Find Him ...
Find Him HERE
We wake and roam into the day with a schedule that is captivating our minds. Rushing through the lists of places to go, things to be done. It starts from the beginning of a race each day. The blasting of an alarm that triggers the mechanism within, that forces our feet out of bed and onto the track of life. We step in with anticipation and the many thoughts that come to each particular race. So much running through our minds as we prep and plan for the completion of this event.
On this particular day, in which race are you entered and placed, are you ready to run to the end? Is your today, the birth of a child, or preparation for the main event? Does this day bring a surgery or medical appointment, the first day of school, a funeral? Is today’s race, a first or a last for you? Do we even know before we start? Are we prepared and have we readied ourselves?
We face the day alone at times. Thought processes of, “ I know exactly what is on the agenda and I have it all planned out.” “My strategy is set.” “I am in control of the events and or happenings surrounding my little circle of life.” How foolish to assume our importance. To use the “I” or “ME” that separates us from God. We are but mere vessels for the enactment of even a small part of this designed plan in life.
How much easier would it be to simply understand that to be here is to be cradled in the arms of God? Here is simply a preparation for the future we seek in Him. If we could stop at any given moment and in the stillness find the peace that is grace? This is His gift to us. Going in prayer to Him allowing His constant presence to envelop all that is we. Trusting that He is the moment. Knowing that He is allowing breath and eventual peace to calm the storm that may have moved in rapidly and without warning. At the same time, He may be a moment of enormous joy, and yet, even with this, we forget to breathe taking in the mere amazement of His power and glory.
Have you stopped and taken the first moment to breathe Him in and then breathe out in His grace. When we stop in the stillness of Christ alone we will find Him ~ HERE.
May you feel the Joy that is His Grace as you run your race?
HERE ~ Kari Jobe
Verse Psalms 46:10
“Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in the earth.”
Trust In God's Grace
The smile that will fill your heart as He dwells within it can be your food for life. I pray you find it here in this race of life. It can be difficult to not lose hope but, it can be amazing if you trust and believe in His promise of the cross. I know that if you do, all the moments and races will be easier, as you will have a running partner for life. All things in life are possible with and by His Grace. Even the tough stuff is doable with His guidance. We must be careful as the conceit of this world can be overpowering. We begin to lose sight of the only power that is justified. This does not mean that it will not be a challenge, for you to be a warrior for Him, as we all know warriors come under attack. The closer you come to His purpose, the more He will reveal Himself to you. He will be the armor you need and His grace will be sufficient. Faith is the power motor behind your works. His grace is the gasoline and He is driving your strength! Try never to forget we must humble ourselves to our captain as He knows the ropes. His understanding is constant and He is all knowing. If we trust in Him, the end of our races can be everything!
No scheme of man could ever come to the end He has for His children. So run your race, and remember first breathe Him in and don't forget to exhale with Him always.
Blessings to you ~ and peace in your stages ~
