The bible says " For I was an hungred and you gave me meat, homeless and ye took me in, thirsty and you gave me drink. All of these are the traits that God want the children of God to have. He wants us to be kind and giving to stranger's. When they are hungry, give them food, and when they are thirsty give the drink, and there might be an occasion when we have to take someone into our homes, but as always pray and ask God about the stranger and the guidance to do the right thing.

Thank you for a thought provoking message.I pray that i will always feel the need of others. I remember as a child, my mother never turned down a stranger, she never allowed them in the house, but gave food, back in the 50,s there were a lot of men who knew they would be fed at our house, i think they were railroad hikers.

God Bless

Praise God we are no longer strangers to His promises and love! Now we turn around and give with the heart of God to all as if it were Jesus Himself we were doing it for!

Let it NOT be said to us that we didn't share and give from the resources God has blessed us with. We are blessed to be a blessing.

Always pray before taking someone into your house and be led by the peace of God.

When you take someone in you have to keep them prayed up so the spiritual bondages that there in doesn't come into your house and cause havoc. We love the people and don't accept the sin, or the bad spirits that are chasing them to come into our homes. This is all in the name of love-we fight for their freedom and stand in the gap!

Good lesson, Thanks!

Creativeone, one of my favorite biblical verses reads: "I am a stranger on earth; do not hide your commands from me." We do live in a foreign land but not alone for as you stated; "we have become one with him." All glory to God.
