"Faye's daily words of encouragement" # 35 Today word os: Sacrifice"

Every day we make sacrifices of one thing or another and we have to make sacrifices for God because he made them for us.
Every day we make sacrifices of one thing or another and we have to make sacrifices for God because he made them for us.

"Faye's daily words of encouragement: # 35 Todays word is: Sacrifice"

Definition of the word Sacrifice: an offering; to give something valued for a thing or person that 's considered most valuable.

Exodus chapter 5 - 17 : But he said, ye are idle, ye idle : therefore ye say, let us go and do sacrifice to the Lord.

Psalms  chapter 4 - 5 : Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put tour trust in The Lord.

Psalms chapter 27 - 6 : And now shall mine head be lifted up, above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea I will sing praises, unto the Lord.

Mark chapter 9- 49 : Foe every one shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be salted with fire.

We all know that God sacrificed Jesus on the cross for our sins, so we in return,  we have to make sacrifices too. There are to many sacrifices in our lives, to sometimes move forward.  Sacrifices can be a good thing, if we're giving up something that 's bad for us for a good reason. Sacrificing  something for God's sake is always good a reason.

It's like sacrificing  for our children,  I'm sure we have all made sacrifices for our children sake, ; just  like God  sacrificed Jesus  for our sakes.  We all have to make sacrifices that's sometimes a hard choice, but if we're making the sacrifice for our Lord and Saviour, everything else will work out for the better, for us.

I love the stories in the Bible. They teach us what to do and what not to do and also how to treat each other. Love this.

It's so funny, I just finished reading about the sacrifice that Jesus made for us this morning. It really touches your heart what he went through. Not only was he lied on, hit, and spat upon, but the extreme physical pain he went through is unimaginable. He sacrificed so much for us, and all that is asked of us, is to show our appreciation for what he has done. I agree with you, we should willingly make sacrifices for him as well, and everything will truly bode well for us.

Even the sacrifices we make for others can in no way compare to the ultimate sacrifice Jesus Christ made for us.
