Beautiful Verses from Our Noble Qu'ran (1)

1. Surah Al-Fatiha...The Opening

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, most Merciful...
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, most Merciful...

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, most Merciful...

Praise be to God. He possesses the praise of all creatures, or that He [alone] deserves their praise. The One truly worthy of worship; Lord of all Worlds. The One Who owns all of creation: humans, jinn, angels, animals .. ALL ..

In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful.

The One who possesses ‘mercy’, which means to want what is good for those who deserve it.

Master of the Day of Judgement: that is, the Day of Resurrection.

we reserve worship for You [alone]

show us the way to the straight path...

the path of those whom You have favoured, with guidance not [the path] of those against whom there is wrath, and nor of those who are astray.

2. Surah Al-Baqarah...The Cow

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, most Merciful...
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, most Merciful...

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, most Merciful...

This, Book, which Muhammad (pbuh) recites, in it there is no doubt, no uncertainty, that it is from God. It ‘guides’, for the God-fearing, namely, those that tend towards piety by adhering to commands and avoiding things prohibited, thereby guarding themselves from the Fire;

who perform it giving it its proper due; and of what We have provided them, that is, of what we have bestowed upon them, expend, in obedience to God;

and who believe in what has been revealed to you, namely, the Qur’ān; and what was revealed before you, that is, the Torah, the Gospel and other [scriptures]; and of the Hereafter, they are certain, that is, they know [it is real].

Those, as described in the way mentioned, are upon guidance from their Lord, those are the ones who will succeed in entering Paradise and be saved from the Fire.

3. Surah Al- Imran... The Family of Imran

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, most Merciful...
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, most Merciful...

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, most Merciful

He it is Who forms you in the wombs as He will, as males or females, white, black or otherwise. There is no god except Him, the Mighty, in His Kingdom, the Wise, in His actions.

4. Surah An-Nisa... The Women

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, most Merciful...
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, most Merciful...

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, most Merciful...

And those that believe, and perform righteous deeds, We shall admit them to Gardens underneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide;and We shall admit them to plenteous shade, that is everlasting [shade], never replaced by any sun, and this is the shade of Paradise.

5. Surah Al-Ma'idah...The Table

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, most Merciful...
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, most Merciful...

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, most Merciful...

and whoever saves the life of one, by refraining from slaying, it shall be as if he had saved the life of all mankind

6. Surah Al - An'am...The Cattle

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, most Merciful...
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, most Merciful...

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, most Merciful...

Whomever God desires to guide, He expands his breast to Islam, by casting into his heart a light which the heart expands for and accepts, and whomever , God, desires to send astray, He makes his breast narrow , unable to accept it, and constricted, extremely tight , by which the heart of the misguided one as if he were engaged in ascent to the heaven, when he is charged with [the obligations of] the faith, because of the hardship for him therein. So, God casts ignominy, chastisement, He gives Satan authority, over those who do not believe.

7. Surah Al-Araf...The Battlements

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, most Merciful...
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, most Merciful...

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, most Merciful...

This is, a Book that is revealed to you — addressing the Prophet (swt) — so let there be no inhibition, [no] constraint, in your breast because of it, to convey it — for fear that you might be called a liar — that you may warn thereby  those who believe, in it.

8. Surah Al-Anfal - The Spoils of War

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, most Merciful...
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, most Merciful...

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, most Merciful...

For, believers are those who, when Allah is mentioned, feel a tremor in their hearts, and when they hear his revelation rehearsed, find their faith strengthened, and , put all their trust in their Lord.

Chapter 8, verse 2.

9. Surah At - Tawbah, The Repentance.

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, most Merciful...
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, most Merciful...

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, most Merciful...

If good befalls you, it distresses them; but if disaster strikes you, they say, "We took our matter [in hand] before," and turn away while they are rejoicing.

10. Surah Yunus - Jonah

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, most Merciful...
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, most Merciful...

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, most Merciful...

Then has there not been a [single] city that believed so its faith benefited it except the people of Jonah? When they believed, We removed from them the punishment of disgrace in worldly life and gave them enjoyment for a time.

24. Surah Al - Noor - The Light.

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, most Merciful...
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, most Merciful...

112. Surah Al - Ikhlas - The Sincerity.

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, most Merciful...
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, most Merciful...

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, most Merciful...

God  illumines both the heavens and the earth with the sun and the moon. The description of his Light, in the heart of a believer, is as a niche in which lies  a lamp. The lamp is in a glass case. The misbāh is the torch, AND the wick that is lit; al-mishkāt is a recess that does not penetrate [to the other side]. It is as if it were a glittering star, a light giving star that repels darkness. It is fed from the oil of a Blessed Tree, an olive tree that is neither of the east or the west, but from inbetween the two. No harm from cold or heat and befall it.The oil from this Blessed Tree is so pure that it would almost glow of itself although no fire has touched it.Allah guides by this light the believer to his light.. to Islam whom Allah wills.

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, most Merciful...

Say: ‘He is God, One

God, the Self-Sufficient, the One Who is always sought at times of need.

He neither begot, for no likeness of Him can exist, nor was begotten, since createdness is precluded in His case.

Nor is there anyone equal to Him’, neither match nor comparison
