How to become a Saint

How holy are you?

This morning I read an article about people who are Christians just to receive Gods gifts. I prayed to God and informed Him I do not ask for material things like a new camera (my is pretty old and beat up but still works fine), nice new clothes (I haven’t bought any new clothes in two years), to be able to eat out once in a while (I can’t remember the last time I ate in a restaurant), a new computer (Mine is over two years old but still works fine) or anything else. I only ask for a relationship with Him. I do not write to make Him happy so He will be generous with me. I do not believe it possible to be a writer at all without the Holy Spirits guidance. If I am wrong in this please let me know.

The very next email read, this verse jumped out at me.

“I am compelled to preach. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel!” (1 Corinthians 9:16).

The next email confirmed it.

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10

Do you notice what this verse says?

It states quite clearly that we were created for a specific purpose. When we develop a relationship with God, He will show us our divine purpose in life. As we follow that purpose there will be all the fulfillment we need in life.

Would you like fulfillment in your life? Have you committed your life to Jesus? When you do, He will reveal to you your true calling that will bring genuine purpose and meaning to your life. Then you will become a Holy Saint in the family of God.

Saint: One of Gods chosen. Webster’s Dictionary Holy: devoted entirely to the work of the Deity. Webster’s Dictionary

"The elect are whosoever will, and the non-elect, whosoever won't." Henry Ward Beecher

After reading this, may I suggest you listen and sing along with Hillsong as they Sing “Lord of Lords.”

Prayer: Jesus our Rabbi (Jesus our teacher) teach us to be holy to give you praise and joy. Thank you for guiding us on the path You have chosen for us. For those who have not yet had their mission revealed please open their eyes to You divine career in their service to You. I ask this in Your astute name. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.

Hello teacher joe, my brother in Christ!.....Thank you for this article that will help those who may not know our Lord yet, to understand what it really means to be a saint of His......I pray that many people will turn to Him and come to know His Love, the way I do & you do.....I pray this every day actually & ask God to draw those to Him who do not know Him yet......many of my family members don't know Jesus, and when I have witnessed about His great Love for us and about the miracles He has made in my life, they just don't want to hear it.....but I keep trying.

Beautifully said. To become a saint is so easy but we make it so difficult. I think we make it difficult because it is too easy. We think we are not good enough, the point is we will never be good enough. That is where God's love, grace and our Saviour comes in. I agree we cannot be writers without the Holy Spirit's guidance. You spoke so much to me with the words in the emails, feeling compelled because it is from God. God bless.

Great post, Teacher Joe. Finding your purpose in life, or calling, and following the choice will bring you into the perfect will of God. This will in turn help others, and that is saintly.
