He Shall Cover Thee

He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Psalm 91:4

Do you ever feel unsafe and anxious? Sometimes this world can be overwhelming and we as believers can become bogged down with worry. I love this scripture, when I read it it almost seems like it has it's own music. God wants to keep us safe under his wings. His shield is there to protect us from the fiery arrows that satan wants to fire at us. The devil would love to see us constantly afraid and worried. God keeps us safe, like a little bird under her mother's wings. He wants to cover us from the ugliness of the world in which has derived from sin.

His truth will be your shield and buckler. Think of it this way, in order to have shield protection you should believe that this scripture is true. Sometimes people can become over-ridden with fear that their faith becomes weak. To increase your faith in this matter, it is a good idea to memorize this scripture. When you feel unsafe it will be in your mind to recall at any given time. It is a good idea to have this scripture ready for yourself and also to comfort others.

Dear Heavenly Father, I pray that anyone reading this will be comforted by your word and will want to seek you until their soul is comforted and content. In Jesus Name Amen

The Lord Our God is able to guard and protect us from any danger provided we ask and believe.

This is my favorite Psalm. The first time I heard it was my Mom as she prayed and I never forgot the words. Whenever I feel down or afraid this is the Psalm I pray.

Hi Sky321,

Thank you for your prayer and sharing God's Word. I love Psalm 46, that too is a mighty source of God's Strength.

God bless you.
