Definition of the word Cross-A symbol composed of a horizontal and vertical line of interest line intersecting at or near their center, a burden, or a affliction.

Matthews chapter 16 - 24 : Then said Jesus unto his disciples, if any man will come after me, let him deny him self; and take up his cross, and follow me.

Mark chapter 10 - 21 : The Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, one thing thy lackest: go thy way sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and take up thy cross and follow me.

Phillipian chapter 3 - 18 - 19: For many walk of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies for the cross of Christ. 19. Whose end is destruction whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.

We all are suppose to deny ourselves, take up our cross and follow after Jesus; indeed. Denying ourselves, sometimes is a hard task to follow; but if we can pray about it, asking God for his help to help us to move self out of the way. The cross is a burden that's hard to bear, but we must bear it by putting on the whole armor of God; praying for strength and courage.. and pick up our cross and follow after Jesus. Even working our ministry, self sometimes get in our way, but we have to deny ourselves and sometimes our families because we want to be worthy of God's calling.
