour , believe his word rather than twisting it & bearing false witness against his children ( 10 commandments!).. God bless you!

If you will read your bible, it states that the whole world will be deceived by the dragon who is Satan.

And the great dragon was cast out , that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. (Revelation 12:9)

Everyone has been indoctrinated with Satan's lies, he wants to deceive the whole world. One has to seek the truth on their own. We are not to use the name of a false god, and Amen is the name of the Egyptian god. In Luxor there are temples dedicated to Amen, also in the Egyptian Book of the Dead there is a hymn to the Egyptian god Amen-ra. The Egyptian pharaoh's also adopted the name Amen in their titles one example is the Pharaoh Amenhotep lll which means Amen is satisfied. Two new statues have just been erected at Luxor of Amenhotep lll. So Amen is a name of an Egyptian god. The Hebrew people were commanded to put away the gods of Egypt.

Now therefore fear YEHOWAH, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye YEHOWAH. (Joshua (Yehowshuwa) 24:14 )

The true name of the Almighty is Yehowah. Jehovah is an incorrect German translation even though they will tell you that a Spanish Dominican monk, Raymundus Martini, in 1270 first used it, there were no J's until the 1500's and the Germans pronounced and changed the W as a V.

And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, YEHOWAH God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations. (Exodus 3:15)

The true name of the Messiah is Yehowshuwa, not Jesus, these are false teachings of Satan, the master deceiver. We must use the correct name. Jesus Christ is a false name therefore the Messiah Yehowshuwa will say depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them , I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. (Matthew 7:21)

The will of the Father is:

Hear , O Israel: YEHOWAH our God is one YEHOWAH: And thou shalt love YEHOWAH thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: (Deuteronomy 6:4)

So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not let them pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I am YEHOWAH, the Holy One in Israel. (Ezekiel 39:7)

According to the response "Rocky B (4 years ago)'' reading from the 5th paragraph, “I should point out that there was no such thing as Hebrews as a race of people prior to Jacob, who fathered the twelve tribes (which later became the Jewish nation). Jacob, who was, by pharoah, placed in one of the highest political positions one could hold without being a member of the royal family." Did he mean, "Joseph?" It was Joseph, which was appointed governor of Egypt according to the Biblical scripture, in Genesis. Furthermore, please explain the origin names "Yehowah, and Yehowshuawa? I read, that Egypt was well-established before the Bible/canon was constructed, translated many times, and finally written, in English. Where did the names: Yehowah, and Yehowshuwa arrive. Were these two names known before the place of Egypt came into existence? If you are able, educated, and knowledgeable with Circa, BC, and AD, etc. including the year, please respond. Honestly, I have invested so much time researching the origin of the Bible from indigenous, ancient, and Alpha as far back as possible. Understanding, Biblical scholars, and those with far advanced theological, seminary, and origin studies of Ancient historical privilege may qualify writing a valid and valuable response.

First of all its all fishy stinks to high heavens. Letter J was invented 1865 about a 100 years ago. which means no jesus no juersliam (no jews curse word for Hebrew people) Like nigger. Jesus in greek actually means (Iesous) (Zeus). Greek good. Mary catholic is actually goddess ices. Pray to mary( not. a god) just a good lady that had a baby. Catholics stop praying to mary she will not and cannot ever answer your prayers. Yeshua (Jesus). YHWH. Yahweh ( God) Correct spelling people this is our GOD. the way you guys have spelled our god and savior wrong theses are the correct spellings on my comments. This is why we need too start a new church to teach us the correct way.

Gods real name (elohim) (YHWH) (Yahweh)

the normal word for master is lord, a rendering of (Adonai)

Jesus real name (yeshua)

why does my bible have the real names spelled different from yours?

god is universal don't use it cause which god are u talking about. Jesus actually is zeus translated to greek. nothing is accident. the devil wants our souls and wants to be worshiped. Don't let him win. do your own research and ask your local priest to guide u. But ultimately u have to decide for yours selves what to believe and what not too. but don't have your eyes wide shut.

Your commments are hard to follow, inaccurate and contradictory, you say to do your own research and then you say to ask your local priest... Also you are incorrect about the letter J, it came into use in the 1500's. As for the true names, one has to look at the original Hebrew scripts, which all bibles are translated from. The Hebrew name YHWH is Yehowah, see Strong's Concordance #3068 and the name of the Messiah is Yehowshuwa, see Strong's Concordance #3091. And for further confirmation, one can look at the Bibilica Hebraica and Aleppo Codex.

Amos 5:8 Seek him that maketh the seven stars and Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day dark with night: that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: YEHOWAH is his name:

Psalms 83:16 Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek thy name, O YEHOWAH. Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let them be put to shame , and perish : That men may know that thou, whose name alone is YEHOWAH, art the most high over all the earth.

PSALMS 119:1 Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of YEHOWAH. Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.

Deuteronomy 4:29 But if from thence thou shalt seek YEHOWAH thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul. When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to YEHOWAH thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice. (For YEHOWAH thy God is a merciful God;) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them.

Greek language comes from Egyptian hieroglyphs.

Steve posted that the Greek AMN means 'our true lamb'.

The Egyptians AMN was Horus.

Many people believe that Jesus is a copy of Horus.

Horus was known as the Good shepherd.

Horus was the bread of life.

Horus was the truth and life...

ro-jo-yo profile image

ro-jo-yo 2 years ago Author

Jesus may very well be Horus or the Greek Ammon Zeus, because it is an incorrect name, the Messiah is of Hebrew origin and his name is Yehowshuwa, the son of Almighty Yehowah, who is the god of the living.

Amen and Horus and Osiris are names of the god of the Dead. What you and Steve are referring to is the Gnostic teachings, a manipulation of the Scriptures by the Greek Philosophers. Also I would like to point out that you are incorrect with your statement that Greek comes from the Egyptian Hieroglyphs, the Coptic language incorporated some Egyptian letters in there language, but the Greek language does not come from the Egyptian hieroglyphs.

butterflywings1 2 years ago

Hi ro-jo-yo

I read that the Copts are Egyptians so I expect that they would have incorporated some Hieroglyphs into the language. The hieroglyphs were the base of the language I think??

I also read that the Greek developed from the parent language of the Egyptians and Phonecians.

I find it hard to believe that Greek was a totally independent language that led to the word AMEN, and the Egyptian language was totally independent and led to the word AMEN also.

You are twisting and implying things that we did not say.

The topic of this article is whether or not one should say the word Amen at the end of prayers. If a person follows the bible it states that we should worship YEHOWAH only and that we are not to have false Pagan names coming out of our mouths.

I see that you have an account with hubpages, so if you want to discuss whether or not Greek comes from the Egyptian hieroglyphs etc., please write your own article on it, and discuss it there.

You are so far off the money it isn't funny. You are the one who needs to do some serious research.

Especially concerning the rules of Hebrew pronunciation, and rules of the Hebrew language.

The name of the Almighty is Yehowah, and his son the Messiah, who came in his fathers name is,

Yehowshuwa, which is also spelled Yehowshua, shuwa meaning a call to freedom in the Hebrew language.

If you need help coming to the truth, try searching in the Hebrew scriptures, such as the Biblia Hebraica or the Aleppo codex for example.

If you believe what you are saying then write a Hub for yourself.

Everyone will have to make their own choice.

As for seeking advice from a Pastor, Minister or Priest is ridiculous, because they have to say what they have been programmed to say, or they lose their job.

2 Corinthians 11:13 For such false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Messiah.

14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

Nasty comments get deleted! You sure seem to like calling people stupid etc., not the best way to do things.

It would be very nice if more people were to take this matter seriously, but as it states in the scripture.

Matthew 22:14 For many are called, but few are chosen.

Matthew 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Only those who seek the truth will be saved.

John 4:23 But the hour cometh , and now is , when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

A lot of people, including some Messianic Jews (Jews who believe Jesus is the Messiah), will call Jesus by a different name: Yeshua (Hebrew יֵשׁוּעַ). They say that Yeshua is the Jewish name that Jesus would have been called by those who knew him. Some messianics and other groups say that Yeshua is Jesus' real name, and that the name "Jesus" is wrong. Others say it is okay to use either one. But then again, there are those who say that the word "Jesus" is pagan in origin and should not be used at all. And if that weren't enough, some say that "Jesus" is derived from "Zeus" and really means "hail Zeus." With all these possibilities is there a real answer to what was the Messiah's real name? Yes, there is. It is found in the New Testament.

The New Testament was written in Greek. If there were any original documents of the New Testament written in Hebrew, we don't have them. At best, some theorize that there might have been a gospel or two written in Hebrew. If that is the case, there is no way to know. The fact is we don't have any Hebrew manuscripts. We only have Greek ones from that period of time.

Since what we do have is the Greek Manuscripts, it is from them that we need to find out what the Apostles wrote about Jesus. In other words, we need to make a case out of what we do have--not what we don't have.

Doing a computer search in the Greek New Testament, the word "Jesus" occurs over 900 times. Following is a chart that lays this out.

What does the Greek actually say?

The Greek word for Jesus is Iησοῦς. It is pronounced as "eeaysoos." When "eeaysoos" was transliterated into the English long ago, it became Jesus--the term we use in English today.

Some say that if we don't pronounce Jesus' name properly (either as Yeshua and or Eeaysoos), then we are in sin and serving a false god; but that accusation cannot be made from scripture. It is not the pronunciation of a word that makes us Christian or not. It is receiving the messiah, God in flesh, by faith that makes us a Christian. Likewise, must we say "theos" when saying "God" since that is how the word is pronounced in Greek? Or what about when we call Jesus the "Savior" as in Phil. 3:20, must we pronounce the word as it is in Greek (sotare), or is it okay to use the English word "savior?"

The entire New Testament was written in Greek, and the word Jesus is the word that is used. It is not the Hebrew יֵשׁוּעַ which is Yeshua. So, it is simple. Jesus is properly called Jesus.

• "And she will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus, for it is He who will save His people from their sins." (Matt. 1:21).

•"The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God." (Mark 1:1).

•"let it be known to all of you, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead--by this name this man stands here before you in good health. 11 “He is the stone which was rejected by you, the builders, but which became the very corner stone. 12 “And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:10-12).

•Paul, a bond-servant of Christ Jesus, acalled as an apostle, set apart for the gospel of God, (Rom. 1:1).

•"But we do see Him who was made for a little while lower than the angels, namely, Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, so that by the grace of God He might taste death for everyone." (Heb. 2:9).

•"The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show to His bond-servants, the things which must shortly take place; and He sent and communicated it by His angel to His bond-servant John," (Rev. 1:1).

As you can see, the New Testament uses "Jesus" as the name and not a Hebrew name. For people to say that Jesus' real name is Yashua or Yahusha or Yahushua, etc., is Jesus' real name is just a statement of pushing an agenda and not believing the New Testament text.

mike 85 2 years ago

The real name of God is YHWH, the four letters that make up His name found in Exodus 3:14. However, there is no correct pronunciation for the name of God because the letters are only consonents, no vowels. S+o we cannot tell what the "real" name of God is. However, in Exodus 3:13-14 it says, “Then Moses said to God, ‘Behold, I am going to the sons of Israel, and I shall say to them, “The God of your fathers has sent me to you.” Now they may say to me, ‘What is His name?’ What shall I say to them?” 14 And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM”; and He said, “Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’”

When God says "I AM” he is speaking his name. In the Hebrew language that this verse was written in, the letters are yod, he, vav, he, from which we get YHWH. These four letters were very loosely translated into the English ‘Jehovah.’ However, there is no ‘j’ sound in the Hebrew. So, a better approximation of the name of God would be Yahweh.

To reiterate, the pronunciation of God’s name is difficult because when they Jews wrote His name in Hebrew scriptures, they did not use vowel designations. They only used consonants. Therefore, the phrase “The name of God is YHWH” would appear as “th nm f gd s yhwh.” This wasn’t a problem with the Hebrews because they knew what the words were and how to pronounce them. It was not until many hundreds of years later that the Jews started to insert what was called ‘vowel points’ into the copied texts of the Hebrew Old Testament.

But unfortunately for us, we still don't know exactly which vowel sounds are the correct ones.

Nevertheless, from the text above the proper name of God is "I AM," which we transliterate into the English YHWH

Talk about a hidden agenda, who are you working for? What you are spewing out are lies and false doctrines. Talk about blasphemy, you say that the name of the Creator is Yahweh? That is the name of a Pagan Samaritan God! You are so fully indoctrinated by the Jesuits. I think if the two witnesses were to appear right now, you would be one of the people set out to kill them.

John 8:43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do . He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

Mike you put that the NT was written in Greek.

Yes-but the Jehovahs witnesses say that their English bible comes from the hebrew scriptures.

In their version Jesus is not 'God' he is only 'Gods' son.

The word 'God' certainly wouldn't have been used in ancient times.

It is worth looking up the 'God' Goden/Woden.

Ithink the word 'God' has come from this Goden or is definately related.

Syncretism is defined as "the combination of different forms of belief or practice" (Webster's). The word syncretism does not appear in the KJV, but the subject of syncretism is certainly addressed (and condemned) in the Scriptures. From a Biblical perspective, syncretism is the blending together of Yahweh worship with pagan worship.

A perfect example of syncretism is the worship of the Samaritans. When the Samaritan woman asked Yeshua a question about the difference between the worship of the Jews and Samaritans, He responded with this: "Ye worship ye know not what. We know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews" (Jn. 4:22).

This forthright statement probably sounds arrogant and ethnocentric in today's politically correct world, especially given the fact that the Samaritans believed in the same God the Jews worshipped. What was wrong with the worship of the Samaritans? To answer this question, we have to go to 2 Kings 17 and read about the origin of the Samaritans.

King David and King Solomon both ruled over a united, twelve-tribe monarchy. After the death of Solomon, the ten northern tribes seceded from the southern tribes of Judah and Benjamin, and made Samaria their capital. The ten northern tribes sinned greatly against the Lord. Their punishment was exile: Then the king of Assyria came up throughout all the land, and went up to Samaria, and beseiged it three years. In the ninth year of Hoshea, the king of Assyria took Samaria, and carried Israel [the ten tribes] away into Assyria, and placed them in Halah and in Habor by the river of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes... So was Israel carried away out of their own land to Assyria unto this day"(2Ki. 17:5f, 23).

After the Israelites were carried away, the king of Assyria populated Israel's land with pagans from other territories: "And the king of Assyria brought men from Babylon, and from Cuthah, and from Ava, and from Hamath, and from Sepharvaim, and placed them in the cities of Samaria instead of the children of Israel: and they possessed Samaria, and dwelt in the cities thereof (2 Ki. 17:24).

These were the people who later became known as the Samaritans. The rest of the chapter describes the development of the Samaritans' syncretistic worship. Soon after these people first settled in Israel's land,

Yahweh sent lions among them "because they feared not Yahweh" (vs. 25). The Samaritans told the king of Assyria that they did not know how the God of this land wanted to be worshipped. So the king sent an Israelite priest to "teach them the manner of the God of the land," and this priest "taught them how they should fear Yahweh" (vs. 27f). The Samaritans then began to worship Yahweh. However, they mixed their worship of Yahweh with the worship of their old pagan gods: "They feared Yahweh, and served their own gods, after the manner of the nations whom they carried away from thence... So these nations feared Yahweh, and served their graven images, both their children, and their children's children: as did their fathers, so do they unto this day" (vs. 33 & 41).

Yahweh had made it clear in Deuteronomy chapter 12 that He does not want worship which is patterned after the worship of pagan gods. Rather, He said, "What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it" (Deut. 12:32). The unnamed priest who instructed the Samaritans apparently neglected to tell the Samaritans that Yahweh rejects syncretistic worship. Or, if the priest did tell them, they chose to ignore those instructions. In either case, the Samaritans ended up with a flawed system of syncretistic worship. They erroneously believed that their system of worship was every bit as legitimate as that of the Jews. When the Jews returned from Babylon to Jerusalem to rebuild the Temple, the Samaritans came to them and said, "Let us build with you: for we seek your God, as ye do; and we do sacrifice unto Him since the days of Esar-haddon king of Assur, which brought us up hither" (Ezra 4:2).

The Jewish leaders rightly refused this ecumenical proposal, because they knew that the Samaritans' syncretistic worship would end up polluting their own worship. The Samaritans resented being shunned this way, and so opposed and harassed the Jews in their efforts to rebuild Jerusalem. About 500 years later, at the time of the Messiah, the Jews and the Samaritans were still not getting along with each other, which explains why the Samaritan woman was surprised when Yeshua asked her for a drink. "How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? For the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans" (Jn. 4:9).

It was to this Samaritan woman that Yeshua spoke about the need for true worshippers to worship "in spirit and in truth." "The Father seeketh such to worship Him," Yeshua said, "and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth" (Jn. 4:23f). True worship is a blend of spirit and truth. Syncretistic worship is a blend of paganism and truth.

The subtle danger of syncretistic worship lies in its claim to be worshipping the true God, Yahweh. When the Israelites brought idols and idolatrous practices into the Temple, they did not think of their actions as an abandonment of Yahweh. They thought of it as just supplementing their worship with customs borrowed from heathen idol worship. Even the golden calf at Mount Sinai was not regarded as a substitute god to replace Yahweh; rather, it was regarded as a symbolic representation of Yahweh. This can be seen in Aaron's reference to the golden calf as the God "which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt" and his proclamation that the worship of the golden calf would be "a feast unto Yahweh" - not a feast to some Egyptian god (Ex. 32:4f).

Syncretism made its way into the Messianic faith quite early. Certain statements in the Epistles show that it was starting even before the Apostles died. Paul scolded the Galatians for turning back to the weak and beggarly elements which put them in bondage to the observance of times. (And it is clear from the context that Paul was not referring to Yahweh's appointed times, which Paul himself observed. Rather, this observing of times concerned the Galatians' reverting back to their former pagan superstitions about times, much like some Christians today who put stock in their horoscopes.) Syncretism was also occurring among the saints at Colosse. This is obvious from Colossians chapter 2. (Here too it is clear from the context that Paul was not referring to the commandments of God written in the Torah; rather, he was talking about unhealthy bondage to man-made traditions, commandments, and philosophies.)

We know from history that the Apostles' warnings against syncretism went unheeded by the majority of Church leaders. Pagan customs were adapted and modified for use in Christian worship. Much that exists in Christianity today is nothing more than white-washed, baptized paganism. This is especially obvious in the Roman Catholic Church, which freely admits that many of its extra-Biblical traditions were borrowed from pagan idol worship. Anyone who doubts this can read Catholic Customs and Traditions: A Popular Guide by Greg Dues (Twenty-Third Publications, 2000). This book, written by a Catholic and primarily for Catholics, is a brief but comprehensive overview of the customs of Roman Catholicism. Throughout the book, the author freely admits that many Catholic customs were borrowed from paganism. Some examples:

• Sunday worship "is an example of how culture and pagan traditions influenced Christian religious traditions. This title [Sun-day] comes from pre-Christian worship of the sun" (pg. 22).

• The choice of December 25 as the date to celebrate Jesus' birth was an adaptation of the pagans' December 25 celebration of the birthday of their sun god. After Constantine "became the benefactor and protector of Christianity," the writer states, "pagan cultural features of sun-symbolism were no longer threatening. They could be freely absorbed by the church. The church, with its Nativity date of December 25 already in place, did precisel

Hi Mike I was looking for the truth and became Christian, but then some things didn't add up.

I did alot of research, and think that the Christian religion has come from earlier ideas.

The OT calender was changed along the way because it wasn't accurate. Would the almighty make an inaccurate calender in the first place?

The one we use now was Moonday(Monday), Tyrs day, Woden(Godens) day, Thors day, Friggas day, Saturns day, Sun's day.

They used the names of popular dieties to try to keep everyone happy. Saturns day was for the Jews. Sunday was for Christians. Jesus is a solar diety, if I am not mistaken.

The Persians crucified Egyptians for their sun cult. The Egyptians had anointed ones kings(Pharoahs) and priests.

Jesus was a king and priest the NT tells us.

He is known as the anointed one(Christ).

The AMN just has different spelling Amen etc

The NT tells us that Jesus is the Amen.

That makes him just the same as Amen Ra(sun god)

Amen Jesus.

all this stuff just makes me want to turn my back on everything and just not believe in anything. which isn't good. with that being said I really need whole hard facts. Everybody says its spell this way or that way. but no real evidence that it's spelled the way I spell it or you spell it mr. ro ho hub.... my Ryrie study bible spells it Yahweh. the only thing that is the same is YHWH that's it. everything else is contradicted by others back and forth. I am 28 and have just learned 7 months ago about jesus not being his real name. All of this is a big shock. so like I said there is about 3 different spelling of the same words. and all 3 put each other down and discredit one another. so how do u really know which one is right. If any are right?

Ezekiel 39:7 So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I am YEHOWAH, the Holy One in Israel.

Most people were taught the name of the Messiah is Jesus, although the name is incorrect the Almighty Yehowah knows if one's heart is sincere or not. But when one finds out the truth then we are commanded to repent

Acts 17:30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at ; but now commandeth all men every where to repent.

Once a person knows that the true name of the Messiah is Yehowshuwa, then I would suggest that a person use the correct name only.

Bree 2 years ago

You are absolutely right...the truth rest in one's heart. Our Heavenly Father knows our heart. I agree with you that Jesus is the english translation of Yeshua; however that does not mean He does not recognize His name just because it is called in a different tongue. I have an aunt named Brandi. When I was a child, I couldn't not pronounce "Brandi", so I called her " Banni". She received me with open arms and always answered to "Banni". As an adult, I know her name is Brandi, but she still answers to "aunt Banni". She takes no offense because " Banni" is my truth...the name I grew to know and live her by. I acknowledge her true name, but she will not damn me to hell if I don't call her Brandi. God is God...I Am...Alpha and Omega. So because there are many tongues, He has many names. But the amen thing, now that has always been questionable... Lol. I don't use it...

I do not agree with your comment at all, what you are trying to do is push the wrong name of the Messiah. The true name is Yehowshuwa.

Jesus and Yeshua are false names and if you continue to use these false names you will be told "depart from me. ye that work iniquity"

Matthew 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Well, debating is pointless, but I will correct you by saying I am not trying to do anything other than share my perspective. For it is written to trust in the Lord with ALL THINE HEART and lean not to thy own understanding, but acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths. Confusion is from Satan, people coming up with different so called truths, when at the end of the day it is only their truth. So believe what you want...whatever you feel you "figured out", but as for me, I will trust in the Lord.

I testify to everyone who hears the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, god shall add to him the plagues which are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of prophecy, god shall take away his part from the tree of life and from the holy city, which are written in this book.

I deleted your last comment, it is a pure garbage. You are not going to get the truth out of a Jesuit run university who is preaching a false doctrine.

2 Timothy 4:3

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

Thank you mr ro jo yo.

Since I haven't decide on the name of god. I was going to just simply pray to the creator of the heavens and earth and his son. At least this way there is no chance that I say the wrong name.

Your bad grammar and intentional misspelled words are a cover for your push of the false names Jesus and Christ. The true name of the Messiah is Yehowshuwa, and the true name of his Father is Yehowah.

joshua 2 years ago

I guess a person knows truth through can you know something when you haven't experienced anything from what you believe...its one thing to have a opinion about something but if you don't have anything to support what you say makes it false and of course a false doctorine....yea grammer is messed up your right and I accept that...

Pete 2 years ago

The first thing you all have to understand is that the religion of modern Christians does NOT represent what actually written the bible. There is NO pope, NO Christian or Jew sunday worship and NO baptism without full submersion. GODs name is NOT yahweh or jehovah as GOD tells Moses what his name is in exodus 3:13-15. GOD also says that is his name forever among all generations. How can you be more clear than that ?

Pete 2 years ago

Check your Strongs Concordance, both yahweh and jehovah are names of pagan gods from Egypt. If you use a modern Strongs you will NOT get the true Hebrew to English and vv, translation. Try esword if you don't have an older book to check from. They both translate to: jah/jeh/yeh/yah=god and hovah/hava/havah/weh= falling, iniquity, covetousness, ruin and mischief H1943. Put the words together what do you have ? Also keep on mind the letter J didn't exist until approximately the 16th century. In fact these two names can be found in a book called the "witches gods", this is a book people who are studibg to become witches use to do so. This book explains that those two names are of ancient Egyptian origin and translated names of their gods(fallen angels).

Is God's Son on earth illigitemate? Was Mary a Holy Spirit / the Holy Ghost? Are we to pray in Jesus name? Is wearing a cross wrong?

ro-jo-yo profile image

ro-jo-yo 13 months ago Author

Yehowshuwa is the true name of the Messiah, he is not here on Earth, he is with his Father Yehowah who is in Heaven. When Yehowshuwa came here to Earth he was born of a woman, he had brothers and sisters and Mary was the wife of Yehowsheph (Josheph). So Yehowah's son Yehowshuwa is not illigitemate here on earth or anywhere for that matter.

We are told to pray to the Father Yehowah and that whatsoever we ask the Father in Yehowshuwa's name he will give.

John 14:13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

John 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

John 16:23 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give you.

To pray in the false name Jesus, one would be worshipping and asking in a false name.

Wearing a cross is wrong, it is a sun worship symbol, like an idol. It is also the Mark of the Beast. (The Messiah was impaled on a stake not a cross)

Matthew 6:6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

I like your comment. :)

To everybody else. There is problem to use amen. But be aware that there are people that, when they use Amen, they mean Amun_Ra.

The apostles used amen in the bible and I use it. It is not wrong.

all that believe in Gods salvation in the Messiah Jesus Christ. Read heb 13:8 and 9 -

Heb 13:8  Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

Heb 13:9  Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace;

If you mean "so be it" when you say amen. So be it.

First you say there is a problem with saying amen then you say it is not wrong. You are contradicting yourself

The correct way to read Hebrews 13:8 in English is as follows:

Hebrews 13:8 Yehowshuwa the Messiah the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

Yehowshuwa came in his Father's name Yehowah. Jesus/Iesous is a false Greek name.

You and many others would rather continue in the false name claiming the name has done many wonderful works, but as you see can see in the following verse, you will be told to depart because you're a worker of iniquity.

Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity

Johim 2 months ago

I meant there is NO problem using amen, I just forgot the No, in the hurry.

Grace and Gods godness is what saves, dont let the evil one steal your faith. That is his goal. To steal the good seed that God has put into your heart.

Johim 2 months ago

About the scripteres you repeat all the time.

Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied .

in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity

They work iniquity because they TRUST in there own works. That is why The LORD dosent now them.

Job 25:4 - How then can man be justified with God? or how can he be clean that is born of a woman?

That is a good Q

Here is what poul says:

Rom 4:5  But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

Just like Abraham. Gen 15:6 And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.

About verse 21 : What is the will of the Father.

Joh_6:39  And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

Joh_6:40  And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

The will of the Father is that we are to believe the Son. And the Son stated that he came in his Father's name

John 5:43 I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.

You do not believe Yehowshuwa who said he came in his Father's name. You instead believe in a false Greek name Iesous/Jesus and you also believe there is no problem in using the name of a Egyptian God even though we are commanded by Yehowah not to have names of false gods coming out of our mouths

Exodus 23:13 And in all that I have said unto you be circumspect: and make no mention of the name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.

You have to love the truth or you'll be sent strong delusion.

2 Thessalonians 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Johim 2 months ago

" the love of the truth" Yes. But you are teasing another Gospel then Paul.

There are not 2 names. Only one name. That is the name of the messias.

Because God became flesh and came down to us. You can look it up in the old testament. :)

I call him Jesus Kristus.

You are incorrect, it is you who is teaching another gospel. The scriptures states clearly that we are to worship the Father whose name is Yehowah and that he sent his Son whose name is Yehowshuwa.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

The above verse tells us clearly that the Father, who is God, sent his Son the Messiah.

Your last comments are being deleted because they are of no value. These articles are written to help others who are sincerely looking for the truth on their own. You on the other hand repeat the same false rhetoric as all the other false preachers do.

You can take it or leave it.

You can continue to serve Baal whom you call Jesus Kristus or you can serve Almighty Yehowah according to the doctrine brought to us by his son Yehowshuwa.
