How BIG is your GOD?
My God is sooooo big, His blessings are almost overwhelming:
My husband has been out of work for 6 months and times are tight for any and every one of us right now. He got a call about a job last week(that is 2 hours away each way), and started the orientation which was going to take 2 days. All was fine until the first real work day for my hubby. He got within 10 minutes from the job site and his truck broke down. He managed to call a friend who was working there to give him a ride to the site. That evening my mother-in-law and I went to pick him up and bring him home...only to get lost only 15 miles from him. We took the next exit (even though we didn't know where it was going to take us), and around the bend there was a plaza. Praise God!! In this plaza there was a Radio Shack, Praise God, again. We bought a GPS. The store attendant was so nice that he even came out to our van and programmed it for us, Praise God, again!! From the store to my husband was exactly 12.3 miles. We made it to my husband safe. When we got home my hubby said he was going to have to stay over there close to work for the week so he wouldn’t put so many miles on the borrowed car. Needless to say I was furious, I mean we have five children ranging from 1 to 8. But I shut my mouth because I thought maybe I was being selfish. God just gave him a job after so long, I should be thankful. I wasn’t. He packed his bags and went to sleep. The next morning when he was getting ready to leave we said our I love u’s and he was on his way. Or so I thought. He left at 3:30 am, I went back to sleep. Around 7am he was back home. Honey, is everything ok? Yes, I got a call about a job interview, he said. Just 10 minutes from our house, Praise God!!! By the end of the day he had gotten the close to home job. And now here we are.
God is so gracious, and generous!! See all along God knew what He was doing even though we didn’t. I am so thankful and blessed!!!!
