"Replace Luck or Lucky With Being Blessed From God"
All my life, I have heard many people attribute their good fortune to luck. I don't think they are aware that their good fortune didn't happen by luck but by the grace of God. If you will think about it, when someone receives some type of fortune, the first thing comes out of their mouth is I was lucky. When actually, luck didn't have a darn thing to do with it. When someone makes that kind of statement, I find myself canceling it out by saying you were blessed. We have to remember that God blesses each of us, with good fortunes whether it's financial or physical so whatever, but instead of giving thanks and praises to God, we would rather attribute it to luck or being lucky.
God is our all and he creates miracle in our lives every day, and 90 % of the times he gives us our hearts desire, so why are we attributing our gifts of God to luck. If we can realize what we're doing by saying it was luck, and instead give our thanks and praises, where it's due, to God. We might get even more blessings; because we're now praising and thanking God, for his goodness, in turn will open up other doors of blessings for us. I think until we genuinely realize where our blessing truly comes from; we're defeating the purpose of our good fortunes.
I know without God in my life, I wouldn't have any good fortunes to tell anyone about. All of our good fortunes , such as wealth, health and material gain is by the grace of God and not the four letter word called luck. So when we are blessed, try to remember to replacing the word luck with the word blessings from God, or Just I'm blessed because you really are. This little task with take some practice, but keep doing it, until thanking God for your blessings will become a joyful habit and luck will be a distant memory. Don't ever treat our blessings as a chance happening thing because if it wasn't for the love and grace of God, our blessings wouldn't have ever happened.
I'm sure old habits die hard, but if we want to truly be blessed, start saying, I'm blessed instead of I'm lucky, because luck really doesn't have a thing to do with the blessings,we get from God almighty.
