OPC: Presbytery of NY & New England - Sermon Links

The Orthodox Presbyterian Church

I belong to the OPC (Orthodox Presbyterian Church). I am a member of Immanuel Chapel OPC in Upton, MA.

What is the OPC? Simply put, the OPC is a Christian denomination, a church that believes in the authority of the Bible, the importance of the gospel, and the necessity of faith in Christ to be saved from sin. We're Christians.

If someone wants more details, then we can talk a little more about the term "orthodox" which simply means "straight teaching" that is in line with the Bible (fyi, it has nothing to do with Eastern Orthodoxy). "Presbyterian" just means we believe the church requires Biblical leadership by elders and an accountable connection to other churches.

This post is more of a "tool" than an article. I belong to the Presbytery of New York and New England. As one who enjoys listening to God's Word preached, I am grateful for the modern technology that allows us to hear sermons from around the country and even around the world.

Below are direct links to ALL the OPC churches in our Presbytery that post their sermons online.

For those within or familiar with our denomination, this page is intended to provide quick access to the direct pages on which the sermon files can be found.

"Preaching means, “to cry out, herald, or exhort.” Preaching should so stir a man that he pours out the message with passion and fervor. Not all passionate pleading from a pulpit, however, possesses divine authority. When a preacher speaks as a herald, he must cry out “the Word.” Anything less cannot legitimately pass for Christian preaching." - Haddon W. Robinson

For His Glory.

"How shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heart? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: 'How beautiful are the feel of those who preach the gospel of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!'" Romans 10:14-15
