The word for today is profit; we all look for profits on investment returns, or wework for profits on a job. This world is all about profit of one thing or another; the bible ask the question what shall it profit a man, to gain the whole world and lose his soul?, the soul is a very important of us, I think we all need to answer this question. If we win the lottery, and have money to burn, but doesn't have charity, we're no good to mankind or ourselves. In case we don't know what charity is; It's giving and being generous with your money. I guess when the bible ask the question; it was talking about the greed of man kind, we have to keep getting more and more money, becuase we never have enough.
Some of us appears to have more than enough money, but we never share it with the poor or needy. We can lose our souls,by becoming obsessed with getting more money and profiting in ways that's not godly. we shouldn't become obsessed with becoming rich by profiting from others financial lost. The truth is, our souls are more important than any profit gain, we can come up with. Our souls are precious and priceless; and money can't buy them.
