In which order do you put these things
As water from the fountain reach to the sky, so to let our prayers reach to God in Heaven
This my order, what's yours?
“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” (Matthew 6:33 New Living Testament)
This is my morning exercice.
(1) I take time to listen to God every morning (that is spending time reading the Bible).
“Everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. “ (Matthew 7:24 New International Version)
(2) I spend time talking with God every morning (this is my prayer sequence: A I give thanks to the Lord for all the wonderful things He did for me yesterday as well as in my life (after all shouldn’t we have a grateful heart? Isn’t that just good manners?). B I have a prayer list and pray for others (yes include immediate family and friends, but why not go on sites like Praise 1065 or Chrisia net and make a list of people who need prayer, then include them in your written list. Write them down so you do not forget them.). C Admit and apologize for the times I sinned the day before. D Ask for Gods guidance in my life. When doing so why not include “Not my will but Thy will be done my beloved. Show me the path You want me to take. Teach me the things You want me to say and do today. Please protect me from the evil one. I have discovered in my life that when I put Gods will before mine, He takes care of the rest (like a place to live, food to eat and love in my heart).
“O, God, You are my God, earnestly I seek You; my soul thirsts for You…” Psalm 63:1
E And of course, don’t forget to end our time in the name of our great savior Jesus Christ.
Prayer: Jehovah Immanuel (God amongst us) I humbly ask that You wake me up every morning so that we can share the most important and special time of the day together, the time we spend together. Speak to me in this time, listen to my prayers and bless me with Your loving comforting presence. In the name of our loving gracious King Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.
May the sweet sunshine of Jesus’ love bless you today and every day.
