Believers are not condemned

If you are a born again Christian, then you don’t have to feel self condemned. You have to believe what the bible says, that once God saves you from your sins, you are sealed until the day of redemption.

You don’t have to feel guilty about what you have done in the past, because the bible tells us in Isaiah 1:18, “come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.”  So many Christians are still feeling guilty about their past, when the word of God plainly says in I John 1:9, “if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”  This guilt that you are feeling, is a tool that the devil is using against you, he always want to bring your past up to you, but you that are born again know that the devil is a liar and the author of it.  The devil can’t condemn a child of God.  Paul lets you know in Romans 8:1 “there is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.”

The devil was a liar from the beginning of time, way back in the Garden of Eden, but you as a believer, must trust God’s word for what it says.  You must be on guard at all times against the devil, who is the evil one, because he is slick, cunning, and a deceiver.  If you give the devil an inch, I guarantee you that he’s going to take a mile.  Be thankful, that God gave his only begotten Son Jesus Christ, to die for your sins, and because Christ bore your sins, you are not numbered with the condemned.

When we get sucked into the belief that we are forever tainted, we fall into the enemy's trap of consistently hauling around an anchor which forever holds us back. The Apostle Paul talks about walking away from all of this and pressing towards the mark. Sure, you can bet satan will be throwing out boobytraps and tripwires, but that's where the Holy Ghost comes in. Built in RADAR for that sort of thing, but there's a catch.

The catch is we gotta have the Holy Ghost and understand how the Comforter can indeed be unique in the ability to show us that "BLIP" on the screen when the enemy comes within range. However, not even the best tracking systems work when we don't know how to use them or haven't tried plugging them in or hitting the "ON" button.
