GIVE YOUR LIFE AS SACRIFICE

THE HEART ATTACK

For one whole year, the Lord was teaching me on forgiveness. I had to forgive all those who done horrible things to me, and each time I would hear these words. “Father, forgive them for they do not know what they do” . A year before that, I had a dream and a angelic woman came to speak with me, she said that I must remember, when its my time to appear before the judgment seat to say those words and leave all the rest up to her.

Mat 16:25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.

Mar 8:35 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.

Luk 23:34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

Well two years after that dream, the Lord tested me. It was 10 in the morning, and suddenly I woke up from a severe pain in my chest. My whole body was sweaty and in tremendous pain, my heart felt like a hot iron rod was piercing through it. A man with dark hair was standing next to my bed, with his hand in my body and my heart in his hand; he was squashing the life out of it. He almost looked just like Satan, just older, almost like I could say that he was Satan's older brother. He did not look friendly or from heaven in any way. His eyes were black and with a evil gripping look in it. While in pain, he started to explain to me that a witch summoned for my life, but that the decision was mine. If I said yes, he would’ve taken her life, because like he explained to me, that she is in trouble and went in too deep into the ritual and was in disobedience.

While gasping for air and a break from the pain, the man hasted me on and said he doesn’t have all day, he must get back. I saw in my minds eye, Jesus hanging on the cross that day and saying those words, "Father, forgive them for they do not know what they do" . I sighed and looked at the man and said; "I forgive her, I’ll go" . At that instant, I saw Jesus suddenly, coming from out of nowhere, with His one hand raised in front of Him and speaking to the man to release me at once. Jesus smiled at me and He looked very proud of my answer that I gave the man. It was at that moment that I realized that Jesus was testing me on my willingness to sacrifice my life for Him. In the midst of trouble, and no Jesus to help me, will I still do the right thing like He taught me in the first place?

Jesus looked happy and made most of the pain go away. About three days later, I was fully recovered and experienced no more pain of after effect in my heart. The ghost pain was there for that three days, so I might engrave the experience into my memory. So that faithlessness would not convince me that it did not happen or I'm imagining things. That was all that I saw, but I just knew, that Jesus passed me on this test and that He was proud and smiling. Jesus also allowed the witch to live. I could just hope and pray that the second chance that she got from Jesus will serve her well and come to salvation and Jesus.

THE PRAYER FOR SALVATION

Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

If you wish to receive this Love of God and be one of His very own children and want to go to heaven for ever; if you wish to be free; if you wish for Jesus to help you with everything in your life; and if you do not belong to Jesus Christ yet, pray the following saying the words out loud:

Lord Jesus Christ, I welcome You as my Lord and Savior. I invite You to come live my heart. I ask and thank You for the forgiveness of all my sins. I ask to teach me about You and Your ways. Thank You Lord that I now belong to the Kingdom of Heaven. I receive You now. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Celebrate, you now belong to the Kingdom of Heaven and are a rightful child of God Himself!!

Forgiveness, Marliza, is often extremely difficult unntil we do come to the conclusion that the perpetrator has probably already forgotten the issue or just doesn't care. Consequently, it means that it is us left to shoulder the burden of the indiscretion as if we were hauling around a 200lb. bag. Forgive the individual and lose the burden. In the end, it is a matter of self-preservation and the return of peace for us as opposed to the worldly opinion of "Letting the sucker off the hook" which is not of our concern. Nice Hub and very realistic. "They know not what they do" is all well and good, but even if they do know, forgive anyway.

Thank you UG for your visit and comment. Yes, you are right, this was just an example of how many ways Jesus can come like a thief in the night and test us. Are we ready, for we do not know the day that He comes. I have found that God will 1. teach me, 2. clean me, and 3. then test me. This will go on until there is no cause for me to stumble. By now I have the trained heart to know that God is doing this for ME, not for Him, all just for me, so I might not fall or fail.

Thank you Marliza, My family NEEDS to learn how to forgive

each other. Forgiveness should precede LOVE. There is a deaf ear in those who won't learn. I make it an effort in my daily prayer to Forgive and to thank God for forgiving us through His Son Jesus. I release it to the Father, and then I am filled with so much peace. I now find myself thanking God for you.

CMCastro... :) No thank you for your wonderful comment...you know...I so agree with you about the deaf ear in those who won't learn... Just this afternoon that same silent prayer was in my heart, asking God, why don't they want to hear?... You are a blessing to me and an enjoyment to find your comments on my hubs... even now I will thank God for you also and may He bless you with super nice riches that only He has to give... :)

Marliza: Forgiveness especially with someone close is hard, for this person knows us. Sometimes even speaking the words "I forgive you" are so difficult, especially if there has been physical or emotional or spiritual pain involved.

Brother Dave.

That is true Dave...especially if the cause of the pain is an ongoing saga...and you have to live with that people and environment everyday... We have a saying here in SA that if Satan cannot get to you anymore, then he will get to those close to you... he will use them and work through them to cause your downfall... now this is were the tekkie hits the road... you cannot stand for another person if such a person does not want to be helped according to the gospel... thus... even if it is the hardest thing to do... it is still best to try and forgive by the Power that is in Jesus's Name, and not in your own power... so that at the end, its best for you, and you don't end up in a sudden downfall and give the victory freely over to Satan... For your own soul's sake, who's price is forever unreachable because of the Price paid for You, try... do it by the Power that is in Jesus... ask Jesus to help and keep you strong when you can find no more Reason to forgive... then give it all to Jesus... May Jesus hear me now, and help all those who so wants to forgive, but find it so hard and painful in the heart... In Jesus Name, Amen...

This is the most visual writing on the matter of the heart I have ever seen, and it is amazing how God showed these things to you about your own heart. It is true the good works he starts in you he will finish! But sometimes the contaminates in us isn't easy to purge, but by the blood of Christ we are set free, praise God for you Marliza! What a powerful hub!

Marliza what a terrifying ordeal to face if you did not know Christ. Many people do not believe that these witches, demons and dark spirits even exist let alone are sharing the very earth on which we live. Praise Almighty God that as one of His chosen ones He was there to protect you as soon as you were faithful to Him. Wonderful hub.

God Bless you dear sister.

Thank you Loves to Read for your comment... yes... you understood the impact of the event... the witches, demons and that Jesus was there, He was just out of sight, waiting for the moment that I showed my faithfulness to Him, yes, and how blessed am I... many people die yearly of heart attacks, yet they don't know how it happens, or that Jesus has the authority to save them... It is well known here in SA that heart attacks are a common occult related crime... meaning witches that spiritually cause your death...thanks for stopping by..be blessed.. :)

Thank God for His Son, that was and is our sacrafice...so sad that Jesus had to go through so much fo the sins of this world. Yet, most would admit, when they truly understand what He did for them, would be thankful to God as well:)

Just saw yesterday, a beautiful girl, with a tattoo of a cross...and underneath this cross was the word, "Sacrafice". I thought and pondered on that for a day now, and how beautiful the love of Christ is. (I have to admit, I am not one to promote tattoo's!) If this had been pictured on a card, or a plaque, it would of been beautiful. My personal feeling is that God, does not want us to tattoo our bodies, yet I do not condemn those who have chosen to get tattoo's. Sorry Marliza, didn't mean to get off the hub subject.

You are God's child, and He protected you in and through your experience. I too have had testing on the acceptance of those who have wronged me, or wronged others. One day it dawned on me, that I could end up spending eternity with some of the very people that hurt me. I felt like God was giving me a chance to make things right with Him, in asking forgiveness for harboring resentment and bitterness towards others. The other thought was, I would not want to miss out on eternity with The Lord, because of unforgiveness. I've talked too long, so good to read another hub from you Marliza. Many Continued Blessings To YOU:)

Thank you heart4theword for your most welcoming conversation....I so agree with you, I too do not want to spend all eternity in hell just because of some person that I not couldn't but wouldn't forgive... that person who has done me wrong is not worth the price to pay if it means I could forever loose God.... you be blessed abundantly too... :)

Thank you 2besure for your visit... to be close to the Lord is like an addiction for me... the more I get, the more I want...hehe.. All is not always so serious with the Lord, we have our fun moments also..not just the testing and discipline parts... Sometimes He makes me so shy that I would start to giggle and rather walk off, because then I had enough of Him, not Himself, but I'm filled to the brim with His Love that penetrates me and that makes me giggle... To be close to Him is like eating cake in heaven, it should not be because one is running away from hell, or the chastening of the Lord... many blessings to you... :)

I can relate, but my heart attack was what they call a good one. I don't remember a thing once I got to the hospital. I said to the nurse, I am not ready to die, and that was it, I hit the floor. But God brought me back and he is still in control.

God Bless

Marliza, Forgiving does not mean forgetting... Abuse of any kind is never acceptable nor excusable but it does boils down to spiritual warfare! It is about domination and control… When you forgive you give up the resentment that stops you from becoming bitter. You overcome by rising above it… Through Jesus Christ you have the VICTORY! PRAISE GOD!

What a marvelous illustration you have shared. God knows and has your heart!

There is much validity in what you say: “ if satan cannot get to you anymore, then he will get to those close to you.” So true. But “GOD is ABLE!” This is why it is important when the Scriptures tells us to “Guard your heart!” Proverbs 4. Praise God for His deliverance and the protection of His Holy Spirit!

May the Lord continue to watchover you and KEEP you in His love, Peace & Blessings!
