Be Brilliant: Five Effective Prayer Tips, In Jesus Name

Updated on January 7, 2017

Love

Is not unique to Christianity alone.

Every religion promotes love and every human being wants love.

The kind of love that embraces them, the real them, the good, the bad, the ugly, and the complicated them.

The them that fails, succeeds or just gets by.

Acceptance.

Complete acceptance.

Yet no human being finds it in another human being.

Or do they, can they?

Love according to the bible states, "love never fails".

Yet it does, doesn't it?

The bible talks of love in several forms.

  • Eros
  • Agape
  • Filio

Accordingly each has it's place in the human drama we call life's journey.

The concept of each category has been manipulated by illusions and misconceptions created by those who want to sell product especially books, specifically romance novels.

Yet love is the universal theme that saturates our music, our movies and everything that involve human relationships and involvement.

For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, Jesus..

  • God is love
  • God gave because of love
  • God gave his best, Jesus

All this was to prove his love!

  • God spoke of his love
  • God demonstrated his love
  • God proved his love

Like God we can only give, demonstrate and prove what is in us, what flows out of us.

  • Acts of violence
  • Acts of generosity
  • Acts of kindness
  • Acts of heroism
  • Acts of intelligence
  • Acts of manipulation
  • Acts of creativity

Visionary acts coming from our spirit but called our imagination.

Whatever is in your heart, wired in your brain and emotional psyche is what you demonstrate in your life. What you believe, what you say and what you live.

It can be covered up and controlled for a time, but if it is not replaced, then at times of stress you will revert to those behaviors, attitudes and even thoughts because they were never dealt with and replaced by something better, Godly or spiritual.

We see that with hurting people that hurt people.

A lot of it is not intentional, but training through life's exposure, experiences and conditioning, and self protection have brought about wrong thoughts, therefore wrong behaviors.

For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God..

Grace

Grace in the biblical sense has been explained as a person, not a thing but Jesus Himself.

It's not a pass to behave badly, confess and repent, so you can continue behaving badly.

Greasy grace?

Yet, it is the grace of God that brings all men to repentance.

The lies that have been perpetuated by the christian community is that you should change once you are saved and they are correct, but although salvation is immediate, forgiveness of sins is immediate when one confesses Jesus as Lord and Savior.

Walking out one's salvation, the changing of behavior, and beliefs, thoughts processes happen through the love of God and our fellowship with Christ Jesus.

Grace, allows love to change our minds from the world's thinking and training to those of God through Christ Jesus by the Holy Spirit's instructions.

There is a outpouring of God's grace on every generation.

Jesus states that his grace is sufficient.

So what is biblical grace?

It is not the prayer you say over your meal before consuming it.

It is not a song.

It is not a sound

So what is it?

Biblical phrases, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. Romans 3:24

The word because flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the father, full of grace and truth.John 1:14

Now, Stephen, a man full of God's grace and power, performed great wonders and signs among the people. Acts 6:8

But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it.Ephesians 4:7

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-not by works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:8-9

Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. 2 Peter 1:2

Grace is a gift of the father, like everything else!

Freely given, once and for all in Christ Jesus...

Salvation

The gospel of Christ Jesus is good news.

  • It brings hope.
  • It brings reconciliation.
  • It gives purpose
  • it gives instruction
  • it gives knowledge
  • it gives practical advice

Yet the greatest things about the gospel is that it provides the answer to filling that void that only the Creator God can fill for all mankind. The restoration.

Salvation

The biblical overview is the saving of the human soul from sin, which separated mankind from his creator father and it's consequence.

What is biblical definition of sin, which so easily besets us?

It is interchangeable with deliverance or redemption.

It is given through grace by the creator God, an individual's free will and acceptance of Jesus as Lord and Savior then following biblical instructions because of love, also the truth you know and sets one free from the transformation or renewing of the mind through the word of God and the power of his holy spirit..

Lord God almighty i want to be saved, i confess my sin and accept Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior. Fill me with your Holy Spirit. Thank you. Amen

Redemption

Redeeming mankind from sin, that has separated them from the love of God.

This is accomplished through Christ Jesus.

An action of saving.

A restoration.

Clearing of debt.

The buying back.

Tips

Prayer is at it's simplicity, talking to God.

  1. Acknowledging God
  2. Honoring God
  3. Speaking the will of God
  4. Speaking your heart desires
  5. Thanking God

All of this is because you believe God, you have faith in his promises and the assurance that like salvation everything has already been done and all is needed is your agreement in the earth, for the intangible to become tangible.

Identification in Christ Jesus, Alone

God only recognizes Jesus!!!

So knowing everything about Jesus is paramount to the christian experience.

When you confess Jesus as Lord and Savior, you are recognized as a child of the living God that we know from the Christian bible.

God is not for religion. He is for relationships.

Organized religion is man's panacea for being involved in what God through Christ Jesus did. It's our way of getting involved in the process the God already called done.

When Jesus died on the cross, rose from the dead and ascended into heaven the work of redeeming mankind was complete.

Done and Done.!

The human involvement is only to accept what was done and follow the example, instructions and directions laid out in the manual, God's will and testament, known as the Bible.

Every designer or creator sets up a set of rules on how to effectively use the design or created object.

The bible is any follower of Christ Jesus' manual! Their handbook to living life to the full as best thy understand through the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Reading it reinforces the knowledge of Christ Jesus, the only begotten son of God, who was given to give hope that we can all once again see the face of God our creator.
