Few experiences of a lifetime (Part II)

This world is so dilemmatic. Unexpected and unusual situations occur at times when we might have just started feeling that we are away from all the chaos. Meaningless possessions that fail to make any sense are more dear to people than anything else.

Sometimes, I wonder why do I think so much about all these things. I can rather choose the same way to live that most of the other creatures do. I can silently sit in my courtyard having tea and reading newspaper, criticizing the people out there. But all of a sudden, I find myself hanging above a strange hollowness. So, I start again - I start again to search for the questions to my answers.

As long as I remain busy in this task, I succeed to keep myself away from this world of blasphemy. But unlike an airplane running out of fuel, I need to drop myself down again. Thoughts that keep hitting me are so unexplainable, that sometimes I don't even get appropriate words to express them...perhaps because those words are lying somewhere in the dusty dictionary inside my cup-board. But who cares? Even 'humanity' today is a mere word lying somewhere in the same dictionary, may be next to the words that I keep searching for. So I'm just waiting for the day when I'll find those words and ultimately find 'humanity' and restore it back, where it should be.

As you keep writing, the words will come. Just continue to come up for air when your search becomes overwhelming. Spend some time with your happier thoughts.

You ask the questions because that is your role in society; never stop asking questions.

Thanks MsDora, I will try my level best, but I may need some time to come up with it.

Thanks Qudsia for commenting. I hope someday I'll find what I keep searching for from the day I was born.

Beautiful writing. Travel light - I guess is the way to go - don't get too attached to inanimate objects. People and animals are much more important than store bought possessions. I'll keep reading.

I like the comment by Deb to travel light and not get attached to objects that will long outlive us. I am amused by people who spend their every spare hour cleaning and maintaining a house that will long outlive them. Is it not better to spend the limited time we have in our lives nurturing our minds and souls instead?

Thanks again lynda for stopping by and taking time to read my hub. I'll definitely consider your advice. But I don't know what went wrong, the language I wrote or something else, but I think you took it the other way round what I actually meant to say..I don't get attached to inanimate things, but I've criticized those who do so.

Actually english is not my mother tongue so I am trying my level best to tackle it and write meaningful sentences. But often I either end up short on words or fail to make the sentences which can convey the exact meaning what I want to say. Anyways, I'll keep on trying :)

We all have to keep searching for the answers, digging deep within to find our higher selves. It's a never ending quest but more worthwhile than coveting possessions and collecting more material things. Well written hub. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Yes pedrn44, I agree with you. I've been in a mess due to my language. I want to write something, but due to the lack of knowledge of my language, i write something else.

Thanks for commenting madam. :)
