Heavenly Music Sent From Heaven Above

Heavenly Music Sent From Heaven Above

Heavenly music sent from Heaven Above

To ease the heart of an aged feeble man.

Heavenly music sent down with God's Love,

Just a touch of Our God's Heavenly Plan.

Heavenly voices speaking far from the past,

Heavenly handshake , speech so very clear.

Good things to treasure and memories to last.

He went to a better place ,leaving us here.

Not by choice , but he had suffered so much,

He was so very tired and he was ready to go .

His poor old body suffered at a slightest touch,

He has gone away but we're still here below.

New eyes to see with and new ears to hear,

And his voice now is the way it used to be .

He has new legs walking now without fear.

What is he doing now ?Is he thinking of me?

He talked to a friend all night kept us awake,

Teaching tractor repair to a man he knew.

He did it all perfectly without a single mistake,

He told his friend step by step what to do .

He knew that he would be leaving .that's true

And was preparing to soon be on his way.

Never had he told us so often ,"I love you".

Though it was a whisper he said it every day.

He was prepared and he was so full of pain

When God called him it was time for him to go .

I would not ever wish him back here again,

But down in my heart I really miss him so

Would I want him back here? not for a minute

With life almost gone , nothing left but pain.

In a better place now with no suffering in it.

I know someday soon we will be together again!

I know this is a lot different than my other poems

but my husband has been on my mind so much

lately, I just felt that I had to write about his last

days and why I am sure he is with The Lord.now.

I came into the room several times in the room

where he was sitting in his chair,He said he was

sitting there listening to the music, I told him I

did not hear any music , he said,"You can't hear

that music?" I told him I couldn't hear anything,He

just kept on listening and enjoying.. Heavenly

music that God knew he needed so badly.

In dreams he comes back not as an old man

ready to die , but as he must look like now in

his new home,This is written for family and

friends to let them know how he was in his last

days and they will remember they can see him

again someday!

Clara,

This is beautiful. What a wonderful way to share of your late husband with family and close friends. How wonderful that he heard the heavenly music before departing. And how comforting that he was able to express his love for you and his family daily before departure. We serve a great God. May He bless you always.

YES, I KNEW HIM WELL AND FOUND HIM TO BE A FINE HOME LOVING, HARD WORKING MAN. HE LOVED YOU CLARA AND HIS FAMILY AND FRIENDS. I AM GLAD GOD SENT HIM THAT HEAVENLY MUSIC TO COMFORT HIM ON HIS JOURNEY HOME. THOSE WEAK WHISPERS WERE FROM THE DEPTH OF HIS HEART WHEN HE WOULD SAY EACH DAY, "I LOVE YOU."

ALWAYS REMEMBER HOW VERY MUCH HE LOVED YOU AND REMIND THE CHILDREN OFTEN THAT HE LOVED THEM TOO. DON'T LET THE SANDS OF TIME ERASE HIS WHISPERS OF LOVE FROM THE MEMORY OF ALL WHOM HE LOVED. YOU HAVE WRITTEN A BEAUTIFUL POEM IN LOVING MEMORY OF A GREAT MAN WITH A KIND AND LOVING HEART FOR GOD , YOU (HIS WIFE), FAMILY AND FRIENDS. I FEEL HONORED TO HAVE KNOWN HIM FOR MANY YEARS.

Thank you ,Tessie ,for your loving comments ,I was not sure in the first place that I should write it but I wanted people ,family too,to know how his last days were.I did not write everything because some things was just for me. I miss him but I would not want him back here to suffer again like he did. I think I gave you the poem I wrote about him ."If there are Fields in Heaven" , that is where he would be. I love you ,Tessie, you are my dearest friend,I know I do not always get in touch as often as I should but you are always in my heart.Thank you for being there for me always . Love ,Cherry

Thank you Clara that was beautiful.

I can't help but sit here and think of my grandmother when I read this. You see my grandmother was murdered by my uncle and I am hoping that she heard the same music as Frank did...I have no Idea because I don't even know if grandma attended a church...I can only hope she did.

Hello Peanut, It is good to hear from you I am sorry to hear about your Grandmother, I hope she made it home with Jesus. Even if she didn't attend church she could have belonged to the Lord, even in the time before she died she could have yielded her heart to the Lord. The Lord is merciful and I am sure if she had said ,"Forgive Me", that He would have.He forgave the man on the cross when he asked forgiveness. at times like that we just have to leave them in God's Hands. He always knows best. Thanks for your comment. Clara

I cant answer that Clara, I was to young to even remember things like that I was only only a kid. I can say that she was buried Christmas eve.

Hi Peanut,

We all have things to remember and wish we had an answer for but it seems like sometimes we may never know , I guess sometimes it is better if we don't know everything , we just have to leave it with The Lord.

Your grandmother was buried Christmas Eve, my mother died Christmas morning ,1978, she was a Christian so I am sure she made it to Heaven. There are times when we will never know where some people stand and I guess we just have to let it go at that ,I am sure there will be many people in Heaven that we never expected to see , maybe a deathbed repentance is all that they had but with Jesus that can be enough ! clara

I found it Clara. A wonderful read. You expressed it simple and in a lovely way. Many of us can identify with your loss. I see you have come a long way with your hubs. Your traffic is picking up. Such a wonderful way to spend your time. Keep on writing as long as you have the heart to share. I know you are looking forward to your new computer being hooked up. Have fun. Ann

Hello Ann. thanks for your comments, I knew you would understand, you have been there, too. I just now put another poem on but I don't know when it will be on , they said this one would be up to 24 hours but it wasn't that long. The one I put on tonight is ,"If There Are Fields In Heaven,"I think this will be the last one of this kind for awhile anyway. I have many more that I have been working on , sometimes it takes longer when I edit them . Are you going to be coming back on Hub Pages?Maybe once in awhile. I won't say for the money . I don't know about you but I am not making any yet, maybe someday. bu t I never started to write for that,it is just what God gives me and I just try to pass it along. good to hear from you .Love, Clara

Hi Tessie, Right now I see very little of John , he is trying to be in 2 bands outside of working and he is always on the go . Denise has things for him to do but as soon as he gets home from work he eats and runs to go to practice.I think I have 2 or 3 poems on here that you haven't seen yet.I am going to put one on tonight and I put one on last night that was published today . I am hoping that when I get that computer from Wayne that it will work a lot better than this one has been lately. Thanks for your comment. love you,Cherry
