Circle of Influence

Our world is running a mock! What can one person do? We cannot single handed make it all right. At some point in time we pray for our government leaders, churchs, communities’ local and across the globe and family and friends. Wrestling in my mind seeing the big picture of a world that I am less than a mere speck in, led me to frustration but an epiphany as well!

Circle of Influence

Again, what can one person do?  We can tend to our own immediate circle of influence, yet, that’s where we have been blindsided.  Our circle of influence connects us to the whole family of God, circling the globe beyond total comprehension!

To make this point brief yet a bulls eye, this is the deal….Being a member of such a family gives us the power to make a difference on that large scale.  We at times are blinded by the forest of trees.

Duty to pray

We must pray for every Christian around the world to pray, for Gods deliverance and the fortitude to endure.  Not that we should cease praying for a specific area or cause, just pray to prick each of us to pray.  What ever the cause, be it prejudice, abortion, hunger, hatred… the problems are everywhere and we all are aware they exist.  Each of us have different callings at different times, be it the mission field, pulpit, homemaker, education, government, the list is endless, but we are all called to pray.

We can agree

We can agree in the power of prayer.  So, pray for all Christians to pick up the pace in prayer, dumping complacency.  Pray we stay plugged in to the source for a surge that touches people we don’t personally know, in struggles we are not intimate with; praying outside our circumstances.

Let the domino effect of prayer circle the earth bringing comfort until He returns!

1 Thessalonians 5:17...pray without ceasing.

The thought is invigorating. Getting a commitment even a small scale is difficult, but you got it...."ignition on, engage, move forward and pray without ceasing"

Truly a new landscape would and will one day unfold!

Thank you for your encouraging comments:)

Bless you!

Good Timely, simple, to the point, outstanding. Ignition ON, ENGAGE... and move forward... "pray without ceasing"

About everything, all the time. Understanding that 'our circle' is very important. Do what you know to do and be yourself while you do it.

What would happen if every church could come into agreement and take one issue each and pray just on that issue for a whole year, do you think we could see those mountains move?

Blessings, L.

Amen! I love your message here. We do need to pray, to commune with God, each and every day, all day. Thank you for your warm and gracious heart.

Sokfa, thank you for returning. You are right about the idea. Of course the thought was delivered from prayer, no way I could come up with that one by myself:)

So the dominoes are in motion...

Timely, what a remarkable Hub to start my day with! You are so correct in saying we need to be knocked out of our complacency as we are ALL called to pray. There is no question there, and we shouldn't be making it one! Thank you for this Bull's eye Hub! And "timely" reminder

Blessings and grace to you this day

Really great idea - domino effect of prayer, praying to prick others to pray. it is not the kind of thing that easily comes to a person's mind.

Bless you Quill.

Great quote, I am sure it would be the nerve connected directly to His heart.

I hope all is going better for you, as you have been in my prayers:)

The power of pray reminds me of a quote by Charles Spurgeon..."Prayer is the slender nerve that moves the mighty muscle of God.

Great hub sister...
