God's Astoundning Sky created for just us

Riding through an endless sky

Filled with thoughts untold

Remembering nights when darkness lay

In pools of crimson gold

Reaching up to touch the sky

Singing songs of love

Hearing sounds that thrill the soul

As through the morn thy they sweetly sigh.

Sounds of softnnesss

Melting through a noon that brings dull aggravation

An afternoon of solace

Singing to the morning

Breeze’s a gentleness of hope.

Colors of the rising sun

Sift through the open sky

Giving wonders in open granger

To the openness of God’s lustrous sky.

:) Nice poem. Reminds me of Psalm 19, "The heavens declare the glory of God, the vault of heaven proclaims His handiwork, day discourses of it to day, night to night hands on the knowledge. No utterance at all, no speech, not a sound to be heard, but from the entire earth the design stands out, this message reaches the whole world."
