Obama Defends Islamic Violence
Belle is at the Table
Good Morning, Breakfastpoppers. Today is Monday, February 9, 2015. Beetle Belle is here with me at the breakfast table. She was fortunate (depending on your point of view) to attend the "National Prayer Breakfast." To her utter horror she heard President Obama equate Islamic violence with early Christianity. Clearly, President Obama needs a refresher course in history. Please join Belle and me for breakfast this morning. Belle is whipping up a batch of cranberry pancakes. I will be creating enough Jamaican coffees for one and all. We anxiously await your arrival.
Breakfast Not Deserved
Thank you so much for joining me this morning. It seems that President Obama feels it is his responsibility to remind Americans that they are not any better than the terrorist barbarians who chop off the heads of hostages and burn them alive. He implored us to get off our high horse lest we think that there is anything unique about these awful events. I sat at the breakfast and was aghast that the President of the United States would take this moment to remind Americans and the world that we committed terrible acts, as well. Here's the difference, Mr. President, you are comparing medieval times with the present. It wasn't Christianity that made those times evil but the fact that that those times were medieval. I can't help but wonder why you felt it necessary to defend Islamic extremism and make it no worse or better than any other religion run amok. Did you forget that you are President of the United States of America? I am not sure what your religion really is, but whatever it is leads me to wonder about your allegiances and sympathies.
What's the Message?
Americans don't need to be told the right way to be an American. Why would anyone, much less the President of the United States, want to defend Islamic extremism? If the president is telling Christians that they have no right to judge ISIS he is dead wrong. There is no moral way to defend barbarians who aim to cause as much pain as possible while recruiting as many disaffected lunatics as they can. They need to be stopped. In order to do that we need a president who is committed to defeating them and sending them to hell. We don't have that president right now.
Jordan has taken the right approach tin its determination to deal with these terrorists. King Abdullah II has vowed to hit them hard and get rid of them. He reacted swiftly and decisively and I admire him for that. President Obama should rise to the occasion and make sure that we are supporting Jordan in every way possible. This is the first time I can remember a Muslim nation taking a hard stand against Muslims that commit heinous acts of terror. Finally, something makes sense to me. President Obama's lackluster response to these ISIS animals makes no sense whatsoever. Perhaps it is time to find out why?
The whole year through
Just an old sour song
Keeps Washington on my mind....

The traditional moment of silence on September 11, was moved up by a few minutes. Why that happened speaks volumes about President Obama.
This weekend was a nightmare in our country. We had to endure acts of terror in New York, New Jersey and Minnesota. Our so-called leaders were afraid to call a spade a spade.
Our nation has ceased to function. Lying is acceptable. Rioting is the new norm. Congress sleeps. The president is missing and the networks don't report the news. If only we could start over.
