Animal Spirit Guides Meanings: Deer Spirit Guide
The Deer Spirit Guide
The deer is a magnificent animal for many reasons. Not only has the deer fed our ancestors on almost every continent, but they have also given us their knowledge of the land and of survival. Whether we choose to listen to that knowledge is ultimately up to us; however, the deer spirit guide is one to be honored and openly listened to.
Lately the deer spirit guide has been coming to me in my dreams...trying to make himself known. The deer spirit guide is sort of a quiet, gentle spirit guide; at least that has been my experience thus far with the deer spirit guide. In the first dream that I had of the deer spirit guide, I was in a store and I noticed a small golden deer statue. This is the first moment the deer spirit guide made itself known to me. The second dream consisted of the deer spirit guide swiftly running through fields and over hills.
The deer spirit guide will make itself known to you in the appropriate way. But what sort of knowledge does the deer spirit guide have to give us?
The deer spirit guide is swift and agile. The deer spirit guide is light on his feet and knows what it takes to survive. These are all qualities that we can learn from our deer spirit guides. Swiftness, agility, survival...these are somewhat of the more obvious qualities of a deer spirit guide. Are there deeper qualities and knowledge that we can take from the deer spirit guide? Yes. More spiritual lessons to learn from the deer spirit guide include fine-tuning our listening skills, or if we lack in listening skills just learning listening skills in general. Learning to sacrifice oneself for a greater cause or the common good of all. Gentleness is a quality that was demonstrated immediately in my first dream encounter with my deer spirit guide.
Gentleness is particularly a quality that I need to work on in my life at this point in time. It is a quality that the deer spirit guide possesses and has mastered, but I have yet to master. Though I'm a mother and a wife, I try to be as gentle as I can; however, I am not always the gentlest with my loved ones' feelings. This is something that I plan to work on with my deer spirit guide, as well as fine-tuning my listening skills.
What are you going to learn from your deer spirit guide? Has the deer spirit guide come to you in your dreams lately? Maybe you should open yourself up to the lessons of the deer spirit guide.
