How to Navigate through the Misuse of Religious Words - 2

In the previous article, How to Navigate through the Misuse of Religious Words - Part 1 there was an emphasis of the importance to apply precise and accurate meanings to the words that we use from Scripture. This article continues on the same theme in an attempt to reveal more deception behind many of the common religious terms.

Many use the words of Scripture to justify their practice of worship before God, but under closer scrutiny many concepts and phrases in application do not line up with the true intended meaning and context that God inspired them to be.

Therefore go out from their midst, and BE SEPARATE FROM THEM, says the Lord, and touch no unclean thing; then I will welcome you – 2 Corinthians 6:17

Many in the Church system are content to remain blind and ignorant of the deceptive religious words that are used by their hirelings to exploit them to conform to their man-made doctrines being servants to their agendas.

A true seeker of God would not just accept was is spoon fed to them, but weigh, test and prove what is told to them.

Church is not Ekklesia

It is of utmost importance to understand that “church” is a corrupt word that was inserted into Scripture to usurp the intended meaning of Ekklesia.

Once concept of church is exposed for what it is, the rest of the system crumbles on this demonic man-made platform that has contaminated the responsibility of God’s people to attend to the affairs of hired religious men rather than the Kingdom of God.

The Ekklesia are people who have gone through a spiritual new birth who have heeded the call of their Lord and Saviour to no longer conform to the systems of the world, but preach the gospel of the Kingdom within their spheres of influence. It has nothing to do with attending a church building where the masses practice their flavour of Christianity. God does not dwell in religious man-made buildings where there is a Nicolaitian hierarchical structure of clergy and laity where elite ecclesiastical men exercise delegated rulership over their pew warming minions.

For centuries the sinful abomination of church has deceived people into believing that God gave this structure to man.

The God who made the world and everything in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, DOES NOT LIVE IN TEMPLES MADE BY MAN – Acts 17:24

Yet this you have: you hate the works of the Nicolaitans, WHICH I ALSO HATE. – Revelation 2:6

Pastor is NOT Under-Shepherd

When those in the Church system speak of their pastor, it does not mean in the context of the New Testament saints, but is a butchered maligned concept. The fact is that pastor means overlord, and these men draw people to themselves rather than Jesus Christ. They are the religious pied pipers who make merchandise out of people to market their own practices, doctrines and traditions luring people away from properly following Jesus Christ.

But I have this against you, that YOU HAVE ABANDONED THE LOVE YOU HAD AT FIRST. - Revelation 2:4

So also you have some WHO HOLD THE TEACHING OF THE NICOLAITANS. – Revelation 2:15

Satan has been sly and has planted many of his tares among the citizens of the Kingdom of God through the utilization of his agents. The masses are blinded to the countless warnings in Scripture. They falsely believe that pulpits, elevated platforms, special titles and church buildings are of the Kingdom of God.

Anyone who makes himself a pastor elevated over the people negates the true Gospel. A lofty person is not an under-shepherd because they are in it for the recognitionand the monetary. The term “pastor” is a religious CEO of religious institutional business that has it original allegiance to the Greek god Pan. It is in direct opposition to the Greek word for “shepherd.”

Those among the Ekklesia understand that a “pastor” who stands over the assembly is Satan’s counterfeit because this position is reserved only for Jesus Christ who is the Chief Shepherd. They even understand that they are not to hear the voice of the under-shepherd, but the voice of Jesus Christ. The under-shepherd is to assist the Chief Shepherd in maintaining the influence of the Kingdom of God by following the prime directive of Kingdom principles.

MY SHEEP HEAR MY VOICE, and I know them, and they follow me. – John 10:24

He must increase, but I MUST DECREASE. – John 3:30

An under-shepherd is not looking for a lucrative religious vocation to be of great significance in other people’s lives, but is a humble servant.

The Church has NOTHING in Common with the Ekklesia

Those within the corrupt counterfeit Church system expend all their money and energy on building what they call, “house of God.” They franchise their brand of Christianity under the umbrella of their denominational corporate headquarters.

Church has its origins form the second century where specialized buildings were built with bishops inside of them replacing Jesus Christ as the Head. The leading of the Holy Spirit was replaced with man-made liturgies as templates for “worship.” Money would filter through these Christian temples and their priests would be paid to do their duties. Lavish religious buildings would be built to signify superiority diverting all energies to them instead the priority to those, which God had already given.

And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as YOU DID IT TO ONE OF THE LEAST OF THESE MY BROTHERS, you did it to me.’ – Matthew 25:40

The Ekklesia know that the pattern of the gospel is about encouraging every believer to be a worker of the gospel within his or her sphere of influence anyplace, anywhere and anytime. It is all about serving one another out of agape love, not sitting on a pew and passively listening to some spiritual guru.

Church saints
Church saints

Church Saints are NOT the Ekklesia

A Church saint is simply a superstitious term to glorify men of sacred cloth according to man’s traditions. They are among the clergy class who take over the work of the ministry as the educated and learned graduating from seminaries as the officials of church programs.

Men within the Church system have butchered the term “saint” according to Scripture. Those among the Ekklesia understand that a saint is someone who is born again with a mandate to make disciples of the nations through the Gospel of the Kingdom. A church "saint" invites the masses to come to Church in the unregenerate affairs of Churchianity believing that they are “saved” by works of self-righteousness.

For you say, I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing, NOT REALIZING that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked. – Revelation 3:17

A Church is simply a place to find religious hypocrites who attend self-righteous programs believing that “grace” is sitting under an elevated platform where a salaried pompous spiritual guru spews forth his brand of religion.

For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves TEACHERS TO SUIT THEIR OWN PASSIONS, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. - 2 Timothy 4:3-4

Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to VISIT ORPHANS AND WIDOWS IN THEIR AFFLICTION, AND TO KEEP ONESELF UNSTAINED FROM THE WORLD. – James 1:27

Church is defiled with the stains of the world in the name of tolerance. Love, compassion, forgiveness, grace, etc… mean absolutely nothing at the expense of truth. Tolerance is a fallacy when it comes to following Jesus Christ on the narrow path.

If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the ekklesia. And if he refuses to listen even to the ekklesia, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector. – Matthew 18:17

Finding wisdom will only come from hearing the voice of Jesus Christ. Sitting at the feet of a “Diotrophes” will only force the demonic “wisdom” of the doctrine of demons down your throat that leads to carnality, double-mindedness and confusion.

But the WISDOM FROM ABOVE IS FIRST PURE, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere. – James 3:17

COME to Church, or GO into the World

The “gospel” of the church is, “Come to our precious building.” “Come into the “house of God” and hear our special religious guru speak.” “Come inside and see what we do!”

The false counterfeit “gospel” has no introduction to Jesus Christ whatsoever.

In stark contrast, the message of the Ekklesia is about repentance and obedience. It is about turning from the ways of the world and drawing near to the Father through His Son, Jesus Christ. In order to spread the Good News, one must go out into the world obeying the commands of their King. Obedience is the mandate of every disciple.

From that time Jesus began to preach, saying, “REPENT, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” – Matthew 4:17

DRAW NEAR TO GOD, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. – James 4:8

And he said to them, “GO INTO ALL THE WORLD and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation. – Mark 16:15

Teaching them to OBSERVE ALL THAT I HAVE COMMANDED YOU. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” – Matthew 28:20

God’s house is NOT a Church building, but the children of God. God does not dwell in temples built with man’s hands, but dwells among His Ekklesia. Jesus Christ is the one who saves the soul, not attaining church membership by jumping through all the religious hoops.

The Lawlessness of Tolerance and the Righteousness of God

A prime example of tolerance can be found in the Old Testament when the Israelite’s had no king and everyone did what they thought was right in their own eyes. Everyone tolerated their own version of truth. It was relativism.

In those days there was no king in Israel. EVERYONE DID WHAT WAS RIGHT IN HIS OWN EYES. – Judges 21:25

The Greek word anomia [458] means lawlessness. Today, many religious people proudly raise their flags of tolerance. Their “truth” is relativism as all paths have merit. God’s says that these people’s version of “righteousness” is as filthy rags.

Righteousness is about what is good and evil in God’s eyes, not the lawlessness of man’s version of “righteousness.”

For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for IT DOES NOT SUBMIT TO GOD’S LAW; indeed, it cannot. – Romans 8:7

The Church system is based on tolerating the ideology, theology and traditions of man. It is the epitome of lawlessness on the foundation of the notions of man.

Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with LAWLESSNESS? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? – 2 Corinthians 6:19

The Doctrines of Men, or the Words of Jesus Christ

The Church doctrines of men are based on private interpretations of Scripture. This leads to the pride and arrogance of the indoctrinated pew warming masses that believe that their “truth,” or doctrine is right in their own eyes. History attests to the pomposity of the Church system and the martyrs who exposed their deception.

Those among the Ekklesia do not follow pulipteers who attempt to tickle their ears, but rely on the Spirit of Truth to guide them into truth. They do not latch onto religious concepts unless they have thoroughly ben weighed, tested and proven.

Carnal men have applied carnal knowledge to their words, concepts and phrases found in Scripture and have duped the masses in the demonic orchestration of them. The indoctrinated will parrot their pastor by cherry-picking, misapplying, twisting and proselytizing them according to their carnal understanding.

Enlightenment from the Spirit of Truth easily discerns deception just like a “noble Berean” who exposes false beliefs in the light of truth.

But as for you, teach what ACCORDS WITH SOUND DOCTRINE. – Titus 2:1

Now these Jews were more noble than those in Thessalonica; they received the word with all eagerness, EXAMINING the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so. – Acts 17:11

The Church is NOT God’s family as they follow the doctrines of their harlot Mother. Those who are seduced and ensnared in her influence will share in her judgment unless they come out of her. Many do not want to heed the voice of Jesus Christ and follow Him out of the grip of spiritual Babylon, but desire to remain content in lawlessness.

The Spirit of Truth does not tolerate partial “truths.” The Ekklesia do not tolerate lawless doctrines that depend on men who make professions of the faith.

Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and TEACHINGS OF DEMONS – 1 Timothy 4:1

For there is one God, and there is ONE MEDIATOR between God and men, the man Christ Jesus – 1 Timothy 2:5

It is important to be able to discern the religious words that people speak. Although they sound the same, the message behind them makes the distinction between two different kingdoms and the allegiance of the people. The message of that particular kingdom reveals who their king is.

When anyone hears the word of the kingdom and DOES NOT UNDERSTAND IT, the evil one comes and snatches away what has been sown in his heart. – Matthew 13:19

The true gospel of REPENT AND OBEY will not be found in the churches of men because their attendees practice personal obedience and allegiance to their salaried pulpiteer. In this environment, Satan easily snatches away the true gospel for a smokescreen of religious entertainment all wrapped up in words, terms and phrase found in Scripture, but butchered in meaning to promote a carnal agenda.

PandN- Great follow up article. It's bad enough that words are misused by those in the position of clergies. But what I believe is even worse are mistanslate words within the bible. In many case those who mistranslate the bible do it knowingly and for the agenda for a church. One example is the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures used by JW. Their bible never mentions the word "Grace." In place of the word grace they put or inserted the words "underserved kindness." Which changes the whole context of many verses throughout "their" bible. Therefore God's grace means nothing to the JW. I'm not picking on just the JW's. But also Mormons, Catholic , Baptists and many others have done the same thing so that they can fit their false doctrine into their agenda.

This is just the same kind of situation we have with the word church in the KJV.

God bless.

It's a shame how many of the churches have built doctrines off of words that translaters have gone out of their way to err.

REPENT in Scripture

OT

shoob

A primitive root; to turn back (hence, away) transitively or intransitively, literally or figuratively (not necessarily with the idea of return to the starting point); generally to retreat; often adverbially again

NT

μετανοέω

to think differently or afterwards, i.e. reconsider (morally, feel compunction

Some think repent to be just a change of mind but considering the OT and what the word meant there gives a better idea of the act of repentance.

Graceinus,

Organized religion is built upon fallible men and their doctrines. The problem is that the hirelings of organized religion do not want their minions questioning their authority in all matters. Anyone who studies like a Berean by weighing, testing and proving doctrine and words will become shocked at the lies they are being fed and will soon become the enemy. The religious pied-pipers serve the opiate to the masses, all they have to do is set back and let the religious "narcotics" take effect. The prolonged exposure to these types of "drugs" change their reality and the words they use.

It doesn't matter what harlot denomination one is a part of, they will use the same words, but they will have countless different meanings.

The typical Baptist's retort is, "If God's Word says it, I believe it!"

The pompous Baptists believe their KJV Bible is infallible, but it is full of translation bias and farfetched word translations such as,

Save me from the lion's mouth: for thou hast heard me from the horns of the UNICORNS. - Psalm 22:21 KJV

Rich,

The religious are in love with sin; therefore, their "grace" is a licence to sin. "Grace" to them means a pardon from sin while remaining in it. They do not hate sin and believe that all their future sins are forgiven.

When their is no hatred of sin, a loathing of it, or turning from it, religious stillborn are created with no real revolution in dealing with sin through the spirit of Christ. True repentance is seeing sin the way God sees it, but that only comes from the renewing of the mind, not what the church hirelings tell you it means.

The religious will tell you that they are convicted of their sin, but there is no real abhorrence of it. Without abhorrence, there will not be conversion. Sinners go through the church doors, become members and remain sinners. They are not given into service to Jesus Christ, but lip service.

Testifying both to Jews and to Greeks of REPENTANCE toward God and of faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. - Acts 20:21

For GODLY GRIEF produces a repentance that leads to salvation without regret, whereas WORDLY GRIEF produces death. - 2 Corinthians 7:10

...to open their eyes, so that they may TURN from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’ - Acts 26:18

...that they should repent and TURN to God, PERFORMING DEEDS in KEEPING with their repentance. - Acts 26:20

Go and LEARN what this means, ‘I desire mercy, and not sacrifice.’ For I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.” - Matthew 9:13

We are called to repent, reject our own self-righteousness and come face to face with how God sees our sin as abhorrent. Conversion is forsaking a lifestyle of sin and keeping with the fruit of repentance in a life of victory.
