How To Break Down Barriers Between You And Your Creator
“I live not, but Christ through me lives”
Throughout the ages, the desire of much of mankind has been to know the entity I call God, the Alpha, the Omega, the beginning, and the end. Every nation, culture, and race has sought the presence of the Creator, all with trying to find peace and happiness, in what they believe to be the true nature of God. Today we understand the true nature of God is Love, and Gods love carries no conditions, it has no creeds or constitutions. It's freely accessible to every human being.
In the 21st century, the barriers that once stopped us from knowing each other, have been broken down. The internet and other mediums have allowed us to have friends over the earth, friends of every color, nation, and religion. As we get to know each other, we find our hearts are desiring the same thing, to know God, to live in peace and to love one another. The impressive part is that as we lay aside our judgment and see each person through the eyes of love, we finally know we are seeing God, some of us for the very first time.
Love Wins
All There Is... Is Love
Being born into the Judeo-Christian culture, my understanding of how to have a relationship with God focused on Jesus and the Holy Spirit. For this I am grateful; as the focus was on being loving, which laid a foundation for me to know, God is love. Now I know there is nothing else but love, which is the life of God, manifesting in every person, creature, and thing on the earth.
Today, wherever I see love in action, I quickly recognize the presence of God. It does not matter what the persons name for God is, after all, how can we name God? Accepting this has enabled me to break free of my religious tribe. "By this everyone will know that you are my disciples if you love one another.”
Love Is All There Is
The End Of Tribal Religion
For many of us, the old-time religions that were good enough for our ancestors no longer seem relevant. Love has shinned its light into our hearts and what we know to be true, in the light of love, is based on understanding, God is all there is. Our tribalistic religions, filled with the rituals that comforted us, but left us hungry and thirsting, cannot compare to knowing that God is love. "Whoever lives in love, lives in God, and God in them".
Because I have left the old religion behind, I can now always assume everyone I meet has good intentions. And that in their relationship with God, they are exactly, where they should be at this present moment in time. “Be ye not unequally yoked with unbelievers,” now makes perfect sense. The unbelievers are those who do not live in unconditional love, for God is unconditional love.
Being raised in western culture, I find it easy to relate to Jesus the Christ as God. Now my heart, mind, and spirit are focused on the Christ Consciousness that lives within me. I am enveloped in it, knowing I am the I AM, which breathes new life into me with every breath and exists for all eternity.
I no longer wonder about tomorrow and what it may bring. There is only now, there is only this moment. I am finally a listener, not a thinker; I abide with the I AM in the inner stillness of my heart ("The Kingdom of God is within you.”) letting God be God. I understand there is nothing here except God, for my true joy is only found when the Holy presence permeates every part of my very existence.
“He who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.”
We are beholders of God in action. We live from the end, we know that we have nothing to pray for, we are living in the midst of miracle upon miracle. Living every day, knowing there is no tomorrow for us, our self-hood is disappearing day-by-day, as we live out our lives moment, in God's eternal grace.
We abide in Grace and Grace alone. We have only this minute to live and its this life that is fulfilled by the Spirit. When we hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not enter into fear and tribulation. We smile to ourselves and know in the stillness of this moment we experience Grace and that no matter what is happening about us we are at peace.
We Live In The Mist Of Miracles
We cannot give God power. We can only give God silence and let the Spirit speak, as we are absent from body and mind. We let the Spirit be the Spirit. We do not bear witness to ourselves. We leave our thoughts behind and enter into the silence leaving God to function, as He works, we simply accept what is happening in this present moment and live in the miracles.
"Except God, no substance can be granted or conceived. Everything, I say, is in God, and all things that are made, are made by the laws of the infinite nature of God and necessarily follows from the necessity of his essence" ~ Benedict de Spinoza 1673.
Be Still - "Father forgive them they know not what they do.”
I believe, because we abide in love, we hold nothing over any man, We are forgivers, who know all men and women living the egoistic life are ignorant of the flowing grace of God. They have not tapped into the endless bounty that flows through, and to all of us. They are ignorant as if they were asleep. We can never hold anything against anyone, as we know many people are not aware of the Spirit, and their human minds will not be touched by Christ Consciousness until they have been touched by the Spirit. Until then, Christ Consciousness alludes them.
“Be Still and Know I Am God”. I have stopped thinking about God in my mind; I am not bound up in the words, not even the words of God or Christ. The Father, the Son, the Spirit are not found in words, they are encountered when we leave thinking behind. It's then when we realize that in quietness, God is not a word or thought, but a being. God is you, me and everything in our world.
God Is Great, God is Good, God Is All There Is...
Today, I let God be who God is, to each person, acknowledging that I don't know much about what God's plans are for others. Trusting God knows what's going on inside each person, and has it handled. With this understanding, I can be still. Finally acknowledging that I know nothing of what God has planned, frees me from the judgment of myself and others, while increasing my faith and my trust, in God
Just acknowledging GOD is all there is, and knowing God is in me and I am in God, enables me to let God take over my life, and be God. When I make this simple acknowledgment I free myself from creating graven images, as there is no god to turn to, accept the God of I Am, the God who is myself.
I now know, I can do nothing by myself, and by being still, I can trust God. I can leave any pretenses behind, knowing I am perfect in my spirituality, in this present moment, knowing who I am in Christ. I now know that all of us are in Christs Consciousness moment by moment, and those of us who are aware of this gift are grateful for the Spirit of Truth voicing itself through us.
We have created nothing, we, in fact, know that God gave Himself, as You and me. We have no breath of our own but rely upon the very breath of God for our life.
I acknowledge its Him, it's the Spirit, that functions in us and through us. We know that we can do nothing, or bring nothing from ourselves. It is the Spirit that brings life within us, its Christs Consciousness that lives within us, we are dead to the desires of the ego and now are alive because of Him.
In The Presence Of Grace
Knowing we cannot influence God we realize we are wasting time with the pleading and asking, and we become silent and listen for the “Still Small Voice of God”. We even go from a listening attitude to a simple awareness that the Spirit permeates everything and every situation. We live in the grace of God within us. We are aware that we are just along for the ride. It is God who lives now and forever. For if thou seest me, thou seest God. It is in these moments that we know that it is God and only God’s presence and grace that exists.
