"Faye's Daily Words Of Encouragement # 203 Today's Word Is : Consolation"

Defintion of the word Consolation: To comfort someone or to sooth from grief.  a reward for who participate in a contest but doesn't win.

Job chapter 15 - 11 : Are the consolation of God small with thee, is there any secret thing  with thee.

Luke chapter 6 - 24 : But woe unto you that are rich for ye received your consolation.

Romans chapter 15 - 5 : Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be  likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus.

Philippians chapter 2 - 1 : If there  be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the spirit, if any bowels and mercies.

2 Thessalonians chapter: 2 - 16 : Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself , and God , even our father, which hath loved us, and hath given hope through  grace.

Hebrews chapter 6 - 18 : That by two immutable things in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us.

Acts chapter 4 - 36 : And Joses, who by the apsotles was surname Barnabas, (which is, being interpreted, the son of consolation), a levite, and of the county of Cyprus.

Today's daily words of encouragement word is Consolation: Consolation means to console or comfort someone in any kind of pain, physical or mental.  It can also mean a consolation reward because you didn't win the major prize.  we all need consolations at some times in our lives, whether it's because of grief or sorrow, we all need encouragement to uplift our spirits. Just as God consoles us , when we're going through trials and tribulations , we also need to console our brothers and sisters in Christ.

So, if you see someone in sorrow or pain, go to them and give them consolations and the word of God, which will help them through the storms of life. sometimes, we need to be comforted, and consoled if we're in pain, sometime, just one word can lift us up. S, when you see a brother or sister in need of a encouraging word, console them with the word of God.

Yes, indeed. We cannot determine how we are able to help others but if we at least offer an ear, then we are in the act of consoling others.

Thank you for reminding me of this, creativeone59. I needed to hear it tonight.
