Easy Method to Find Peace

How to Beat Loneliness

The best remedy for those who are afraid, lonely, or unhappy is to go outside, somewhere where they can be quite alone with the heavens, nature, and God.–Anne Frank

We all get lonely right? How would you like to learn a simple, yet effective method of feeling loved and at peace?

Here is what I do: go to a quiet little stream or sit by the shore of a lake or ocean. Take something to sit on. When you get there just sit down and close your eyes and say this simple yet effective prayer: Oh Jehovah Shalom, our God of peace, I am feeling lonely, sad and depressed right now. Please fill me with Your kind and loving presence. In the name of our wonderful savior Jesus Christ I pray. Amen. Then just sit there. Soon a deep feeling of peace, contentment and love will fill your heart. That is God answering your prayer.

Prayer: Oh Jehovah Shammah, the lord is present. Please guide me to a special place where it will be only you and me. Once there please fill me with Your wonderful and special love. In the name of our beautiful savior Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.

Joe - very nice that you included Anne Frank to your article. :)

Many battle with the lonliness issue, and I think your method of dealing with it is a wonderful one. Because, with Him, we're never truly alone.

Thank you for your comments.

From my experiance the closer you are to nature, the closer you are to God.

That does not mean you worship nature, it means your eyes are open to all the beauty God has so wonderfully shared with us and I feel closest to Him there.

God bless
