Hearken to the Voice of the Lord

And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee. Ezekiel 15:26

Hearken means- to listen attentively; give heed.

Diligent means- marked by persevering, painstaking effort

I remember being taught that Egypt is known as the world or worldly. I learned this at a bible study. My sister was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer, she had it removed but still had to undergo Chemotherapy. She is doing quite well considering. She is still working at her government job and she is presently involved in the dating scene. She has some bad days but overall I think she is doing great. I've been praying for her. She has 2 or 3 treatments left. I think she is brave even though I know she is scared to death. She is not a Christian as far as I know. I want to ask all the believers that read this if they could pray for her, for salvation and healing. Thank you so much.

We all need to hearken to the Lord and some of us need healing more than others. If we are already close to the Lord or seeking him daily it will be much easier. Let us try to seek Him diligently.
