God knows us Best

Trust Me to look after You.

I recently had an interview for a job. It was a temporary, part-time job. We had just had a massive bill to pay on our car. If I got this job it would have helped ease our situation, and it would have fitted round the kids.

I got the email that said “ Sorry you have been unsuccessful” I was devastated. I had felt sure that it would have been a “yes”.

It has been a while since I have last looked for a job. I have found the process rather stressful. I have found myself asking questions like “I wonder what they thought of me?” and “I hope they liked me”.

Then of course after the rejection I thought “What did I do wrong?” and “Why didn't they like me?”

I was getting down, so I decided to grab my camera, go for a walk and talk with God. I live in a village and so I soon came to a field with Highland cow calves in it. As I began taking a few shots and observing the calves, God reminded me of a passage in Matthew.

Matthew 6:25-26

New International Version (NIV) http://www.biblegateway.com/

Do Not Worry 25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?

. I suddenly realised I had slipped into problem solving mode and had not given God much of a say in the process.

Now I should have known better but the ministry I am in was going through a transition phase and I had begun to wonder if it had been time to move. I had seen a door and thought it was time to push it and had soon convinced myself the grass would be greener there.

I am still in the same job but still at a junction. I am not sure the full picture in the next stage of development, or even how we will fund it but I know I have to stay where I am and see where God takes our team next.

God is our Creator and Provider.

I agree sometimes i feel life is throwing me back but The Lord always has a plan for me and my family and to be honest things that i want to do dont really cut it to what God actually gives us . May God bless you as he as blessed us.

God is so faithful, isn't He? It's comforting to know He has a perfectly planned out 'plan' for our lives. Trusting Him to Shepherd us is something we can rejoice in. Keep on, sister ~ He is our Provider. If He says 'No' to something we think is best, we can know He has something far better in store!! Be encouraged!! Your sister in Christ, JD.

Get a bit closer to the point of knowing!

- All religions are irrational

- Nature is real - gods are man made myths

- You are a product of nature - all life forms are

- Objectivity can be learned - observe nature closely

- Think for yourself, it will get you ahead

Nature has no use for any gods - why should you?

Thanks for stopping by. I am at the point of knowing thanks. That does not mean I have stopped questioning and stopped using my brain. I have am learning all time. My journey is different to yours. I believe in a Supernatural God that is bigger than your human logic. Nature is resplendent with God's Glory. Nature is evidence of how Big and detailed God is.
