Definition of the word Sabbath: The sabbath is a day of rest; That God made fro man, the seventh day of the week.
Mark chapter 2 - 27 : and he said unto them, the sabbath was made for man, not man for the sabbath.
Mark chapter 2 -28 : Therefore the son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.
Luke chapter 13 - 10 : And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath.
Ezekiel chapter 46 -1 Thus saith the Lord God; the gate of the inner court that looketh toward the east shall be shut the six working day; but on the sabbath it shall be opened ; and in the day of the new moon it shall be opened.
God's day of rest for mankind is on the seventh day of the week. As an adult, I really didn't know about the real sabbath ; until about twenty years ago, because 90% of the population does Sunday worship. When I found out the truth about the sabbath , and how it had been changed from Saturday to Sunday , I was angry. No one has the authority to change God 's sabbath.
I got very angry because because , most of the world 's people are doing Sunday worship , thanks to the Roman Catholic church. This sabbath information is very misleading until you read it your self and know the truth for yourself. This is the reason our brothers and sisters in Christ shouldn't take anyone's words pertaining to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. We have to all diligently search out the true information on Gods word or we will be mislead , like the sheep at to the slaughter.
I now, try to live my life by the seven day sabbath ;on Saturday instead of Sunday like we originally thought. We are not suppose to judge anyone else for their sabbath choice and I don't; whatever sabbath you chose, just serve God in truth and honesty.
