Pray for our Pope, our Religious Leaders and for All Sinners
After reading a post on msnbc news online, "Catholic Nuns Group Stunned by Vatican for Radical Feminist Ideas," I cannot help but contribute my ten cents worth with my comments:
"May the light of Christ shine in us as we reflect on the truth in the words of God in Jesus. He said in John 15:4, "Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me."
As you may move along, I am here not to judge, but to enlighten in God's truth, the truth that sets us free as we may open our hearts, and listen to Jesus, with a heart willing to transform to ways leading to true 'freedom' in our hearts and souls, as we pray for one another for true peace and love within and around our being.
Is allowing Gay Marriage and abortion following our conscience? Will gay marriage and abortion uplift our moral values or not? If we allow our flesh to rule us more than our spirit and our true love for life, then will we not rather go back to believing what God in Jesus has always taught us, to love God more than anything else in this world and to love our neighbors by guiding them to his light and back to his flock? What will happen to our society and the future of our children if we continue to follow our 'self,' or our pride, more than our spirit? Will we not see ourselves lost all the more and hurting in ways that are not of God? May we continue to pray for guidance in the Holy Spirit that we may become more powerful than the evil one, and truly recognize Jesus as our True and One and Only Master?
As Jesus said in Matthew 17:17, while being confronted by a crowd who did not believe in him as he eventually rebuked the demon from a child who was eventually healed from epilepsy, "What an unbelieving and perverse generation. How long must I be with you!"
Let us continue to pray for our nuns and bishops, and for all of us, that we may be guided by the light of Christ and learn to heal from our inequities and our ways that veer us from the truth in God's words, and be forever blessed as we learn to humble ourselves God and his commands, as we may become truly stronger ever trusting Jesus and rejecting whatever is evil, being stronger against temptations of the flesh as we are in the spirit, and from our spiritual healing and renewal comes our physical healing as we are blessed in his holy name, as we remain, ever gracious, noble and true to our faith in Jesus, our Lord and Savior, our All in All.
If we truly love others, and our children, may loving God first guide us that his will be done, not ours, and in this, be truly healed and our nation blessed."
Soon enough, this was answered by AllPeopleRIghts, showing his disgust over people like me who, according to him, "because your heart and soul is so restricted to only accept those just like you (ie., according to him, a heterosexual), I would say that you have a long way to go in the area of emotional growth." And goes on referring to the Bible as "a book written by people 2000 years ago. It was not written by God."
And in my quick response I stated (I hope this was not deleted on same post):
"I am saddened by your hatred and your self adulating statements, AllPeopleRIghts. But while I am not here to judge you, I am here to help you and your gay and lesbian friends to be guided in the words of God in Jesus, which will 'never pass away, even if heaven and earth may pass away,' as in Matthew 24:35. Be it 2000 or more years after Christ, God's words will never change. And these very words of truth are not mine, but of our Lord and Savior Jesus.Christ.
In Colossians 3:5-6 and 9-10, Saint Paul in the guidance of the Holy Spirit has written, "Therefore, consider the members of your earthly body as dead to Immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed, which amounts to idolatry. For it is because of these things that the wrath of God will come upon the sons of disobedience." ... "Do not lie to one another, since you laid aside the old self with its evil practices, and have put on the new self who is being renewed to a true knowledge according to the image of the One who created him."
Dying to our 'self' as we learn to surrender our human weaknesses including sins of the flesh, at the foot of his cross, and to be cleansed by his blood, we may become one in Christ Jesus and live in his grace and by his light.
May all of us be saved from the wrath of disobedience and may we uphold God's words first, before we ever get into our next plan of action, making sure that it is not of evil, but of God, lest even in this lifetime, we may see his wrath unleashed. But when we continually abide in him, he will abide and remain in us, blessing us together with the rest of our family or love ones as in Psalm 37:4, "Delight yourself with the Lord and he'll give you the desires of your heart."
If being gay and being lesbian, and so with abortion, do not come out as promoting sins of lust, the respect to life and respect of God as our body is the very Temple of the Holy Spirit, then I may have NO reason to go against gay marriages or abortion, or do I?
Apparently, however, as my spirit tells me, these two, gay or lesbian marriage, and abortion, may lead one to sins of lust and to the abuse of one's body, and if in their union another life joins them, whether adopted, or through natural or artificial means, will this be in any respect, not disturbing? I am saddened, as for me, it is.
And I do not only look on its dire and unfortunate consequences at hand, but see what evil in the future may bring division in our relationships, and I grieve on what I may see and feel from within my heart as I see more relationships and lives lost where only evil may prosper in our hardened hearts, denying God's words, way beyond what is truthful, what is good, and noble.
Is this not a disrespect to God and to life?
And all these, sadly, do they not lead one to be lost in his confusion, despair and disillusionment, that with the absence of God in Jesus, one becomes more prone to fall into a trap onto an evil lair, that seemingly unending torture of pain and misery wherein one may compare it to 'living in Hell,' as in it is the absence of God, the absence of light, where there is total darkness, as a result of an incorrigible heart and spirit, with one's pride and ego consumed by malice and evil, blinded in hypocrisy just as many Pharisees in Jesus' time have remained blind as they refused to listen to God's words of truth and enlightenment.
If our conscience, in any way, cannot absolutely conform with God's words, is our conscience worthy of being identified as that of God, or is it evil that is making a concerted attempt in us to hide its true color and make it appear as that of God?
It is not the person I abhor, rather, it is evil that one should guard himself against, as I continue to pray that more people may understand better how evil works.
I have some gay friends myself and most of them are gifted with talents, while I respect them as children of God, I would rather see them happier using their talents in ways pleasing to God as it may be for the love of others, or helping others finish their education, but refraining from malice and contempt, or refraining from the abuse of hapless or unsuspecting victims, many times children.
While I too believe that Jesus loves all of us, he wants us to attune our actions to his words.
"Jesus being the 'word of God,' in him comes destruction of evil in us, his words are but sharper than the double-edged sword, very much active and alive, as we may live in him and with him, in his grace, no darkness shall rule us in his healing light, forevermore (KJOH)."
Jesus is calling on us to be smarter than the evil one, to be smarter than our great fore parents in Adam and Eve, who have fallen from the lure and evil deception of the serpent, and from the forbidden fruit of the tree of 'knowledge and wisdom' as the serpent describes it, may we not rely only on what we know, out of human wisdom, rather, rely more on God's wisdom and in his words.
Jesus calls on us to attune our life to God by loving him first, then surrendering our 'self' to him by dying to our 'self,' and humbly obeying his commands and his words, we may see ourselves victorious and triumphant over anything that is evil in our sight and thoughts..
In Hebrew 4:12, it states, "For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart."
How can we truly bring peace to others when deep in our mind and spirit we refuse to listen to the truth in God's words, and with this, are we not rather denying Christ than pleasing him?
Do you think allowing gay marriages and abortion to prosper in our midst may bring about true peace and happiness to all concerned or are we adding to their woes and problems, hurts and disappointments as they continue to live in the bondage of sin?
In Romans 8:2, may we be further guided, "Because through Christ Jesus, the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death."
"Worry not my dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in our faith, for as long as we ask forgiveness for our sins, in the sincerity of our hearts, Christ is there to forgive as he wants us to remain safe in his flock, for everything in this life is but a test of faith, that more may be enlightened, to what leads to 'true faith' (KJOH)."
If we know that they are in sin, will we not rather guide them to God's light that they may be healed in God's love and mercy and be redeemed from their evil ways that they may find greater peace in themselves, or would we add more pain to them and to society by remaining blind to what is true in God's words?
"May our true conscience, in the light of God's words, in Christ's righteousness, guide us as we continually pray invoking the Holy Spirit to stay strong against evil and learn to die from our 'self' first to help us realize how wrong we may become whenever we make decisions based on our own happiness and selfish desires, forgetting our love for God in Jesus, as he always calls on us to abide in him, to be righteous and to be perfect as God is perfect (KJOH)."
If the Pope and bishops, pastors, priests and nuns are there to guide us in accordance to God's words, may the good Lord Jesus bless them, and us too, for having been baptized in Christ, we have died in Christ, in His Spirit, we become one with Him as priests, prophets and kings, that in our love of others, we all may feel same way, how God loved us, however tough it may be, is it not His fullness in our being leading is in our spirit to His holy ways, as against the natural and sinful ways?
"The more we become vigilant against evil, the more we see greater freedom in our being for we live to love (KJOH)."

If we truly love our family, and our nation, the time to heal is now, not tomorrow, or years from now, but today, as we lay down our fears and pray for forgiveness in our hearts as we help build a nation that lives and believes in what is true in God's words in Jesus, and in his goodness, we may be blessed.
And we enjoin our Jewish and Muslim brothers, as well as those belonging to other faiths, to pray that we may all be guided in Christ Jesus, and be united as one, he being in all of us since the time of creation, he being our True Messiah in Hebrew, the Redeeming Masih in Islam, our Lord and Savior, our True Master and Healer, our All in All, here to save us all as he has the power to forgive all our sins, and free us from the bondage of sin, and in his loving mercy, be saved as we may live, by and in his grace, to become one with him through the Holy Sacrament of Baptism in the name of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and that we all may be forgiven from our sins, and may have eternal life in us.

God is spirit, and while we live in the flesh, it is in our spirit that we may better understand God. Before we were born God gave us a spirit and when we die our spirit will return to God.
The power of forgiveness is so freeing that the evil one is made powerless, with nothing to bind us with. In Christ crucified, by His death and resurrection, by faith and good deeds, we remain alive.
