European Christianity and the Antichurch

Rediscovering The True Church of Jesus Christ the Amen

Christianity started in Palestine as a fellowship;

It moved to Greece and became a philosophy,

it moved to Italy and became an institution;

it moved to Europe and became a culture; it came

to America and became an enterprise and when

a fellowship changes into an enterprise, it becomes a prostitute

From the Blog- True Discernment

It is a researched fact; religions die. Examples are Manichaeanism, a middle eastern religion that once existed in China and France and Zoroastrianism of Persia. The Buddhism that once flourished in India no longer exists and Christianity has undergone an unbelievable metamorphosis. The modern western church is truly an enterprise comprised of board members, marketing gurus and church planting association pastors who are lead not by God but by the hope of unseen church growth and 100% tithers. Most congregations, like the sheep they are known to be, don't have a clue where they are being led.

According to the historian Peter Brown in his monograph The Rise of Western Christendom: Triumph and Diversity, Ad 200- 1000 the movement that Jesus started and was crucified for is not the same Christianity that ended up in ancient Rome. According to the Bible Christianity can be traced to the Apostle Paul and his teachings in Antioch, where the followers of Jesus were first called "Christians", a once great principality in what is today, southern Turkey. But, argues Peter Brown "... "Our" Christianity, was created in the seventh century and not before" ;"Our" Christianity, meaning Western Christianity or the Christianity most follow today.

Most pastors are stumped when it comes to explaining why there is no real power in today's church. Why aren't miracles happening as they did in the Book of Acts? Jesus said His followers would do greater works than he did, yet the western church is reeling from scandal after scandal, insecure leadership set on micro- managing congregants, church growth marketing schemes, and building projects that pit pastors against each other. Where is Jesus in all of this? Study hard and long enough and you might reach the conclusion that He isn't in any of this modern variety of Christianity. Christianity is a religion. Jesus never advocated any religion. In fact he was against the religious leaders of His day and their political overlords the Romans.

Another historian of religion, Philip Jenkins in The Lost History of Christianity is simply erudite; "religions die",he writes, while some live on as remnants or morph until they become something totally different than they set out to be. Jenkins goes further in his arguments for a lost history of Christianity. In the beginning Constantine declared the remnant followers of Jesus "heretics" but instead of being destroyed they endured persecutions and finally went underground where they resurfaced in Asia. Later after having a vision Constantine embraced Christianity sort of and made it Rome's state religion. No wonder the United States is so afraid of keeping Church and State separated, that is until election time then every politician becomes saved.

In yet another monumental work Philip Jenkins takes us back to the true roots of the followers of Jesus the Christ the Amen to Africa in The New Faces of Christianity: Believing the Bible in the Global South. Africa is un- apologetically reasserting its paramountcy from a firm foundation rooted in the Bible. Archbishop Benjamin Nzimbi of Kenya expressed African Biblical tradition in the following statement - "Our understanding of the Bible is different from them. (meaning European fundamentalists, emphasis is mine) We are two different churches".

Some recent years ago at The Worldwide Anglican Communion an African Anglican Bishop and an Euro-American Episcopalian Bishop squared off over scriptural interpretation. The western Christian argued that scripture must be "interpreted in light of modern scholarship and contemporary mores". In a final lethal blow the African countered with "If you don't believe the scripture, why did you bring it to us in the first place?" These types of confrontations are necessary to find Jesus in all this disarray. These confrontations also shed more light on world dominion and slavery all in the name of "the Lord" and lifts the veil that Europe used in order to rule the world since the Rome of Jesus' day. There is a verse in the Bible that says the Kingdom of God suffers violence and the violent take it by force, Matthew 11:12. The Kingdom of God was literally taken over by violent men who to this day use it to amass great wealth and enslave Gods' people to "Church Authority". They rule by guilt through tithe and offering based on a subtle manipulation of the Old and New Testament.

Historically the Church (traditionally the body of Christ) underwent a "schism" or radical split between the East and West "church" in 1054 AD. The teachings and the disciples that Jesus appointed to lead His people were displaced by the two most powerful European powers of the 11th. century, Greece and Rome, who together with France and other European nations, mounted the Crusades 40 years later. It was the pretext of Muslim encroachment on Jerusalem that served as the backdrop to the Crusades, that in essence, let the true teachings of Jesus and His Church die a peaceful death. When the true Church of the East asked for help they were ignored. When the dust finally cleared the Greeks and Romans were the undisputed new standard bearers of Christianity.

The fight for God's Kingdom which began in Heaven between the Angels of God and the Fallen Angels of Lucifer has been going on, on many different levels throughout Christendom from generation to generation. Those who diligently seek after God are realizing that there is a parallel church at work in the world, an anti-Christ church that looks real but has no real power to transform lives for the best. This church is worldly, visceral, lustful and like the Piped Piper of myth is leading unsuspecting sheep not to Heaven but straight to Hell. And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord, Joshua 24:15. The truth of the matter is God never intended for mindless robots to serve Him but instead imbued us with "free will" or the ability to make choices whether rational or not.

Roman Imperial Theology and The Gospels

People in that part of the world (Europe) seem to have a special gift for aggressively taking what belongs to others, renaming it, and ultimately owning it. History has borne this to be true whether applied to animals, land, or people. Look through the human family and the Europeans have no real equals when it comes to global destruction. They are so good at it they have dubbed themselves superior to all people, the true chosen people of God, and masters of the universe.

Of course the Europeans didn't invent slavery but they sure as hell developed it into a science. How? They ignored their not very flattering history that included cave-dwellers and instead they reinvented themselves through myth, taking cues from the Greeks who were themselves are indebted to the Egyptians. The Egyptians had a penchant for carving their exploits in stone and writing everything down. So, when Rome entered the world stage, not only did they reap the benefits of being last in civilization but they also inherited a wealth of information from centuries of older civilizations. What they didn't inherit or know they made up.

Rome invented an Imperial Theology in which they voted in the senate to make their rulers "gods" after death. Later in the time of Jesus this title of god would apply to their living leaders as well Emperor Julius Caesar became Rome's first deity in 44 B.C. when he was assassinated by two senate members Brutus and Cassius, the world's first "liberators". The titles of these Roman gods of savior, God, Lord of the whole world, and Son of God, predated Christianity by at least seven decades yet most of the members of the modern Church of the West see no problem with this or how the Christian religious system could have been influenced by the Roman Imperial Theology. In 19 B.C. Vergil the Roman poet but also Rome's chief and first mythologist or Rome's earliest historian penned the Aeneid. The Aeneid is the story of Aeneas the founding father of Rome or Troy but this lie gets very tangled with the other founding of Rome tale of Romulus and Remus twin sons of Mars who was suckled by a she-wolf. Was Mars having an affair with a she-wolf or was she just a mistress or surrogate mother or wet nurse. These myths can become very complicated and they usually do. But, this is what happens when a people reinvent themselves as gods and the world says nothing or worse still, agree with the lie.

Even Josephus, the Jewish military traitor general and Imperial Roman historian said, " It is impossible that so vast an empire should be established without God's providence". To confess Jesus Christ as Messiah, Lord, savior, or God would have been treasonous and explains the story of why Jesus said what He said concerning paying taxes in Mark 12:16-17, " And they brought it. And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription? And they said unto him, Caesar's. And Jesus answering said unto them, Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's. And they marvelled at him.

The image and the writing clearly stated that Caesar was God. Jesus was not acknowledging Caesar as God but the fact this is what he determined by military force what he wanted people and demanded of all under the yoke of the Roman Empire. The Church that has defended genocide against America's native people and later enslavement of Africans to achieve the New Rome also boast an Imperial Theology. It is called European Christianity and it is as far removed from the teachings of Jesus as East from West.

Jesus called us to seek first the Kingdom of God in Matthew 6:33. Thanks to Truth Seekers like the late Dr. Myles Munroe, Sunday Adaleja, Bruxy Cavy, Jack Nelson-Pallmeyer, John Dominic Crossann and a growing army of others, the Kingdom of God is being reestablished here on earth as it is in heaven and the gates of hell shall not prevail. Religion and anti-church your days are numbered.....

This is a well written article - and it raises some very salient points! My own research in this area has led me to start reading from texts which were trimmed out of the bible for mainly political reasons. The dead sea scrolls are worth a look. I especially liked the Gospel of St. Thomas. The decision to remove that Gospel was clearly done because it undermined the authority of the institution of the church. I personally leaped at the chance to read something clearly less adulterated than the current incomplete text that is the commonly accepted version of the bible. There is so much more depth to the story of Christ than what is drip-fed by the priests from their pulpits. If only people would realize that their relationship with God is a personal responsibility and it doesn't need a man in a frock to act as a mediator!

Well done.

I believe that the issue with many Western churches and Christian groups is the wrong focus. As you stated, many focus on growth and numbers. I believe the focus should be prayer and Biblical preaching. I am happy to say that I am a member of a church that prays and preaches properly.

If we look at the great Welsh revival in the 1800s, we find that deep personal prayer was the driving force. People were drawn to the churches by God's power, not a human program or marketing initiative. Western culture need that again.
