Broken Parts of Your Heart
Not feeling the "Couple" Love
Anniversaries, special occasions, holidays, and events like Valentine's Day can be a wonderful thing if you are madly in love and your relationship is in a good place. It can be fabulously wonderful if you get the opportunity to spend a part of that day or occasion doing something special with your loved one.
However, there are many people who are not looking forward to that special day. There may be many reasons for this resistance to the big day. Reasons like broken or struggling relationships, divorce, separation, abandoned, widowed...the list continues.
Even in a good relationship one might feel a bit lost or lonely on a special day. All that pressure and stress of making it a special day can lead to arguments or misunderstandings. Maybe all the fuss, or lack of fuss, has put a spotlight on your relationship making you wonder if it is as stable as you thought it was. No matter what the reason, many will be faced with sadness and loneliness on those highly publicized romantic days like Valentine's Day.
The Search Within
It is during times like these when we are drawn deep inside ourselves. Looking...searching...for answers...for fulfillment...for love. Longing...hoping...praying...that we are lovable.
I invite you to this path right now. I am here, holding your hand so that it doesn't feel quite as lonely. Inviting you to keep walking and to not run away. Walk to the answers instead of running away carrying all of that pain which you have buried so deep inside...where you thought no one would notice. Stay with me. You are stronger than you know!
It is time to search within. It is safer here than you might feel at first. There is a rush of emotion that gusts toward you but do not run. Walk a bit further. Go to that still small place where all of the right answers live. The answers are here, the answers to all of your longings for love and peace.
If you search with an open heart then you might be united with a small voice that says, "I AM here. I AM the One who created you from the very beginning. I AM the One who made you with a need to love. I AM the One Who wants to show you what real love is. Stop searching outside of yourself and join Me on the inside. Let Me show You love."
Let Me show you Why
I loved you when I made you. When i gave you that birthmark and colored your hair. Wavy, curly, straight...you know the one i chose for you. Some parts of yourself cause you to often question why I would make you like that. Come talk with Me and let Me show you why. I created everyone with a unique purpose and a unique body and unique personality. Let Me show you why. I created you to desire a relationship with Me. Daily relationship. You are searching and longing for so many different things and I have all the answers. Patiently listen and allow Me to share with you. The desires of your heart...I put them there. The longings of your heart...I put them there. That need to be loved unconditionally...I put that there too. The answers to it all...I have them here waiting for you. Come closer and let Me in.
A Time to Be Quiet
When we quiet our minds and all that is around us...we are often met with the One who was waiting for just a moment with us. A moment to talk, to listen, to feel, to be loved.
We live in a fast-paced world that promotes speed and random busyness. We are not really wired for this, at least not all the time. It is only when we quiet it all down, even if it is just for one minute, that our heart rate slows down and our breathing has a chance to deepen.
Just Breathe.
Let God in. He is the One Who was waiting for you to give Him just a moment. He is the One who really does love you. Let Him show you Love. Pure Love. The kind of unconditional love that only God can give you.
Promise of Love and Peace
Ephesians 6:23 in the Bible tells us that God offers peace to those who believe on Him and love with faith. Not only does God offer love but with His love comes peace. Sweet and precious peace.
Promise of Love and Joy
Let God show you His love.
"As the Father has loved Me, so have I loved you. Abide in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love. These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full."
Jesus shared that for us in the Bible in John 15:9-11(ESV) . The "Father" is referring to God, the Father.
