How To Have a Lucid Dream

What are Lucid dreams?

Have you ever been in a dream, and knew you were dreaming? You probably pinched yourself, or told yourself and others that you were dreaming. You might even have attempted to fly. This is lucid dreaming.

It is actually something that (over time) can be be controlled, and even done at will. Would'nt it be cool to be able to know that you were dreaming while dreaming? You can develop the ability to fly, lounge on a beach, face your fears, and pretty much everything that you can imagine.

I will be showing you some simple steps to take in order to become lucid during your dreams.

Steps to take to become lucid.

  1. Start a dream journal. As soon as you wake up from your dreams, write down as much as you can remember about the dreams (as soon as you wake up). This will help you practice remembering your dreams. This is a skill that will get easier with practice. If you need to you can set your alarm clock to go off during early morning hours every 30 minutes, because this is the time that we are in REM sleep the most.
