Eat few leafs daily to be free from sickness of any type.

Most Homes in our locality in Vijayanagar,Bangalore had a "Tulasi Ma" plant in front of there homes. After coming to settle down for a peaceful life in a village in Tamil Nadu I find no one in the village or our Layout is having "Sri.Tulasi Ma's" plant in their homes. In our locality we are the only Brahmin family. and there are only 5 houses in 14 acres of compounded wall layout with a wide gate and two so called security guards from Assam who are working 12 hours and are paid Rs.5,000 for 30 days work with out any holiday. We had brought Sri.Tulasi plant with the Brindavan and also few saplings which we planted in our compound. The leaves from this plant are used daily for pooja of our family Guru and Deity which were presented at the time of our marriage.Flowers are secondary to Tulasi leaves. The name itself is so holy that many persons name their homes as "TULASI" to get the blessings of godess on their homes also.A chewing tobacco manufacturer used the name "TULASI" and hit the market so high that another chewing tobaco manufacturer lost many of his customers since the name of his brand was not so holy. Many herbal manufacturers use the name on their product as having its contents tulsi powder, oil, bark and leaves of plants.Every hindu family belonging to a particulor community and caste worship TULASI each year on a particulor lor day of the month each year by lighting oil lamps and electric bulbs of various types around the plant and even keep the plant inside the prayer room of their homes and do pooja each evening for that particulor month on all the days.Baby's born during this month are supposed to prosper in their life and bring good luck to the parents. The bby if it is female is named as TULASI and if it is a male it is named as:- krishna, krishnaraj, krishnamurthy, krishnadas, krishnarao, krishnabhatt, kishnakant, krisnaram, krishnaprasad, krishnachar, krishnaiyer, krishnaiyangar, ramkrishna and any name that has a significance to the name of krishna attached to it. The story of TULASI is written in some form as it suits best of on presentation to the readers and listeners by many sages of India. You can read the story on the internet too.It is VASTU friendly and all sorts of defects in the construction of a house goes away if the plant TULASI is put in front by the side of the main road or facing the house in front of the house. If you just eat 3 leaves of TULASI daily your sickness of any kind is CURED.

Yes we have TULASI TEA as suggested by a commentator here.

I also wish to say we have TULASI Soup in a hotel here in HOSUR - Tamil Nadu.
