Prayers To The Moon

David Delamare's Moon Fairy
David Delamare's Moon Fairy

Often I come straight to you

We stare eye to eye, face to face

Creating a bond and sharing the space

Where the veil between worlds is lifted.

Oh, Goddess Moon

I share with you all my pain, my tears

My hopes, my fears

Laying my heart wide open

for your powerful magic

to reach down inside -

Only you can see the depth of my pain,

Only you truly know what my heart asks for in its healing.

My Goddess Mother Moon,

I come to you with a full heart

to share all my hopes and dreams

laughter, magical things

love, light, all that I've discovered

all I've grown to be

every phase you have taught me

I celebrate

I dance beneath your light

Singing songs of praise and great delight

Your daughter has discovered what you meant

when you said "Keep your heart open."

Eternal Goddess Mother Moon

I praise your constant vigil over your children

Never ceasing to feel the weight of all the world.

You wax and wane with the tides of change

Always renewing your full heart and promise

to those who still seek, hope, dare to dream and believe.

Your light shines full

and brightens the entire night sky

with reflected love and hope

teaching us strength, courage, and to rely on one another

for we are all children in this human nation

and the light shines too, within us all.

Great CD's with haunted moon and dancing rennaisance feel

I adore the moon, someone once told me, when in need of money, hold my empty wallet or purse up to the full moon, relax and chant "Moon Moon Fill It Up over three times"

Everyone, thank you so much for reading and your comments. I was on vacation and just returned and had no access until now to read all of your comments. I'm going to be holding my wallet up to the moon tonight as well and sleeping better knowing how each of you brighten my day and night with your comments and votes. I'll be visiting pages again this week. Love and blessings to you all, my friends.
