Definition of the word Heart: The body organ that pumps blood; the essence or core of anything.

Proverbs chapter 14 - 10 : The heart knoweth his own bitterness and a stranger doth not intermeddle with his joy.

Proverbs chapter 23 - 7 : For as he thinketh in his heart , so is he: eat and drink saith the to thee; but his heart is not with thee.

Jeremiah chapter 17 - 9 : The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?.

Matthews chapter 15 - 19 :For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornication, thefts, false witness, blasphemies.

We are all born with a living, and beating hearts, but it's what comes out of the heart of man that matters. If we're living our lives with all manner of evil doings, then we are living with a heart of deceit. People with deceitful hearts stay in some kind of trouble all the time. We as children of the living God , have to make sure that we have a pure heart and not a heart of hatred and deceit.

We should keep a watch on our hearts to make it functioning properly, and I'm not just talking about beating and pumping our blood. I'm talking about our actions of holding grudges, evilness and deceit within our hearts. Keeping our hearts pure is an act of praying and asking Gods forgiveness for holding grudges or any other bad feelings we are holding against our brothers and sisters in Christ.

We all have to be able to let go of our pass hurts in order to heal and be able to have happy and productive lives.
