Science can only Prove, the Bible is from Yahweh/ Jehovah.

Bible, proven by Science

Thorough research will show, that modern science is only about 450 years old. As recent as the 1930's to 40's persons who were diagnosed as having high blood pressure were NOT treated to lower their
blood pressure [BP], because at the time, this was strongly advised against.
We all know better today, that early treatment of BP, helps to reduce the risks of end organ disease, strokes, and death.
Similarly, 3500 years ago, the Bible said that the hare/ rabbit, is a chewer of the cud. This was disputed for years, it wasn't until in the 18th century, the rabbit's cud chewing was finally observed by Englishman William Cowper. The unusual way in which it is done was described in 1940 in Proceedings of the Zoological Society of London, Vol. 110, Series A, pp. 159-163.
Recent terms such as ruminant and refection, can in no way invalidate, the simple
but true statement, made by the Bible, over 3500 years ago.
Sadly, fundamentalist so-called Christians go against the Bible, when they claim
that the creative periods mentioned in Genesis, are literal 24 hour days.

More than 4,000 years after the seventh day, or God’s rest day, commenced, Paul indicated that it was still in progress. At Hebrews 4:1-11 he referred to the earlier words of David (Ps 95:7,8,11) and to Genesis 2:2 and urged: “Let us therefore do our utmost to enter into that rest.” The Thousand Year of Jesus Christ, who is Scripturally identified as “Lord of the Sabbath” (Mt 12:8), is evidently part of the great Sabbath, God’s rest day. (Re 20:1-6) This would indicate the passing of thousands of years from the commencement of God’s rest day to its end.
The Bible, in reality, although not a science book, has proven to be way ahead of man in key concepts such as:
1. The earth is supported by unseen gravitational forces [Job 26:7]
2. Earth is oval/ spherical and gives an idea of the geometry of the universe [Isaiah 40:22]
3. Energy creates matter, and cannot be destroyed [Isaiah 40:26]
4. The universe had a beginning [Genesis 1:1].

Both Micro and Macro-Evolution have blaring inconsistencies after a hundred years of 'engineered'

mutation studies, observation of species such as the Finch, and an honest appraisal of all fossil findings.

T.T.

You have this exactly backwards. Science NEVER proves. Science can only explain.

Religions prove, as proof is nothing but opinion.

Well, since I have limited input here - due to it being Bible related - and also that I'm currently short for time, I'll leave this terse statement that may or may not relate to the subject matter at hand:

It is all about your personal intuition that spawns from collective experiences.

To make my brief sentence more germane to your page title: science and religion are all the same...

The point being made, actually, is, although the Bible is not a book about science, when it touches on things construed as scientific, it has proven to be way ahead of man's scientific progress.

This, as well as other aspects pertaining to the Bible, should spike honest curiousity in the passive observer, so as to enquire more of the Bible's contents, rather than the mistaken beliefs of Christendom.

I got a feeling AKA Winston is going to laid some whopping to this ridiculous claim.

''To make my brief sentence more germane to your page title: science and religion are all the same...''

Science does not proved but only explain.

@ "nothing to fool?" [aka "nutless wonder" without anything of its own]:

Science explains what, exactly......?

Religion proves what, exactly......?

Maybe we need to go back to my intuition comment ("It is all about your personal intuition that spawns from collective experiences."), which is where T.T. hit right on cue, whether he meant to or not......

(It is all about your personal intuition that spawns from collective experiences.)

Creative,

Say hello to your Padre for me - I've forgotten his name and his planet of origin but I'm sure his collective experience with the other choirboys will benefit you when he tucks you in again tonight.

Sweet dreams.

@ AKA Winston:

My concise sentence, "It is all about your personal intuition that spawns from collective experiences," applies to you as well, whether you admit it or not.

Anyone with a functioning brain will realize the truth in that statement.

Hmm, I really tried to keep it simple without any reason for anyone to misconstrue, and you still managed to screw that up! ...That says a lot about your stubborn character.

Oh, and by the way, I'm not into that homosexual stuff that you recommend and I'm sorry that you still fantasize or have a fetish for getting "tucked in" like a little baby. My, dear chap, you should, by now, be way too old for such thoughts... Maybe you should have stayed at the Bingo parlor or something.

Nighty-night and rest well...

Christianity, it is said, begins from the burning of the false gods by the people themselves. Education begins with the burning of our intellectual and moral idols.

Is funnty how the theist defend the bible and the atheist make fun of it. But both fail to realized there arguing on two wrong beliefs. The Papal Of Rome is the biggest enemy of the Theist and Atheist but they underestimate the power of the Church.
