6 Magical Oils For You To Make

Celebrate the Craft: Make Your Very Own Magical Oils

Every day is special for the modern witch. We find the best & the brightest in every moment, & we're always ready to celebrate love & light, peace & happiness wherever we find them.

An important part of celebrating the magic of every day is casting the Circle, having a little ceremony, casting a little spell for world peace, joyful living, or radiant health, & honoring life as it is with an eye toward what it can become through a daily practice of gratitude.

Here are a half dozen magical oils that you can make & use in your daily practice, special rituals, beautiful spells, & sacred Circles. Annoint your poppets with them; use them as perfumes; dress your tools & altar artifacts with them. Delight yourself with these simple oils. May they bring you health & wealth, peace & happiness, love & light.

These would be considered "medicinal oils", because we are passively extracting the physical properties of the solid ingredients used in the manufacture of each magical oil. If we were to use active methods, like steam or condensing under pressure, or forceful cold pressing, we would be making "essential oils" instead.

Make no mistake, my dears: these oils are very powerful, even though they appear to be simple. For centuries, witches have used what is easily available, ingredients close at hand, to make their best oils, teas, potions, & lotions. It's the witch's way, really, to keep it simple & to maximize the energetic & physical properties of each herb in recipes.

Making your own magical oils will add love & power to all of your witch's work in the best ways possible. You will see an immediate difference in the efficacy & focus of everything you do.

Enjoy these recipes, knowing that you can make whatever you need whenever you like.

Blessed be!

Dear Dale Hyde...

You have no idea how delighted I am that you & Mrs. Hyde could benefit so fully from my little recipes. I am launching these as part of my retail outreach this month, since they are always so popular among my friends & acquaintances.

May Mrs. Hyde also be blessed in her creation of these oils & the ones that perhaps these might inspire.

Good luck with the HP challenges! *phew* Even though this serendipitously brought inspiration to you & your talented bride, I wish for you that the "related hubs" will truly be related from this point forward.

Brightest blessings to you lovebirds, & thank you for taking the time to share such kind & encouraging thoughts with me here on HubPages.

Warm regards...Lady Enchantee

Was checking my "related" hubs due to some issues on HP with the related hubs not being related..so I have been trying to find out what I can do...but that is not important. I wanted to compliment you on this hub! Great recipes! I have forwarded this hub to my wife as she is a creator of perfume using various essential oils and also makes these kinds of oils. She was rather excited to learn that there are some "new" recipes here for her! Well done! Voted up, interesting and useful!

It is always my goal to create useful products out of ingredients that we all have at hand. It's so much more fun that way!

Thank you for taking a moment to enjoy this hub & to comment.

Blessed be!

Warm regards...Lady Enchantee

Dear blackmarx:

How delighted I am that you enjoyed this hub!

Your comment about peace & catnip made me laugh right out loud, sir! Just try to think of the sofas & flower beds you would be saving in the neighbourhood by keeping the kitties busy, yes?

Warm regards to you & yours...Lady Enchantee

These are great I hope to try a few this summer after my herbs get growing. I was planning to get some peppermint seeds this year too.

Not sure about the Traditional Peace Oil with the catnip not sure how much peace you would get while being attacked by every neighborhood cat.

Live long and prosper.
