I left the Mormon Church

After many years of my life has been spent attending the LDS church every Sunday there has been many questions on my mind about the church. There have been many facits and concerns leveled by people of other religions, and I must say that they have finally broken through the barrier of my soul.

I have always wondered why people of other faiths have felt the need to spend so much time and effort coming up with one lie after another about the LDS Church, and the conclusion that I have come up with is that it is the truely established church of Christ in the last days! Ha, ha, ha, ha! I'M STILL A MORMON SUCKERS!!!!

I don't know why anyone would ever consider leaving such a Christ centered Church. I think it's because the church requires alot of effort out of people who say they believe in Jesus Christ. The church embraces the principle of "doing," and that is alot for those of us who only want to give lip service and not actually live a Christlike life.

In my opinion the LDS Church is so correct to the teachings and doctrines of Jesus, that if there were no Mormons then there would be no God, and our lives would be just one big cozmic coincidence. However I do continue to believe in God because of the LDS church!

Oh by the way, in keeping with the title of this thread so not to be accused of false advertising, I did stop going to church for a short period of my life, and like the penetant prodical, I had much to be forgiven of however I managed to find my way back to the truths of the gospel. To this day I am in good standing with the true Church of Jesus Christ in these the latter days.

Ask the Lord God to lead you to the right church. Ask and it shall be given.

Peace and blessings!

The Lord has revealed eternal truths to me and my family, and I could never deny the sacred gift which he has bestowed upon us.

thanks for the support. ;)

Thanks for your testimony. It's really the basis of what we carry with us into the eternities. It, with the sealing authority, is what will bind family relationships. Thanks again!

You got me! I was like, eh? Onusonus leaving LDS??? Then I thought wow, they broke him down enough to make him leave everything? That didn't sound right but then again I was like, okay why!

While not Mormon myself I always find a few refreshing, just as I also find a few JWs refreshing and a few Catholics, and a few Baptist and a few Pres. and a few Angelics and Nondenominational s etc...

I guess I look more at the way you represent yourself as the church you represent that makes me like or dislike someone, not the association altogether.

Humor always gets me! Blessings. :D

Glad to see you haven't lost the faith onusonus. I like the way you got our attention. I, too, am an active member of the "Mormon" church. Best wishes and aloha!

there is nothing better than spending a Sunday afternoon within the walls of inspiration and the divine providence which the church provides.

Onusonus: I see nothing wrong with the fact that you attend a Mormon Church,BUT, You were wrong to LIE to get others attention in reading your Hub, and then laughing in their faces. Shame on you Brother for stooping to deception to get attention. Is this what you are taught in the Mormon Church? If so you attend the wrong church my brother, and if you have the guts, I'd appreciate a personal letter explaining your lying ways.

Yes Dave my church omitted that commandment from the Bible, so it's ok for us to lie. *Sarcasm disclaimer*

Seriously though, if it were true that I actually left the church there would be a bunch of people commenting and bashing on the church from here to kingdom come, (I know because I've seen it.)

I can assure you that I do attend the right Church but don't hold your breath waiting for that letter.

What kind of food do we Mormons prepare for funerals? I think it's probably much of the same gOOd stuff, only lighter and fluffier perhaps.

Different approach - but quite effective. Very funny, too. Thanks for an entertaining hub on Mormonism.
