Daniel 2012: Kahana's Voice

This year has been a watershed year. As we approach the final weeks of 2012, there is an overall feeling of doom and gloom and the biblical prophecies appear to be more prominent than ever. Some will talk of the economies in Europe and America. Others will point to the threatening militarism rising throughout the world. There will be those that see the failure of world leaders to accomplish anything of significance by supporting the Arab Spring, which now is entering Arab Winter under the dominance of rightwing groups sponsored by Al Queda or the Muslim Brotherhood. It is easy to imagine an Iran with nuclear weapons, and a North Korea with its ballistic missle raining down, propelling this world into the next world war. A reborn Russia and an economically dominant China casting a shadow over western recovery hopes. This year, more than any other has seen the world change and revolve in ways that were never appreciated and perhaps never anticipated. We have people in this world that will sell their kidneys for an Ipad but don't have food to feed their families. Radicals that run through the streets with guns and rocket propelled grenades, but can't even take the time to hug their wives and children, whom they'd willingly sacrifice for their absurd cause. Children that have their Gucci shoes and Versaci clothes, but will never have a job once they graduate. Countries like Spain where 25% of the population is unemployed, relying on a government to secure more cash handouts to see their way through until tomorrow, while they sit in Starbucks drinking Lattes and wondering what will become of them. Today the pilots of Japanese war planes and Chinese patrol ships exchanged angry words over the uninhabited Daiyu Islands, each warning the other to stay away from 'their' sovereign territory. A president that four years ago said "Yes we can," and a country that having proved "No he can't" has given him another four years to spiral downwards into oblivion. The same man that promised his Jewish voters that he stood firmly behind Israel but didn't mention that was in order to place the knife in their back, disguised as F16 fighter jets sold to a more radicalized Egypt. Yes, this has proven to be a most interesting year as we count down to 2013, the year that we may very well begin to see the strength of Daniel's prophecy from Chapter 12. Remember, there was no Chapter 13. It all ended with Chapter 12.

Let's look at Chapter 12 and See what it had to say:

(ז) וָאֶשְׁמַע אֶת-הָאִישׁ לְבוּשׁ הַבַּדִּים, אֲשֶׁר מִמַּעַל לְמֵימֵי הַיְאֹר, וַיָּרֶם יְמִינוֹ וּשְׂמֹאלוֹ אֶל-הַשָּׁמַיִם, וַיִּשָּׁבַע בְּחֵי הָעוֹלָם: כִּי לְמוֹעֵד מוֹעֲדִים וָחֵצִי, וּכְכַלּוֹת נַפֵּץ יַד-עַם-קֹדֶשׁ--תִּכְלֶינָה כָל-אֵלֶּה.

7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, when he lifted up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and swore by Him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and a half; and when they have made an end of breaking in pieces the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

The only time the holy people had power is when they were a distinct kingdom or tetrarchy.The first time was when Abimelech, son of Gideon had himself proclaimed around 1120 BCE.The last time was with the fall of Bar Kochba in 135 ACE.A period of 1255 years.At 1.5 times that would 1882.5 years or our year, thereabouts, of 2017 from the end of the 2^nd Roman-Jewish War.There’s an interesting phenomena regarding 1255. It is made up of two prime numbers. (5X251). Each prime number is used only once and this relates to the article of Rediscovering the Exodus 6. As I mentioned in that article, the use of prime numbers, using only a single prime number once has to be intentional and has to be delivering a message. What was this hidden message of Daniel? That there would be someone to see the pattern in the future. Math is a universal language, unchanging through time and as the angel says, only a select few will understand its significance.

ז וָאֶשְׁמַע אֶת-הָאִישׁ לְבוּשׁ הַבַּדִּים, אֲשֶׁר מִמַּעַל לְמֵימֵי הַיְאֹר, וַיָּרֶם יְמִינוֹ וּשְׂמֹאלוֹ אֶל-הַשָּׁמַיִם, וַיִּשָּׁבַע בְּחֵי הָעוֹלָם: כִּי לְמוֹעֵד מוֹעֲדִים וָחֵצִי, וּכְכַלּוֹת נַפֵּץ יַד-עַם-קֹדֶשׁ--תִּכְלֶינָה כָל-אֵלֶּה.

ח וַאֲנִי שָׁמַעְתִּי, וְלֹא אָבִין; וָאֹמְרָה--אֲדֹנִי, מָה אַחֲרִית אֵלֶּה. {פ}

ט וַיֹּאמֶר, לֵךְ דָּנִיֵּאל: כִּי-סְתֻמִים וַחֲתֻמִים הַדְּבָרִים, עַד-עֵת קֵץ.

8 And I heard, but I understood not; then said I: 'O my lord, what shall be the latter end of these things?' {P}

9 And he said: 'Go thy way, Daniel; for the words are shut up and sealed till the time of the end.

Daniel did not understand. It was not his role to understand because the time for an answer would have been so far in the future it would be inconceivable and unfathomable to him. But now is the time that we can start making sense of his vision. Daniel served his purpose to pass the message on. It is not the role of the prophet to resolve the issues, only to bring them to light. Seek not a prophet to save our world. Only we, as a united people have the ability to do so.

י יִתְבָּרְרוּ וְיִתְלַבְּנוּ וְיִצָּרְפוּ, רַבִּים, וְהִרְשִׁיעוּ רְשָׁעִים, וְלֹא יָבִינוּ כָּל-רְשָׁעִים; וְהַמַּשְׂכִּלִים, יָבִינוּ.

10. Many shall purify themselves, and make themselves white, and be refined; but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand; but they that are wise shall understand.

This does not require much explanation.Those who stand on pedestals and preach to us as paragons of wisdom and knowledgeable regarding religion, dressed in white will often conceal the blackness within their hearts.They are self-serving, using their position for economic advantage and self-promotion. They share nothing in common with the prophets of old or those that preached/preach simply because they were/are compelled to do so without reward and often suffering for it. Beware those that wrap themselves in a mantle of white righteousness whether they be Christian, Islamic, Rabbanite Jew or Karaite Jew. We must not make the error in assuming that God no longer speaks through prophets only appreciate that not all those that supposedly speak for Him, actually do. Nor should we assume that there are all the books that have been written that will ever be. God's involvement in our lives, in our world is a never ending story, so why would we assume that all that is to be written has been, and all that is to be said will never be heard again? If we fail to hear or see, it is not that the Lord has grown silent, only that we have closed our eyes and stopped our ears.

יא וּמֵעֵת הוּסַר הַתָּמִיד, וְלָתֵת שִׁקּוּץ שֹׁמֵם--יָמִים, אֶלֶף מָאתַיִם וְתִשְׁעִים.

11 And from the time that the continual burnt-offering shall be taken away, and the detestable thing that causes appalment set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

A very simple prophecy not shrouded in any mystery as far as I'm concerned. The site is the Temple, where the altar used to stand. What is an appalment is the Dome of the Rock, the presence of which is an affront to God and the paganistic belief in flying horses and a man entering into the heavens, hands covered in innocent blood, upon such a creature defiles everything that the foundation stone stands for. To have our holiest of places defiled in such a manner is the ultimate insult. When did this happen? Most records say the construction began in 684 and continued until 691 ACE. Since a year is but a day unto the Lord, then the start of the final days began between the years 1973 to 1981. Before I examine that particular time period, it’s time to mention that 1290 is made up of four prime numbers used only once. (2x5x3x43). This is significant because once again it is affirmation that if you see the key, then you can unlock the prophecy. So what happened in that time period; Israel entered into the period of false security and chose to believe in the sweet and honeyed words of men, rather than have faith in the Lord. It started with the end of the Yom Kippur War when Israel lost its air of invincibility and those in the west began to imagine and conceive of ways in which the state could be undermined and eliminated. Our fears led us to rely on false hopes and false promises. It ended with the signing of peace accords and non-aggression pacts which only provided the enemies of Israel with the ammunition to say, “See the Arabs pursued peace but Israel keeps on being intransigent and violating these accords.” Israel went from being the upholder of democracy and the David versus Goliath as it fought the combined forces of eight nations with 100 times the population to being the belligerent bully of the Middle East by those that understand the bigger the lie, the more believable it is. At that point Israel entered into its period of 45 years of purgatory. Held in a state of catharsis while nations teetered between taking its stance either for or against the Children of Israel. A virtual limbo where Israel is prevented from moving forward and the so called peace accords wither away like the damaged limbs on a tree that were never pruned properly.

יב אַשְׁרֵי הַמְחַכֶּה, וְיַגִּיעַ: לְיָמִים--אֶלֶף, שְׁלֹשׁ מֵאוֹת שְׁלֹשִׁים וַחֲמִשָּׁה

12 Happy is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.

Again a prophecy that is easy to interpret when we take into consideration the passing of the 45 years from the onset of the purgatory. Not surprisingly, 1335 like the other numbers in this chapter, is also made up of prime numbers used only once and this time there are three of them (3x5x89). Notice that we have talked about three distinct numbers, each made up of primes used only once, but one consisted of 2 primes, another 3 primes and the last, 4 primes. Coincidence, hardly. As those that have come to know me, there are no coincidences when it comes to the Lord’s guidance but instead carefully planned clues that have been laid for one whom has eyes to hear, and ears with which to see. If the time of peace is to come in the period 2017-18, then we are possibly entering into a very frightening five year period that will change our world. There is already so much evidence of that happening. Two systems of accounting within this single chapter and both pointing to the year 2017 or thereabouts. Hardly a coincidence.

יג. וְאַתָּה, לֵךְ לַקֵּץ; וְתָנוּחַ וְתַעֲמֹד לְגֹרָלְךָ, לְקֵץ הַיָּמִין. {ש}

13 But go thou thy way till the end be; and thou shalt rest, and shalt stand up to thy lot, at the end of the days.' {P

Again some have asked why I don’t go to Israel in this time of crisis. And to some I have given details as to why this will not happen, but such was the message already from Daniel. Until the final time, I am to continue in the direction I have gone, neither turning right nor left. That direction has brought me to Asia and that is where I am to remain until I stand up as is my lot, in that last day. Exactly what is my lot? That is for God to say. Thirteen sentences in a final chapter. Thirteen years into a final millennium. Only a few more weeks until we all see what perhaps Daniel saw but this time we will not be reading about it but instead living through it.
