End time Armageddon! Will the final outcome be War or Peace?

Everyone is talking about end times and Armageddon, why? People worldwide feel the despair of the world, the changes that are taking place and the acceleration of time, the changes in the climate, the worldwide sufferings of many. There is a prevalence of war, plagues and famine. All of these are prophesied in the bible and can be found in Matthew 24, Isaiah Chapter 13 and Chapter 14 and Revelation chapter 6, chapter 19 verse 11 - 17 & 19 --21 and Chapter 20 verse 7.

All of those who do not follow G-d's way either sit on the fence or follow the way of G-d's adversary, known by many names; serpent, devil, satan, beelzabub, the beast and many more. This lawless one (the same serpent as in the Garden of Eden) is due to reveal his identity soon. He has been active in the world for a very long time, subtly deceiving many, holding them back from learning the truth!

This beast is the 'father of lies'. His biggest lie is to say there is no G-d, or Son of G-d or Holy Spirit. In fact he says He is god, he also has antichrist who claims to be like the Son of G-d -and makes false claims to provide people with protection and salvation. Thirdly, the beast has a false prophet who is able to perform miracles.

This all sounds far fetched like some outrageous mythical film. You are quite right, Yet more people are readily able to relate to these mythical creatures in the fantasy world yet find it difficult to accept that G-d has angels and live in heavenly places etc. It is so easy for the world to accept evil, wickedness and demonic beings and to acknowledge their existence yet are convinced that G-d does not exist!

On the other hand there are people who are the reverse, accepting and acknowledging G-d's existence but reject all reference to anything evil or wicked even making excuses for people's behaviour. The classic is when people actually insist that G-d loves everyone including those who are obviously evil!

G-d never changes his mind, he planned this whole world and its events from start to finish. He authored the book of Genesis right through to the book of Revelation and therefore He does not change his mind. The book of Genesis explains how and why the world was created and how important mankind is in G-d's plan, it also demonstrates that G-d, His Son and the Holy Spirit where actively involved in the creation of this world. All through the different books of the bible are links between old and new testament books and prophesies that demonstrate again G-d's plan for mankind, and finally in the book of Revelation (the very last book of the bible) it describes, using symbolism as well as simple straightforward writing, how the world and mankind will come to a climax.

All through history there has been wars between those who have faith in G-d and those who have faith in idols or man. Today is no different. The wars occurring today are those between the Sons (and daughters) of G-d and the sons of satan (and his daughters). Nothing has changed. There has always been stories of fighting between Good and evil. Life's history is about evil fighting against goodness and evil appears to win but is conquered by goodness.

Nothing has changed. Bible stories (and there are many) cover many incidences where wars have taken place because evil kings, pharoahs etc have tried to reign and annihilate G-d's people yet G-d has given them victory over their enemies time and time again.

In these last days, G-d will not change, He will see His promises through and he will fulfill all of His prophesies! All those who commit evil will be judged and punished!

G-d is a loving G-d, full of grace and compassion and always willing to forgive those who turn from their evil ways and desire to become righteous.

Let there be no confusion about this! G-d does not love or condone evil!

There will come a time soon when evil will again attempt to annihilate G-d's people, this will anger G-d who will raise His hand to strike war against His enemies!

Armageddon! People relate this to a third world war or some say it is the end of the world.

There is a lot of confusion about this.

Har Magadon is a mountain in the southern part of Israel where many were slaughtered in 28 different battles, It is representative of the human battles that took place, that were led by human leaders. Whereas Armageddon is a spiritual battle, led my the Messiah ,that is to take place involving G-d's army against satan's army. It will be the very first of its kind never to have happened before in history.

Megiddo is the biblical name for Har Magadon (1 Judges 5:19)

Armageddon ( Revelation 16:16) "Then they gathered the kings together to the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon."

So we have a future war that will take place between the beast and his armies and the Messiah and His armies - who do you think will win? The analogy of the glass being full or empty again comes to mind.(for those who read my first hub you will understand what I mean).

Let us take one step further - what will happen after the war? Well take a look at the following passage, this is for all those who are sitting on the fence and need a little nudge to take the ultimate step of faith.

Isaiah chapter 11:3 " He (the Messiah) will not judge by what he sees with his eyes, or decide by what he hears with his ears: but with righteousness he will judge the needy, with justice he will give decisions for the poor of the earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth; with the breath of his lips he will slay the wicked. Righteousness will be his belt and faithfulness the sash round his waist.

The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf and the lion and the yearling together: and a little child will lead them. The cow will feed with the bear and their young will lie down together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox. The infant will play near the hole of the cobra, and the young child put his hand into the viper's nest. They will neither harm nor destroy on all my holy mountain, for the earth will be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. In that day the Root of Jesse will stand as a banner for the peoples: the nations will rally to him, and his place of rest will be glorious.

Isaiah 65:17 Behold, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind, ...for I will create Jerusalem to be a delight and its people a joy.

If you truly want to be involved in this new heaven and earth and this new Jerusalem, then you must ask G-d to show the way through His son the Messiah Yeshua. He is the only way to receive this salvation and eternal life promise. There is no other way except through Him.

Remember this!

No matter how much wickedness you have been into in the past it is still not too late to turn your life around. All you need to do is want to change, ask for forgiveness for your past and naming the sins up to the Almighty helps to put it all into perspective.

Step 1:Tell Yeshua that you would like to change your life to follow His ways. Tell him you.realise what you have done in your past has been in rebellion to him and the Father(G-d).

It is important you recognise your sinfulness and request forgiveness.

Step 2: Ask Yeshua to show you the truth, to help you to discern the truth in His Word (the bible). And to direct your path and to follow His ways.

Step 3: Ask Yeshua to cleanse you and renew you from the control of sin in your life. (He will set you free)

These three steps will show G-d you mean business. But only if you are sincere and mean what you say!

The next three steps you need to acknowledge Yeshua's promises to you. Jesus (Yeshua) says the following to YOU!

Step 1: Whoever believes and is baptised will be saved. I tell you the truth, no one can see the Kingdom of G-d unless he is born of water and the spirit...you must be born again.

Step 2: Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink, or about your body, what you will wear. ..for the pagans run after these things and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow...Ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened to you.

Step 3: I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.

Being baptized means to be immersed in water, which is when you die to the old self and on rising out of the water you become a new creature 'born again'. You need to seek baptism by finding a person anointed by G-d to do this with you. Baptist churches or a Calvary chapel or evangelical churches will do this. Ensure you understand the principles of water baptism before taking this step.

To be fully equipped to live G-d's way you need the counsellor to guide you, He is the third person of G-d. His role is to dwell in you so that you may link to G-d through the spirit and this means you would receive the gifts of the spirit to help you through the days ahead. Again you need to seek G-d to show you these things, read His word, Romans 8, 1 Corinthians 12 and Acts 2.

Once you acknowledge these steps you have made a covenant with G-d. By accepting His Son Yeshua, the Messiah as the one who died on the cross for you, You have agreed to believe you have been set free from the burden of sin and forgiven for past sins,. By faith you have also accepted that he has given you a gift of eternal life and therefore you will be a new creature born again into His kingdom and you will prayerfully ask Him to guide you to a place where you may complete the process by being baptized in water and in spirit. then you will indeed be set free and born into a new family- G-d's family. At this point however, you have received salvation.

From now on, after sealing this relationship with G-d and His son your saviour and Lord, you must start to walk in faith,believing He loves you, has forgiven you, and will watch over you forever. In return you are to be forever faithful to Him never turning to idols or statues to worship, never worshipping money or things, status or job, husband or wife more than your heavenly Father. Yeshua is your media in prayer. Pray to Him and he will mediate to the Father in your name!

Now go and tell a friend the Good News! That you are saved!
