As we go thro life we all go thro different things.
As we go thro life we all go thro different things, some we can handle some we need help to get thro them.
Some of us go to church some of us don't go, some of us go to home study groups to learn more, some of us enjoy going to other places doing many other things.
I enjoy going to church and to home group, this is where I learn more.
Ezekiel chap.6.
At the group we have been learning about the end times, and about the times when God was about to destroy Israel.
The Lord God spoke to Ezekiel and said to do this..........Ezekiel, beat your fists together and stomp your feet in despair! Moan in sorrow, because the people of Israel have done disgusting things and now will be killed by enemy troops, or they will die of starvation and disease, those who live far away will be struck with deadly diseases, those who live nearby will be killed in the war, and the ones left will starve to death, I will let loose my anger on them.
God spoke to Ezekiel and said this...........Ezekiel, son of man, face the hills of Israel and tell them:
"Listen, you mountains and hills, and every valley and gorge! I, the Lord , am about to turn against you and crush all the places where foreign gods are worshiped, every alter will be smashed, and in front of the idols I will put to death the people who worship them, dead bodies and bones will be lying around the idols and the alters, every town in Israel will be destroyed to make sure that each shrine, idol, and alter is smashed-everything the Israelites made will be a pile of ruins."
chap.7. v2. Ezekiel, son of man, tell the people of Israel that I am saying.....Israel will soon come to an end! your whole country is about to be destroyed and punishment for your disgusting sins, I, the Lord, am so angry that I will show you no pity, I will punish you for the evil you've done and you will know that I am the Lord.
I will let loose my anger and pinish you for the evil things you've done, you'll get what you deserve, your sins are so terrible, that I'll give to you no mercy, then you will know that I, the Lord have punished you.
Now if you go to Genesis you will read there that God did the same thing to those who were not following His ways, as many were sinning just as the same as those of the time of Ezekiel, but there were some who were following God's ways, so God said to paint the door posts with blood so that the angel of death would pass over and not kill those inside.
There was a reason why the posts were painted with blood, as God knew that when Jesus was to come the followers would be covered by the Blood of Jesus, and that they would be protected from death.
Now what about todays times aren't many people all over the world still worshiping idols, and not taking any notice of the Word of God, they have gone their own ways, they have parties, getting drunk, orgies, following wrong ways, listening to lies, turning their backs on the truth, you know when the time comes for the anti-christ to come how many will then say only if I had have listened to what was being said.
The end times will not come while there is someone stopping it to happen, but when that someone goes then the anti-christ will come to rule, but only for seven years,
When you read in 2nd Thessalonians chapt.2 v1. When our Lord Jesus returns, we will be gathered up to meet him.
v6. You already know what is holding this wicked one back until it is time for him to come.
You see the wicked one cannot come while there are still followers here on earth, because they would oppose him, he will only come when we all gone up with the one who is holding things up.
v7. Someone is holding him back and the wicked one won't appear until that someone is out of the way, then he will appear.
That someone is the Holy Spirit whom Jesus sent to us, and He will take us up to meet with Jesus when the right time comes and not before.
