Under hot rays of the sun,

and moon's pale light,

We struggle and run,

within each life, a fight,

We must all just survive,

and then to overcome,

With strength, to thrive,

where we each come from.

The human plight,

we may all soon regret,

as in the night,

we roll and fret,

The human condition,

in the choices we make,

A winning tradition,

our independence, at stake.

What tomorrow may bring,

is ours to choose,

Our anthem to sing,

or to fail and to loose.

Let our voices be heard,

as freedom still rings,

There's power in our words,

in the song that we sing.

Today is our day,

we must go on with our life,

No matter how grey,

amid the hardships and strife.

A victory shall prevail,

as in triumph, we stand,

The human heart, to avail,

with strong spirits, so grand.

Human beings are fascinating creatures, and we all have so much in common. You captured the plight of humans quite well; good job my dear.

It's true there is so much that goes on in our life that if we let it, it will bring us down. The human heart is strong and prevails through trials because of the good still in the man. Wonderul poem!

What a great look at the human spirit's quest for freedom. We do have so much to give up if we do not continue to seek this liberty in our spirit.

Yes, teaches12345, we definitely have to keep up the search in our quest for liberty. That is, perhaps, the greatest quality of the human spirit, to never give up and to keep going onward in our daily lives.
