Jesus Christ was born in Bethlehem in a stable during the reign of Caesar Augustus.
The Veil Between Here and There
Believers who have gone before us are awaiting the arrival of their loved ones and friends who love God and pray for others. This is one possibility of what they are doing while they wait.
As I linger near the portal,
I can hear you heart felt prayers.
Do not worry. I am coming.
In the throne room; I'll be there.
All together; we'll be praying...
On each side of the veil.
Children are lost and Hell is looming;
Quickly find a place to pray
We will never stop our praying.
Jesus is here! Jesus is here!

Andrea Bocelli: The Lord's Prayer
The Lord's Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy Name,
thy kingdom come,
thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those
who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
and the power, and the glory,
for ever and ever. Amen.
Thanksgiving and a Joyful Noise
Listed as a Psalm for grateful praise. This prayer is a wonderful example of praise and worship.
A psalm. For giving grateful praise.
1 Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.
2 Worship the Lord with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.
3 Know that the Lord is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his
we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.
5 For the Lord is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations.

Thanks and Acknowledgement to God
Father, my life is in your hands. I am the servant of the Most High God, the Lord of Hosts, Jesus Christ...the Righteous. My gratitude to you knows no boundary. Your love and sacrifice for me has made my life glad. I am overwhelmed by the love and comfort your Spirit brings daily into my life. I have been blessed by your great sacrifice and forgiveness. In good times and bad times, the Lord of Hosts is my portion. Thank you, Lord for the provision, comfort and power you gave me. I overcome through you. Blessed is the name of the Lord.

Apostles Peter and Paul
What the Apostle Peter thought about praise:
1 Peter 1:3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,4 and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade.
What the Apostle Paul thought about giving thanks:
1 Thessalonians 5:16Rejoice always, 17 pray continually,18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
Thanks, Thanks, I Give You Thanks
Thanks thanks I give you thanks for all you've done
I am so blessed my soul is at rest
Oh lord I give you thanks
Thank you lord for the strength you give
Simply carry on thru life's toils and tests
The worst and best you never left me alone
You'll always ride beside me and hear me when I pray
And since I first began you've been my dearest friend
I give you all my praise
