God is In The Suddenlies
Suddenly … Yes, I said SUDDENLY! Suddenly, you miscarry for some reason that not even your doctor can figure out … suddenly, your husband of twenty years is gone … suddenly, the job that you thought would never end has ended …suddenly, you find yourself in the middle of a storm with nowhere to land … suddenly, everything that you thought was under control is out of control and you don't know where to turn. There is nothing … absolutely nothing that you can do about any of it … it is outside of your control. So, what can you do?
Turn to the Alpha and Omega … the Beginning and the End! Nothing, not one thing comes as a surprise to the Living God because when the SUDDENLIES come … He has already been there. He knows all things, has experienced all things, and is in the midst of all of our SUDDENLIES! He is there in the middle of all the SUDDENLIES of your life and He will walk with you through every detail to get you to the place of victory… if you will allow Him and even if you don't He is there … in your SUDDENLIES!
Psalm 139:1-12
O Lord, you have searched me and known me!
2 You know when I sit down and when I rise up;
you discern my thoughts from afar.
3 You search out my path and my lying down
and are acquainted with all my ways.
4 Even before a word is on my tongue,
behold, O Lord, you know it altogether.
5 You hem me in, behind and before,
and lay your hand upon me.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me;
it is high; I cannot attain it.
7 Where shall I go from your Spirit?
Or where shall I flee from your presence?
8 If I ascend to heaven, you are there!
If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there!
9 If I take the wings of the morning
and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,
10 even there your hand shall lead me,
and your right hand shall hold me.
11 If I say, “Surely the darkness shall cover me,
and the light about me be night,”
12 even the darkness is not dark to you;
the night is bright as the day,
for darkness is as light with you.
If you will allow Him … and you must allow Him for He will not come uninvited. It is just this simple … Ask. Invite Him into the SUDDENLIES of your life. And when you invite Him … expect Him to move on your behalf. Trust and believe that He will. Have faith … He has equipped you with enough faith to get you through every SUDDENLY!! It may be only the size of a mustard seed but that seed can grow into the sturdiest of trees if properly nurtured. Read, pray, fast and then do it all over again … encouraging yourself in your most holy faith … even when you are buried under an avalanche of SUDDENLIES … He will meet you in that avalanche.
Revelations 3:20
Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.
And … as He moves in the SUDDENLIES, don't limit Him … don't try to control the outcome … nor the timing. God can't be controlled or rushed. He knows the beginning from the end so He knows exactly when, what, where and how a matter should be resolved or not resolved. If you push, or if you pull at the wrong time in the wrong place the outcome may not be what He intends nor for that matter what you intend. Don't blame Him if things turn out differently than you thought they should have. He will not violate your right to move on your own behalf. He gave us free will. So .. let go .. let Him have His way and you will see the deliverance of His mercy … His grace … His healing and it will be more than enough!
God is in the SUDDENLIES of each and every one of our lives and it is His plan to turn that which the enemy planned for our destruction around for His Glory. He will never leave us or forsake us. He is not a man that He should lie nor the son of man that He should repent … He is Truth!
Jeremiah 29:11 has always been and will always be my life scripture for He has proved it true in my life.
“For I know the plans I have for you,”says the Lord, “Plans not to cause you harm but to give you a hope and a future.”
We pray that you would learn to trust Him in the SUDDENLIES of your life as well!
