Is God With Us
IS God With Us?
I believe He has been with us all of the time (24/7); although I must insist that I was ignorant to His presence most all of my life (not because He wasn't there; but because I could not listen to or hear or feel or detect Him).
I was lucky; when I was comatose it became clear to me. Although he is indeed beside me as I write this; it does not mean that He is always communicating with us in a way that we understand and can truly listen or if you will, take-in. It is important to try to (also) understand that He does not necessarily protect you from making the wrong decisions, harming yourself or others or even protecting you from death. What is "key" to this is to understand that you should not think of this as His lack of love or His lack of existence or presence when you want Him to be there to "save" your so-called situation. He does indeed intervene significantly. We do not see the "big picture" however, rest assured He does. *Perhaps this short video will make it a "wee-bit" clearer (about) what it can be like when you don't see the big picture. Your view when imperfect can result in a significantly different perspective. Here is the link: http://www.wimp.com/viewpoints/
This next point, I apologize I am far from adequate at explaining it; however, here goes...
He wants us to grow while we are here. He wants us to begin to become more like Him. Now to become like Him is highly unlikely (not that possible); especially with our resistance; however, He has a most wonderful "trump-card" that he can indeed pull and He eventually does this to all of us. I believe that "trump-card" I believe is our inescapable-death. He continues to work on us after our death; and can actually work on us (if you will) without interruption. He gets it all done...
Now, I do believe He does indeed communicate with us via what some refer to as coincidences. That is, those situations or if you will, intersection points that occur between us and others at a precise time and place.
Perhaps you can recall some that have happened throughout your life? I certainly can. When I was hit by a drunk driver; I was indeed in the right place at the right time; however, I thought otherwise. You can read these hubs to explore mine:
