Living Beyond Yourself - An Inspiring Beth Moore Study

Living Beyond Yourself by Beth Moore

This is one of my favorite Bible studies!

The focus of this Beth Moore Bible study is experiencing the Spirit-filled life.

Learning that it is through a close walk, and an intimate relationship with God, that you develop all the aspects of the fruits of the Spirit; this is the focus of this study. Allowing God's Spirit to dwell in us, and allowing ourselves to be open to an amazing, enriching life.

Daily hardships, flesh vs. the Spirit, abiding joy, the price of peace, selfless humility, victorious living . . . these a just a few of the many subjects covered in the Living Beyond Yourself Bible study.

Beth Moore first published A Woman's Heart, God's Dwelling Place in 1995. She went on to publish many more Bible studies for women that have focused on a life lived for Christ. Anyone who has done one of her studies, watched one of her video's, or listened to her speak, knows and feels her heartfelt desire that all know a greater intimacy with God.

Fruit of the Spirit - Living Beyond Yourself

This Bible study encourages readers to look hard at their daily lives, and learn to experience the Spirit-filled life.

The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control. Against such things there is no law. Gal 5:22-23

Spending time daily in the Word is what we all need; not only to show our devotion to God, but to deal with the pressures and trials of the world we live in.

This study is available a few different formats -

  • A self-study with the member book alone, or combined with the videos, or audios available
  • A group study for Bible study groups in home, or in a church setting
  • As audio cd's or mp3 downloads for car or home

Sharing this study with other women in your church, or opening your home to a weekly Bible study are wonderful ways to enjoy this 11-week Beth Moore study.

The Book of Esther

What an amazing and courageious woman, and her story is definitely one worthy of closer study.

This study on The Book of Esther not only outlines historical events; but shows the parallels between being a woman during Old Testament times, and the present.

Like many of Beth Moore's studies, this is very enjoyable in a group, yet can be done on your own as well.

Bible Study on Daniel

Daniel: Lives of Integrity, Words of Prophecy is an in depth 12 week study of faith and integrity. The study goes to the core of how to deal with temptation, pressure and the threats that come with living as a Christian today.

This is designed like the other studies, to have five days of personal study and reflection followed by a video session by Beth Moore herself. I can assure you that Beth's weekly video's are powerful and just as passionate as her ministry.

I highly recommend this Bible study.

Believing God

This was the first Beth Moore Bible study I did, and it was done online and with the member book.

Although it is outlined to study for five days and then watch the video once a week, I admit that I was so enthralled and excited by the teaching, that I finished the whole series way ahead of schedule.

Based on Isaiah 43:10 . . . you are encouraged to dig deep in The Word and not only 'to believe in God, but to believe Him'. You will look deep into the lives of many great historical figures such as Abraham, and Moses, and you will be guided into a fresh, new relationship with God.

I promise that you won't be disappointed thoughout the study, and you will be refreshed and even more encouraged once done.
