Moments Of The Day
Every day that we wake up, we have a lot to be thankful for. The gift of a new day before us to enjoy. Moments to take hold of and savor. We should be mindful to take time during these moments ~ morning, noon and night to:
- In the morning, think about and reflect upon the gift we have been given of the new day that is before us. Make a promise to yourself that you will make life better not only for yourself, but for others as well.
- At noontime, offer up a prayer to God asking for strength to those who are struggling at that very moment, even if it is you. Also, for God's love and protection.
- At nighttime, thank God before you go to sleep for all of the blessings you have in life. Your blessings will always outweigh all of life's challenges.
Make two different lists. The first one is all of the challenge's life is presenting to you. The second one is all of the blessings you have. Compare the two lists and you will see all that you have to be thankful for.
Take a moment of the day. You will be glad you did!
